I think a big screen is better anyway (I got really good experiences from going to IMAX and watching all those history documentaries) but 3D? Noo..

Off-topic here: Anyone considered getting the 3DS? My friend's planning to get it because of all that type at E3, but I think it's going to be useless. I'll rather buy the new xbox 360 slim than get the 3DS

I have to sign that petition now kg.

A friend of mine who is also a ME fan I were discussing the movie a while back I remember saying that it could all go horribly wrong - imagine Paul Verhoeven version AKA like a mix of Starship Troopers and Showgirls, ~ shudders.

Although I quite like ST (and love his Dutch language film Black Book) Showgirls has to be the biggest piece of trash ever made, the only, and I mean only film I've ever walked out on.

Considering I've never seen a 3D movie nor do I plan to, 3D may be interesting for the handheld. But I'm most interested in updated graphics (independent of 3D) and processing power for the DS. I somewhat expect the 3DS to be quite literally, the DS with 3D. Hopefully I'm wrong. But I'll need to see more of it, either way. The thing that interested most from E3 was Silent Hill 8. Nothing else really grabbed my attention (that wasn't a total gimmick).

Great!  Every signature counts... ;):D

Verhoeven did ST?  Great movie BTW.  Didn't he do Robocop too?  The only film I've ever seen twice in the theater on the same day.  It blew my mind. :D

The new Xbox 360 model is sexy.

Even so, the Microsoft Conference was pretty bad. I thought the Sony & Nintendo conferences were better.

I was debating whether or not to get the slim xbox 360 or the cheaper old elite chunky xbox 360...

And yeah, Microsoft's conference was disappointing. Fable III looked really lame with that E3 trailer. >.<

Yep he did ST and Robocop and Basic Instinct oh and my one of my other favourite SF films Total Recall.

Yes the new Xbox is very sexy and very slinky black (I have a white one).  Its a pity we can't upgrade Garrus's fashion choices.

That depends on whether or not the new one is gonna pull the shenanigans of the old one...I'll reserve judgment for a while. ;)

Fable II itself was sort of disappointing. I suppose I can owe that to Molyneux and his hype and half-truths. Still, I might take a look at Fable III. If it's as short as Fable II though, I doubt it'll be worth a purchase for me.

Yeah, I know... the rings of death...

I still have my old xbox with my copy of Jade Empire and I would like to upgrade to xbox 360. Too bad most of my funds go to my photomedia equipment... ><

Yeah, we all agree on that XD

I hope in ME3 or a ME2 DLC I can take Garrus out to shopping. I would go all Fabulous on him XD

Alexine that Fable 3 trailer DID look lame - I also saw a few screenshots for the ladies hero too, she still looked kinda chunky, bah I don't want to have to keep eating celery! I want pie!

My 360 is workhorse, so until the RRD I'll probably hold onto it. We still have our original Xbox sitting in this very room. Its sad and dusty. I'm keeping it to pass on to future generations.

Even better, let's have him JUST wearing the armor. This, or nothing. At its best Fabulousness indeed.

<3
I just love the way armors fit him. The way he looks with them.
Yeah.

For those who fancy Garrus physically - what do you think is his best asset? I actually quite like his arms and the way they taper down to those oh so dangerous looking talons.

I suppose it's weird for me, but I like his legs the best probably. I've always been more into slimmer guys (not a huge fan of bulgy muscle) and Garrus legs are slim with shape.

Second would probably be his face-paint. It really suits him aesthetically.

Nope, just totally perverted. :o:whistle:

And as for physical attributes, I'd have to vote for his shoulders (espec. in the heavy armor) vs. his narrow waist and his feet always looked really cool for some reason to me. :P
and yeah talons FTW

I definately agree with the face-paint point. There's something about the way it frames his look that makes him so irresistible. The voice a key feature though.
I also like the way his face, fringe and all, is shaped.

I'd stick with his face as a choice for a best asset. I like pretty much every other* Turian's body.

*Edit: Who put that "other" there?

On the offtopic side, I'd join the discussion but I don't happen to have a 360 nor have played anything besides anything-black isle/bioware or table RPGs, like AD&D, Mage, L5r, Vampire, you know.
Or... eugh... SL roleplaying (IT'S ROLEPLAYING! IT'S NOT ABOUT HAVING A HOUSE WITH A POOL AND GOING TO THE DISCO! I WAS A NINJA THERE! xDDD).

It's good to learn about all this though. I'd love to see a game like BG2, ME or even DA:O to play when these "finish", but... Sigh. Maybe I'm being too reticent to try.
