A movie about the First Contact War would be awesome. I think the Mass Effect novels would also make great movies.

Yeah, I think it's coming out next month.

I haven't been able to find the comics though. Are they only available online or something?

I got the comics through iTunes and downloaded them to my iPod, but I thought they were releasing hard copy versions at some point.

Hardcopy is available for order now, or at a local book store on the 15th. Same day of Overlord!

Does anyone find that the turians look rather ugly in the previews of Redemption?

The only reason I want the comics is purely for lore. The art doesn't wow me.

I still think the turians look cool in Redemption (I got to see a preview in the strategy guide). There are some differences, but Liara looks a little different too.

First Contact War is double interesting, because it has both humans and turians. And maybe even Papa Vakarian.

They should of got Eric Nguyen. He is good a staying close to the original media and dose really badass work.

I couldn't agree more!  (or, at least, a game of its own!)

If they make a First Contact War game, I hope we can make human and turian characters. Although, playing a human in the war and destroying a turian ship would be pretty hard. I would keep thinking, "Did my character just kill Saren's brother?"

I don't think the Turians look too bad in Redemption. I like how Bioware have tied in the stories with the game, they've created a great universe for our imaginations!

I would LOVE an RPG book as well. I saw the Persona video game one at kinokuniya and it costed around $80 AUD. But I would definitely spend $80 dollars on a Mass Effect one, proven if it's big and has lots of things in it.

Default Shep has a dead Wrex in his PT (killed by Ashley IIRC), so I assumed default Shep also didn't recruit Garrus. For people who start playing the ME trilogy with the second part, it would make sense if they didn't recuit/keep the optional squaddies (Garrus and Wrex) because they have no history with them. The other four are all obligatory so they have to be in the story.

Weird **** if you can romance Garrus with default Shep. Like Janey said, it completely changes the romance.

I'm pretty sure default recruited Garrus, since I don't remember anything different with his lines.

I did one ME2 runthrough without importing an ME1 character.  She definitely acts like she recruited him in ME1.  But yeah, she shot Wrex (ME2 assumes).  Glad my ME1 imports are better mannered.

There's some amazing Garrus art in that book. I think they had some of the concept art of his scarring and EVERYTHING.

What section was it in? I must check my local Borders and Barnes to see if they might have it.

The one I saw was a normal, game-guide-sized manual. I saw it at the local Books-A-Million at the mall. Now I want it. o_O

The "N7" book is just gameplay guide, but as a hardcover. I saw it at kinokuniya, and I was shattered that it was just a guide, not an art book.
