@ silentstephi: Thanks, the Wiki has a nice list of turian armor. The helmets on the light armor look adorable. For some reason, I don't remember seeing them before.

@ Mentatzoee: It's not like I don't like any of the armors, I just don't think all of them look quite right on certain squadmates. I guess for Garrus, I try to match his armor to the blue tattoos, and for Wrex I try to match the armor to his red... headcrest? I have no idea what those are called. xD Some of the armors just seem to clash with their own colors.

Certainly have - no issues. Too easy in fact! Just the usual bank fee for overseas transactions (meh...couple of dollars per transaction). If you buy a decent amount of points it saves on the fees - I think I went for 800 per time.
Go on Alex...you know you want the shiney!


EDIT: That was using Mastercard directly through the site BTW - not paypal.

@Stephi - its maroon not pink! Ok maybe its "pinkish brown" not a fan of pink in general - but of course if its fabulous pink thats a different story!



I bought mine through Xbox live Rebe - microsoft points on my partners account (he hasnt noticed yet....) purchasing these still incurs a stupid bank fee though when you use your VISA. Banks grrrr

I noticed someone a couple of pages ago mentioned Garrus and his sense of smell. I think he comments on smell more than once in ME2, maybe both times in regard to Harkin (though I don't remember). Once I noticed that it's brought up twice during a replay, I started to think turians probably have a very good sense of smell, too, but before that replay I was more inclined to believe that it was just a figure of speech ("I know he's close.")



When you consider the context, too, "I know he's still here. I can smell him." and "I can smell his fear," etc., it really does look like Garrus has an excellent sense of smell. He doesn't say it in a figurative sense. If he phrased it to be something like, "Harkin's so close I can smell him," or "This setup reeks of Harkin--he's still here. I just know it," then it would seem less literal.

Oh and more good news!  Finally(!) got my man to download ME1 to play it! Steam apparently has it for something like $5 at the moment. I knew the nagging would work sooner or later...

Also, am I the only one here looking forward to Dead Space 2? Or the new Fallout?

Mass Effect 2 derailed my glorious immersion in Fallout 3 GOTY... I expect Fallout: New Vegas to rival ME2 for my time fill some of the time until ME3!

Seriously.

From your mouth to Bioware's ears!  But Garrus will be in it. And we will love it.
As long as they don't stuff it up by trying to do too much (ie tying it into the movie to the point it suffers)...and fail. Also, BK not voice in movie or ME3 = Fail. Huge plotholes = Fail. Poor storyline = Fail....etc, etc. you get my point.

Just a bit sad for me that the movie will be MShep...FShep would be so much cooler IMHO. A real 'Ripley" kick butt leading female. But it'll be a guy...cos, apparently, it takes a guy to save the universe <_<

That did make me facepalm.  It was so obvious they just re-colored his old armor, although I love the colors of the loyalty armor.
I DL the alternate armor as soon as it was available and I do like it.  I use it sometimes but the beer straws are distracting.

I used my BF's Mastercard to buy points directly through the site. No idea about fees, that's his problem .

I prefer Garrus's heavy armor in ME2. Never liked the armors in ME1, even Garrus in a mankini looks better.

Yeah, I'll think I'll use my paypal account. Been trying to cut down on fees, especially when AUD dollar is not that strong... (ergh, stupid Australian currency behind most other countries). Two more days until paypal fund transfers is complete, as it takes usually a week to transfer.

I actually though the medium armour in ME1 suited him at that stage, but he did look impressive with the Heavy Armour from the Mass Effect Art Book.
