It's bad enough imagining the day my kids stumble across this thread.  I can't even envision the shovel that would be necessary to dig a hole sufficiently deep, into which I would crawl, should BK realize the depths of our collective goofiness and perversion.

Our sweet tooth increases daily. First tapioca, then Mountain Dew, then cupcakes, then donuts, now bananas (ok they are a fruit but they are sweet). We are all going to get diabetes.

Yep, not too hard to figure out...but what was funny about it was, it was based on one offhanded comment from one person and all of the sudden it was banners and everything.  But I guess that's how memes start in general...

But seriously I will forget the original artwork some day, but never forget Xsause's pic.  Good grief, I am easily amused.

To get this topic back on Garrus, Pacifien started a topic in the main forum on keeping the aliens in ME--well, alien.  To that end, he suggested a number of differences that could apply to the ME aliens that would render them different from what we are used to now.  One was, what if the turians used a blade to pry off their old scales?  Kind of like snakes shedding their skin against a rock or animals with exoskeletons molting, to give a couple analogies.  I could dig that happening.  After all, humans (and presumably other animals) completely replace their skin layers every-so-many-number-of-days.  Wouldn't turians have to do the same thing?  Then why does Kuril look so wrinkled?  Did he not replace his scales, or do they grow in that way past a certain age?  And I think the lack of wrinkles on Garrus points towards his being in his early 30's at the latest, if they live something like a human lifespan.  Discuss. :happy:

We made it right after the Talithread got locked. We just wanted a place as a back up, in case all threads got locked. But we're having fun there too

Especially since we weren't sure the thread was getting shut down, figured might as well move some of the more weird and sometimes slightly off topic to a group. /shrug

As for the knifing off old scales, that'd be pretty convincing to me.  I wonder if humans are the only race that shower... or wash with water.  Would the other species need to?
