@ enormousmoonboots and aznsoisauce: Thanks for the reference pics! For some reason, I'm getting a "the file associated with this link has expired" message with Riot's collection. Silentstephi's links are working just fine, though.

I still have the .rar file, so I'll have to upload it somewhere for you later tonight when I get back from work. I'll even PM you the link in case you don't catch it in the thread.

And the sammich piccer never fails to make me smile...

Re: Executor Chellick - As someone else has already pointed out, I think you only hear about it if you don't kill Sidonis. The news says something about Chellick commenting on how Omega is out of their jurisdiction.

Hey guys, once again expressing my support for my (close) second favourite character ever! :D

Also, if you have a moment I'd like you to check out my new Garrus-heavy fanfic, Mass Effect: Interceptor.

social.bioware.com/1318809/blog/3128/

I'd appreciate the opinions of hardcore Garrus fans such as yourself!

Keep up the love for my bro! ^_^

Count me in the 'Pallin is totes dead' camp.

Makes sense that such a radical shift in command would happen (and I'd totally see Pallin on the front lines during the Citadel attack) and the fact Pallin is -so far- one of the few ME1 characters that you don't hear anything about or from via an extranet mail message.

I'm surprised that Chellick got mega promoted though. That was one of the genuine surprises I got in the game for ME1 updates.

I don't really care how Garrus feels about the guy. I thought Chellick was pretty awesome. He wasn't out to get Rita killed. He got POed that Shepard was putting her at risk... and he was one of the nicest turians to Shepard in the game. So I'm glad he got that promotion!

Chellick is my second favorite turian in the game (Behind Garrus Obviously but it's close) I'm happy he's in charge now. I really liked him, and his white paint and green green eyes were to die for. I'm a little sad we didn't see him in the game.

I <3 Garrus. Hopefully I can get him and Ash back in my squad to finish the fight. ;)

Does anyone know how to get the conversation where Garrus talks about Chellick? I know it happens at the C-Sec hallway but I always just get the conversation where they tell you to go talk to Bailey.

Do you have to keep not going to see the council or something?

ME1: Bring Garrus to talk to Chellick when you're doing the 'sister working in Chora's Den' sidequest, he comments on his methods.

ME2: Not a conversation, but spare Sidonis and watch the Citadel News Net with Emily Wong. Eventually a spot mentioning Executor Chellick talking about Sidonis turning himself in comes up. But I don't think Garrus has anything to say about him.

Okay, I was bored and had time on my hands. :B Upon listening to the "Executor" character from Mass Effect at the end: Er, I'm actually hearing two different voices for said character. One is noticeably more scratchy sounding than the other. And after listening to Pallin's voice again, his voice is much deeper than either of the two voices at the end. Maybe "Executor" is a turian military position? C-Sec was formed by turians, it'd make sense for them to have a turian military esque "command" structure in the civilian organization as well.

Oh, and assuming the Executor character is the turian making threats against Sovereign with his righteous finger pointing, woohoo, Pallin and turian Executor character's facial markings are completely different (Pallin's nose is also skinnier than the other turian character).

Pallin's chances of surviving Sovereign's attack have gone up a bit, I think. You know what this means? MOAR TURIAN NPCS. TAKE OFF THE UNDERPANTS AND THROW THEM AT THE SCREEN IN CELEBRATION. :D Pallin cameo for ME 3, please.

Ah, I concede the point to you, then :] I couldn't find any videos that were bright enough to actually identify the turian on the ship. Now I'm picturing Pallin and Shepard ending up in the same ICU after the Sovereign attack.

Shepard: So, humans are untrustworthy and Spectre's methods are too extreme, huh? And the turians are definitely the best, most reliable race, totally not going to sell you out to robot gods, right?

Pallin: ...

Shepard: *trollface.jpg*

Pallin: This is not conducive to my health.

And again, I watch another stupid movie just because Brandon Keener is in a two minute scene.
I regret nothing.

I refuse to allow that Pallin is dead. That totally ruins my fanfic that I haven't updated in like 8 months...

He's RETIRED! Or something. Yeah, that's right. It fits right into my plans actually, if I ever get around to finishing the damn story anyway - a perfect out that would still be canon.

Pallin was one of my favorite NPCs - still is even after ME2. A little more complex of a character than most anyway.

"You know what I could go for right now? A donut!" - The turian guard on Noveria is epic win.

Now if only I could have brought him a box of donuts, then all would be right in the world.

Pallin and Shepard ending up in the same ICU would be hilarious. xD My Shepard would bug him constantly. "Do you trust humans now? How about now? Now?"

My second favorite turian is Saren. The third is that store owner who says he'll name his firstborn after Shepard. :D After being killed, abandoned by the Council/Alliance, and being resurrected by Cerberus, that's just the kind of thing that would cheer her up.

Lilihierax (I guess those are the colony markings of turian Jersey), Septimus (hopeless romantic, and space Winston Churchill), and Etarn Tirion (Shepard Tirion would be the greatest turian ever) are my favorite NPC turians (though I admit a fondness for Lorik Qu'in, once I realized he was Sovereign things got weird). I always go through all their dialogs, even after beating the game several times.

If anyone's interested, I put together a graph of the LI poll results so far (link in sig). Garrus is kicking ass pretty soundly.

There is audio in the game that Pallen is dead.  I was listening to all the data-mined audio in the C-Sec hallway when you first visit the Citadel cause I like finding hidden dialogue.  There are files where the C-Sec officer says that Pallen is dead I just haven't found the correct situation that triggers it yet.

The conversation goes something like this...

[C-Sec Officer]  We got word from the C-Sec Executor's office that you should be allowed to keep your weapons.

[Shepard]  Thats surprising, Executor Pallen didn't seem to like me the last time I was here.

[C-Sec Officer]  Pallen?  He was killed by Geth in the Battle of the Citadel.  C-Sec's current commander is Dsean Chellik.  He said you tend to find trouble and you need to be armed.

[Garrus]   Chellik as Executor?  Safe, but not the choice I'd of made.

After typing this I realized this is probably the conversation if Udina is the Councilor.  All my runthroughs have Anderson as Councilor.

I have a playthrough with Udina as Councilor but I haven't heard that yet. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

If anyone's interested, I posted my Shep's version of Horizon. Right now, it's Shenko, but in later "logs," Garrus picks up the pieces.

Chellik must have been promoted significantly after the Battle of the Citadel, because Garrus seems surprised at his appointment and we know he stayed on with C-Sec/Spectres for at least a few months.

How do you say Chellik's first name there? Or is that a typo?

Maybe killing or keeping the council affects it too, or telling them to go to hades. There also seems to be dialogue if you ignore Bailey.

I just imagined my Shepard's adopted turian child meeting Shepard Tirion in the future. xD It would be the best team ever.

Also, I will never look at Lorik the same way again.

Shepard: Hey, guys, I got an e-mail from Lorik! Remember, the turian from Noveria?

Garrus: What does it say?

Shepard: ...It says, "I am the vanguard of your destruction." O_O

@shnellegaming: I've never heard that one before, which would make sense if it only happens when Udina is a councillor (most of my playthroughs would have Anderson as councillor too). Maybe I'll have to play evil Shepard next to see if this conversation shows up.

I liked them also, especially Li and Lorik ( I don't what he has to do with Reapers - can someone enlight me :) ?), except that stupid ass called Tirion. Rude, ungreatful SOB. I would like to give him Thane's mission interrigation treatment. >X(  I swear, the only Turian tha makes me cringe...
