Well, I'm glad I got my copy of ME2, since my copy already costed 79 dollars Australia currency (it was one sale, btw) and the Collector's Edition was around $109 AUD at EB games only. I hate buying games at my local EB games store, since they have sneaky sales people there.

Don't think so. It usually takes a while until they release an art book, unless game developers decide to make an agreement with a book publisher early to make them, like the Unchartered 2 artbook.

I haven't seen the artbook, but I read the same thing - 48 page hardcover. I don't know what the cover looks like, but I'm pretty sure the cover for the collector's edition guide has the N7 on it (not sure if it's hardcover). You should be able to tell by the size though. My guide for the standard edition is close to 300 pages.

If it like the one in the collectors edition, it was tiny about as long as your hand and as wide.

@ silentstephi: I saw another art book online, just a picture of the cover. It came out closer to when ME1 was released. I have no idea how big that one is though.

Thats what I go in my collectors edition. The Shepard pic on the tin, is about the size of your hand.

Just three concept sketches of Garrus' scars, and yeah, like 3 concepts sketches on different Human-reaper versions. one the version in the game, and anopther was a huge fetus hooked inot the cieling and floor. and on little Black and white on of the human reaper in ship form.

Now I know why I was reading comments about a Human Reaper fetus. xD It was a little confusing to read that and then see the Human Reaper in-game looking completely different.

Yeah, I got the Collectors Edition...it's good but nothing detailed and we WANT details. Just the draft of Turian male (because we all know females don't exist!) that you would have seen many times. Very sketchy. A bit of Garrus, but not enough IMHO. I have been known to bias though ^.^

Haven't read the novels yet? Are they good?

Also, going to try out some FANFIC for the first time...anyone got suggestions that won't scare me? (adult is great - anything involving the hamster - not so much!)

nope. you have one close up that just head and neck so you can see the "bandages" and 2 full body front and back in his scared blue armor.

Does anyone find that the turians look rather ugly in the previews of Redemption?

They do have them here, just only in comic shops. You might be able to get the book version from a bookstore, but you'd probably have to get them to order it in, if the novels are any indication.

And yeah, I wasn't too fond of the art either. It was alright, it just left out a lot of the little details (like Liara's spots/freckles, and every turian was barefaced)

I'm also hoping for an RPG book and a full art book like they had for ME1. How long after ME1 was that art book released?

Well, at least we didn't miss any extra Garrus/turian art. It would have been nice to see more though. And I finally get to see the Human Reaper fetus! It would have been a little strange to watch that thing fight Shepard though...

I liked the novels, but I know there were some people who didn't. I like all the extra information - and of course, Saren is in Revelation. I read every scene that Saren was in the day I bought it.
