And you should totally post progression pics...if not here, somewhere on the site. I've never had the talent myself, but I'm a huge nerd for costume making. The process is particularly fascinating.

Anywho...That female LI poll makes me laugh maniacally. The combined male and female votes for Garrus overwhelms the competition. I wish I could be shocked by the Kaidan support, but I remember thinking "Wow, this is a good looking subordinate. This...Alenko guy. This guy that isn't Jenkins. Oh, no! Jenkins! Why did you just run out into the line of fi--oh, you know what. I think you were a joke. Ohhhh....Jenkiiiins..."

Oh, wasn't trying to say that calling Legion "geth" in the subtitles was inaccurate. Just trying to make a case for Pallin possibly being alive by poking at some perceived subtitle inconsistencies. Of course, he could still very well be the "Executor" character that Sovereign smooshed while making his run for the Citadel. Again, just trying to give Pallin a fair chance at surviving by poking at the subtitles.

@ aynxalot and Mucho_Nacho: Thanks! I'll definitely be sure to post the fancomic here when it's done. That might not be for a while (since I tend to get a little OCD with drawing and if it's not done right it's garbage), but I'll definitely remember to put it up here.

EDIT: I'm going to need a lot of Garrus reference pictures (since I can't draw turians without reference, let alone Garrus, to save my life). Could anyone link me to some high res pictures of Garrus from Mass Effect 2? Preferably before he has his face blown off. A lot of the links on the OP aren't working anymore.

The high-res collection of Riot's is great especially for different angles of his face. The link to the download is linked on the OP and I can confirm that it still works.

On another, another side note.  I don't remember who was saying that they were going to make a fan script for a  post Omega 4 Relay excursion for repairs on Palaven, but I wanted to offer fangirl encouragement to do so.  I would drool over a chance to read a nice long fanscript about meeting Papa Garrus with Garrus as a LI.

I'm still tied down between classes and work, and still trying to hammer out details in my free time. I'll try working on getting the opening act sorted this week. Right now, I'm debating on the best method for an opening; do I have a lead-in conversation, rationalizing the visit to Palaven, or do I open it right when they're entering Palaven's orbit? I'm leaning towards the latter just for pacing purposes.

Plus, going back and forth with the timing of events, and trying to make the father/son conflict not come across as just a misunderstanding, has been a bit trying.

Also, for the purposes of this fan script, Shep's full name is Samantha "Sam" Shepard, and the Spacer+War Hero origin is used...though in keeping with the Mass Effect style of conversations, most people still just call her "Shepard"

@ enormousmoonboots and aznsoisauce: Thanks for the reference pics! For some reason, I'm getting a "the file associated with this link has expired" message with Riot's collection. Silentstephi's links are working just fine, though.

Okay, I was bored and had time on my hands. :B Upon listening to the "Executor" character from Mass Effect at the end: Er, I'm actually hearing two different voices for said character. One is noticeably more scratchy sounding than the other. And after listening to Pallin's voice again, his voice is much deeper than either of the two voices at the end. Maybe "Executor" is a turian military position? C-Sec was formed by turians, it'd make sense for them to have a turian military esque "command" structure in the civilian organization as well.

Oh, and assuming the Executor character is the turian making threats against Sovereign with his righteous finger pointing, woohoo, Pallin and turian Executor character's facial markings are completely different (Pallin's nose is also skinnier than the other turian character).



Pallin's chances of surviving Sovereign's attack have gone up a bit, I think. You know what this means? MOAR TURIAN NPCS. TAKE OFF THE UNDERPANTS AND THROW THEM AT THE SCREEN IN CELEBRATION. Pallin cameo for ME 3, please.

But   I have to say, I liked Pallin's shiny metallic blue tattoos.  Looks like he wrote on his face with metallic gel ink pens.

From what I heard it's there in the dialogue in ME2.  I probably heard it myself, but I can't remember where.  No, wait, someone said it was in Emily Wong's news broadcast?  Well, I can't remember.  Someone else maybe can find it for you?

I don't remember anything about Pallin being dead/injured. It's not mentioned in the wiki either.

EDIT: Just remembered . The Executor Chellick comment is mentioned on the Citadel News if you spare Sidonis.

I didn't remember it either, but Chellick is now Executor.  Something apparently happened.

I think it appears in the galactic news not on the terminals but just spontaneously or maybe not. I don't know where it comes out especially since I never pay attention to the news except for the Batarian in Omega that talks about the slave trade and how useless humans are. LOL. However I haven't heard anything about Pallin, if he survived he either retired or was injured. I hope he returns though and I hope he changes his mind about humans if you're a paragon Spectre. Although I don't blame him for not liking humans, humans just want to get their hands on everything and they exhaust resources too fast. J
