What happens when Garrus dies before the gunship scene happens? He's not dead for real, is he? I was only playing on Casual, so I had no trouble keeping Garrus alive. My Shepard though... I had to reload several times during his recruitment mission.

He falls down on his knees and crumples in a heap. I assume he's dead for good, since he's not in your squad at that moment, so I wouldn't expect him to get revived afterwards. I didn't wait around to find out, I literally hit the Xbox button as soon as his death sequence started to play. And I won't try to check what happens afterwards, even for science!

@ battlechantress: Grunt's line about being hungry is on Mordin's recruitment though.

I like the idea of my MaleShep going to Omega first for dramatic effect. He has to keep Miranda with him during the Garrus recruitment because he doesn't trust her enough to leave her with Garrus, and then for Mordin's mission, he'll have to make the hard choice of bringing the two humans who won't catch the plague, or the two people he trusts (one of them being Garrus). I want to see him bring Garrus into the plague zone. If Jack was there too, then he would already have two humans that he trusts.

POP goes the vorcha. xD I knew Grunt had that talk with the krogan, but I didn't know the vorcha's head would go flying.

@ Nilfalasiel: Maybe there's a youtube video of it somewhere. I wouldn't want to play through it either, partly because Garrus' recruitment was one of the harder missions for me.

Yeah, no kidding:  The fish tank contains fish-killing chemicals, you can spy on anyone in the Engineering room, and if Garrus stops calibrating the main guns for even one second, the whole ship will blow up.

I've been watching youtube videos of the Saren conversations over and over for each possible dialogue option so I get it right the first time and don't have to watch Saren kill himself three different times because I didn't like the way Shepard said his lines. Youtube vids can be paused before it happens! Although, I managed to pause it right at the moment he fired. My timing usually isn't that bad.

Gah don't remind me. After the collector base I rushed to Garrus for some post mission dialogue after seeing tali's and jacob's on youtube, boy was I let down  Nothing? Really? Romances should be equal in terms of dialogue, in a way it's like bioware is punishing you for picking the "wrong" one , do you know what I mean? I got that garrus had less physical contact in his scenes (hoping for more touch in ME3 ) and I got that he took longer to open up to you but no post mission dialogue ethier? Jeez.

It's like Thane's battle sleeps, except I get more time for headshots.
