It's funny that no matter how many times you play the game, something new pops up.



I finished my "perfect" pt, and I guess I missed talking to Harkin in ME1, because I got the line from Garrus (during his LM and talking with the volus) about how Shep can talk all she wants, he's going to give his kidney's a friendly thumping.

Does he say 'just like old times?' Because other than that, and a tiny bit of different dialogue when you recruit him, there isn't a huge change. He still knew Shepard (since the point of the game when you decide to not recruit him in ME1 happens after you meet him on his investagation).

I was pretty sure that the default had as few squadmates recruited and alive from ME1 as possible.

I've never tried it myself, but you should be able to romance Garrus even if you didn't recruit him in ME1 and import the file because Jacob has 2 versions of the "cuttlebone" line. One says "I suppose you have a history. That's usually enough", and the other is "I suppose you like your men wounded. That brings him in". The second one plays if you didn't recruit him, I suppose.

And my daily screenies arrive. Today's Garrus screenies are from the Korlus mission and Horizon. I'll let Stupid!Shepard do the talking for me.

Korlus (that mission where you "recruit" Grunt), Commander Sentinel Shepard's diary.

"Dear diary,

Today, we went to Korlus to recruit Dr. Okeer, a brilliant krogan warlord. The first thing I noticed when we got there was that Garrus constantly stared at my butt (first picture).




I discovered a lot of cool things about Garrus on Korlus, even though the planet itself is just a big pile of garbage. For example, did you know that Garrus could fly?



So that's where the Archangel name came from!

After Garrus landed, we finally got to see Dr. Okeer. I like him, he's one of my favorite minor characters in ME2.



When the conversation with Okeer was over, we headed for Jedore to take her out once and for all. Garrus decided to show me exactly why he looked like a mix between birds and reptiles as he took off yet again, flying to the ceiling and the heavens beyond.



We ended up killing Jedore and her krogan, but something wasn't right. We still had a krogan baby to take care of, since Okeer had unfortunately bitten the krogan dust.



In the end, we decided it would be best to take him onto the Normandy. I will call my new krogan baby Fuzzles, just because something so cute deserves a cute name."

It took a while, but I finally got Fuzzles out of his tank! He's so cute and lovely and so adorable when he slams my head against a wall. His cuteness almost makes me forget that he's constantly trying to kill me.




...Wait a second, considering the fact that Garrus and Mordin helped me recover the tank, does that mean that they're practically Fuzzles' parents as well? Oh great, that'd mean Fuzzles has two dads and one mom. That'll make him confused. I mean, what am I supposed to tell him when he grows up and asks me how he was made? That he's the mutant offspring of a salarian, a turian and a human? Hmm, choices...

Fuzzles wanted to be called Grunt, but I pressed my pistol to his stomach and demanded that he take the name I had chosen for him.



Fuzzles facepalmed, but politely agreed with me.

All I can remember from Horizon are these group shots we took together. Oh yeah, and Ashley was there too. I didn't feel like making a screenshot of her. So...yeah."

Really i was thinking, that the only other video game character that competes with garrus's godliness is Ezio from Assassin's Creed 2. I love playing AC2 it gives me good memories. Anywho has everyone doing here?

Poor Grunt. xD His name is "Fuzzles" now. I wonder what my Shepards would have named him if they had the choice.
