I'm not fond of the idea of the love interests getting into any sort of confrontation. It's kind of like the Miranda/Jack fight, seriously, we've got bigger issues. And it doesn't seem really seem Garrus's or Kaidan's style to make a big deal of it.
If there is any demonstration of what happens when you leave a ME1 love interest behind, I'd think it'd be simple sadness on their part that it didn't work out and you've moved on.

No Kaidan and Garrus wouldn't fight about Shepard, though some glares would probably be unavoidable. I am sure Kaidan would take it like a man, he is a very calm type of guy. But Garrus can be a bit of a jerk and smartass so he may mock Kaidan a little.

Maybe I'm a catty little creature... (Okay, not maybe, I am.) But I wouldn't mind in the least to see a fight of SOME kind break out between LI's. I know it would make me smile that either would feel that passionately about it. I understand why Miranda and Jack have their fight... both are utterly passionate about their beliefs, for their own reason, and that personal thing is so important and vital to them that they have to act on it, regardless of that greater situation. Sure, both know that the Collectors need to be stopped, but this is something just THAT important to them, personally, that they can't stop reacting to it. Either way that you talk them down shows that they acknowledge the greater issue but also stresses that they're not going to just set aside something so important to them.



And I would feel really all warm and fuzzy and, in a way, powerful to know that the relationship means that much to the men/women involved. But that's just me.

Hmm...I don't see Garrus mocking Kaidan over his failed romance with Shep. He could probably take a dig at him over something else, but certainly not "hey dude, your g/f came running to me, buuuurn".

I like Kaidan well enough for what he is, but my "faithful" FemShep playthrough is going to be tough going. There's a reason I started playing DA:O in the middle of it

I'm pretty sure both guys would take a breakup like men, but I don't want to see it. Hence the faithful playthrough.

Apart from that, I has another banner idea:

Thane/Garrus - Dilemma (as in, which one to pick as LI)

The lirpa (sorry typo) is a Vulcan weapon that is used during a fight to the death, kirk and spock used them against each other  in a famous episode of Star trek

According to the video description, it's from a movie called "Tough Guys Don't Dance" . I've never seen it, but I found this thing in a list of incredibly cheesy lines.

I like Kaidan too and don't want to see he and Garrus come to blows or have my Shep deck him on Horizon.   Would hope that the two fellows would be mature enough to accept the choice of the lady and not gloat or fight about it.  But there is a strong possibility of really good dialogue between the love triangle, if done correctly.

I want to retract what I said yesterday.  I've been feeling bad about it ever since I read it back this morning.  I definitely don't want to see Garrus or anyone else beat up Kaidan.  I should probably drink less before posting, because sometimes it makes me say dumb things I don't really mean.  That was the case yesterday.  My apologies to the Kaidan fans and everyone else.

 I like kaiden too, if garrus wasn't romancable  I'm sure my shep would be with kaiden Its nice when he does get round to telling you he likes you in plain words without hiding it in a sea of unrelated dialogue (seriously it made my head tilt like a confused puppy during ME1) . He is likeable, sweet, believes there is good in people if you don't renegade him, he's flirtatious but respects you. Horizon was a let down, liara kisses you but just get a hug from kaiden and ash? Not to mention how bad their reactions were. I am curious how the romance will go in ME3 actually, bioware said it will pay off if you were good and didn't romance anyone in ME2. Don't worry I don't really want a fight to the death either, Its all in good fun.
