Yeah, Zaeed surprised me when I brought him along for Jack's loyalty mission too. He sounds genuinely appalled at what we find at Telton. "Wow, he's not just some trigger happy heartless merc?"
Edit: Anyone else get up early this morning all excited about the Overlord DLC... only to realize that you still have to wait 24 more hours? /sigh

I'll have to listen again when I decide on my next playthrough, but I really heard a sense of "He's not gonna make it - let's get going before the little fish show up to scavenge" out of him.
I'll have to try him out on Jack's loyalty mission - I usually take them out together anyway, seems like they'd get along, but the last playthrough was a turian's-got-my-back run (uh, duh

Maybe I like to think Zaeed would give a damn about Garrus because they're both badasses?

Must be random.
Anywhoodles, I got dibs on 4th of July Garrus! It's close enough to my birthday XD (Plus, I get a feeling screen shot modding a birthday Garrus would be way to distracting XD)
Alex- the only thing that bogs me down totally when it comes to the meme is technical details. I'm still a PS noob, so when I try to switch up brushes or do something because I want X look, I can get pretty frustrated because the program does what I tell it to do and it doesn't read my mind and do what I want it to do
Also, it's over at Clan V >.>

Sounds familiar. I keep forgetting which brush to use for what. I should probably read a tutorial or something but I'm too stubborn. Must... find out... myself...

I've found an entire collection of useful PS brushes. I especially like the skin texture brushes. They're just so damn useful when drawing...well, anything with skin, really.
Thanks for that. Didn't know you could download brushes. /n00b
I miss the 'turian plating' brushes though

This also might be the first time I've heard Zaeed's voice... It's not what I expected. xD
My MainShep told Jacob to stay with Garrus because she didn't trust Miranda. MaleShep will do the same in his playthrough. "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer." Until MaleShep gets too paranoid to stay close at the end.

No I never paid enough attention to remember what the squadmates said about wounded Garrus either. The poor turian had all my attention.

It's a good thing Garrus is still alive. MaleShep is a Sole Survivor. Watching teammates die on Cerberus missions is becoming a little too common for him.

My MaleShep takes his paranoia to extremes. xD His suicide mission will end with a dead Miranda and crew, and a destroyed Collector base. Then he'll go get drunk at Dark Star thinking, "Cerberus is after me. I have no allies against the Reapers. What have I done?" It'll be interesting to see how ME3 plays out for him.

You know I'd love a moment for shep and the team to actually spill some drinks together

I want to see drunk Mordin hitting on drunk Chakwas. Now THAT'd be epic.
/grabs flame shield
Mordin-flirting aside, drinking with your squad would be nice.

Nah, someone on Masskink already did it.
Don't let the Masskink link fool you BTW, the fic is smutless (it's just flirting) and actually pretty cute.

Flirty Mordin would lose interest about halfway. Salarians and their fast emotional processing, y'know
"My, Dr Chakwas, has anybody ever told you what lovely--right, must go, much to be done."
And yeah, I always have Zaeed piping up about Garrus not making it after the gunship. I'd love to see what other teammembers have to say, but that would imply *waiting* to get Garrus. Besides, I don't want to bring either Mordin or Jacob along, because I always feel like Garrus needs a non-squishy with him (and Zaeed's about as non-squishy as you can get, besides Grunt). So yeah, it's always Zaeed, and I actually was surprised that he did sound affected by it: maybe not quite concerned, but certainly "aw crap, another dead body".
Of course, this particular "not wanting to wait" mindset led to my MaleShep and Miranda scraping through the base by the skin of their teeth on Insanity...I could've at least waited to get Grunt before I tried, but noooo...
This also led to Garrus actually DYING during the last stretch before the gunship (when they stat storming from downstairs): he insisted on standing in a window. Cue dramatic "NNNNOOOOOOOO" and reload...The next time I just stuck Miranda and Zaeed at the windows so that they'd prevent Garrus from moving there. Worked like a charm. Silly suicidal turian

What happens when Garrus dies before the gunship scene happens? He's not dead for real, is he? I was only playing on Casual, so I had no trouble keeping Garrus alive. My Shepard though... I had to reload several times during his recruitment mission.
I was wondering if my MaleShep should recruit Grunt and Jack before going to Omega so he can take them instead. He has good reasons for both... go to Omega first even though that would be following Cerberus' advice because he really doesn't know what else to do, or recruit some squadmates that he would probably be comfortable around first (yeah, MaleShep likes krogans and criminals).
