I'm actually dreading that.  I took a several-months'-long break from this board (well, the old one) before ME2 was released...and I LOVED not knowing a damn thing.  Finding out for myself that Garrus was a romance option, for one thing, was a moment I remember very fondly and I'm eternally grateful I didn't even think about the speculation of the possibility.  But I'm addicted to this board.  Hardcore.  Agh, what to do...

Catching uuup:

Both my FemSheps look almost exactly the same (just minor eyebrow and eye positioning difference). I admit it's a little weird to have one of them romancing Kaidan and the other one Garrus because of that, but I'm so used to their appearance that I don't want to change it. But the only features they have in common with me are pale skin and blue eyes. Otherwise, I gave them short black hair and a slightly hooked nose (I always thought it looked sexy). I like red hair as well, usually, but I seem to be going through a black hair phase lately. 



Hmm...I've only just noticed that her eyes look black on the squad screen 

 My Dalish Elf Warden (the only one I have so far) is also pale with black hair, but she has it in a bun and has black eyes. She also has that tattoo that looks a bit like foliage on the forehead with a thin line down the nose; it's the only pattern that I didn't find invasive. 

I played DA:O after ME2, and I did like it. The silent protagonist was a little weird after ME, but character interaction as a whole was miles better. That's simply undeniable, even though I like fewer of the DA:O squaddies than the ME ones. Zevran, Shale and Alistair...and the dog. In that order. The others...nnnnooot really. I also agree that the storyline as a whole is pretty generic and that the pacing is lacking sometimes. The Circle Tower and the Deep Roads are the main offenders...soooo goddamn long. Oh and the combat system still kicks my ass...even on Normal >.> Still, I enjoyed the game as a whole. Had some pretty disturbing moments, some great comedy and some pretty tough choices.

What I find attractive about Garrus: the eyes, the face in general (I agree about the tattoo pattern looking good on him), the waist, and yes, the feet as well. That arch makes him look more predatory. And predatory is mrowr  I also agree about him being more turian-like in his youth. He has to have had a phase where he tried to live up to Papa Vakarian's expectations before realizing that he simply couldn't do it.

Oh, and it's a tough call between those two smiles. I guess I'll vote for Sheploo though, cuz I've seen even creepier grins from him. Poor, poor Tali...

Hmm I don't recall any smiles in the Tali romance either that are bizzare. Also yeah what Collider said. No Sheploo with me either.

here on youtube sheploo gives one smile during the scene, and it from a profile shot so you can't tell.

The Leliana DLC, what do you all think about that?

It makes me wonder if they're going to do the same for Mass Effect - that is, have DLC where you play as the character. I think Garrus is probably the most appropriate. I'd love playing as Garrus in his Omega days. Though I wonder if still having moral choices would make sense? I think it could. Either way, I get the sense that Garrus' crew have quite the personalities. We'd know that Sidonis would be the "Judas" but seeing the character interaction among the squad would be great.

Previous adventures of Garrus (or Wrex) as a DLC would be great. I would buy it.

A Garrus DLC would be great. I'm not sure how they could implement moral choices (maybe something like the colonists on Feros, but then with Omega citizens? Either making sure they stay out of harm's way or not caring about them at all?) but it would make for great DLC/a good expansion nonetheless.

Leliana is probably the DA:O squaddie I like the least, but if her DLC means we'll be having DLC about other characters too, then I'm all for it. Zevran and Shale would be like catnip to me, Sten could also be interesting. But I'm not sure if it would work with ME, because if they wanted to be fair to everyone, they'd have to make a helluva lot more DLCs than for DA:O. But Garrus' Omega phase would definitely be a great idea. Samara's/Wrex's/Zaeed's merc days could also be good (albeit extremely different). Some of Kasumi's past heists could also be fun. And if they wanted to do something a little bit more morally edgy, why not Thane's revenge against his wife's murderers?

There's a lot to catch up on in several pages...

I've mentioned before that I wouldn't mind if the movie was about Shepard's story, and it wouldn't really bother me if the characters had different voices... but I would never watch a 3D movie, or play a 3D game. If ME3 only came out in 3D (which I doubt would happen), I would not play it. The Mass Effect games are my favorites, so that's how much I don't like 3D. 

The best-looking part about turians in my opinion is their faces and fringe. I think it looks cool, and their expressions are adorable.

I don't make Shepards and Wardens that look anything like me, or make the same choices I would. I just create many different characters, so they have a big variety of looks. MainShep has a light tan (skin color number four, probably), dark blonde/light brown hair, and hazel/gold eyes (it depends on the lighting). My MaleShep in the playthrough I was trying to finish (before Liara decided I have to go back and recruit her last) is light skinned with red hair and light blue eyes. The Warden I'm playing now (a male human mage) probably has the same skin color as MainShep (the light tan option, but it looks a little darker on him for some reason), black hair, and green eyes. He's actually the first character I really changed the face structure for, and I think he came out pretty good. No pictures because I play on Xbox.

Random comments about DA: My current Warden is level three too, and the darkspawn do fear him. Bann Teagan seemed like he should be a romance option, since he and one of my female Wardens did a lot of flirting. Also, my mage hates the Chantry, and when that priest at Duncan's camp asked if he would receive the blessing, and he said no, she said "Then begone, heathen!" xD

If they ever come out with any Garrus DLC, I hope you guys take screenshots and post them here so I can see them. I'll also watch the whole thing on youtube. I finally got to see all or most of Overlord, but I didn't get to see Garrus shoot the mech yet.
