I thought Zevran dual-wielded daggers? Anyway, I meant it was harder for me to believe that he would be an archer, since he only seems to fight like one in the cutscenes - or maybe that's just what he does in my game. I can definitely see him being an Assassin.
My Zev has Oathkeeper and an offhand dagger.
There is a Melee Archer, and I think Nate is one, but Nate doesn't do what Zev does for Aggro, hence the Assassin.

I forgot about Nathaniel's close-combat archer style. That could work. I usually think of archers in long-range combat, but I did play as Nathaniel once when my Warden died in battle and it was fun.

Yeah: Garrus would totally be the rogue assassin (or at a push, a duellist).

Reach.
Nah close combat isn't cool enough for Garrus. Long reach... I mean range, fire support while Shepard does his/her thing and draws enemy fire is more his style.

This would work great with my Assault Sentinel and Vanguard... unfortunately, my poor Shepards would probably get themselves killed standing still while I tried to figure out the squad commands. xDlovgreno wrote...

I love the Dantius Towers mission. Maybe it's just because I like salarians (and there are just so many salarians in this mission).

Then again, I haven't played Awakening yet, so I don't know what Nathaniel is like.

I dunno... Zevran charges into battle quite a bit. Usually to hit whatever's dealing the most damage to the Warden. So, I'd say, "Assassin," despite its overtones.
I went "d'awww" when I first realized that Zev did that. It seems to be an inbuilt tactic of his: nothing on his default tactic list makes him do it, and even if you put your own tactics on there, he'll still do it.
Not sure why you'd want to put a sword on him though: don't dual-wielding rogues usually do best with a crapload of Dex and dual daggers? I ended my first playthrough with Zev using a Rose's Thorn and a Dead Thaig Shanker, and he was doing more damage than Alistair (and that's taking into account the console Dex bug).

I havent dropped the iPhone for more than a couple minutes because of the ff. I won't be able to look at Garrus the same way anytime. It'll all be better from now on, as impossible as it seemed!!

Urdnot was a barrel-chested brute of a Cossack, his face marred by injury and his bristling beard lending an aspect of ferocity to his face.

for anyone interested in the Lovecraft style

Wow, Wrex has a beard?? I never noticed it
<---big Lovecraft fan <3
And as for what RPGmom said about feeling like there's something lurking after you after you read his stories, I second it. I only find a couple of his stories actually scary, but read "From Beyond", go to bed...and TRY not to think about the creepiness posited in the story. Worst of all, like the Matrix or Charon being an ice-covered mass relay, you can't possibly prove Lovecraft wasn't correct in his creepy assertions about what is REALLY all around (and within) us at all times.
Now Nitey-nite! LOL

Hmm...I'm not sure there's a class that quite fits Garrus in DA. If you go by his actual battle tactics, I'd say Assassin or Duelist, yeah, but weapon-wise, he'd be using a bow.

I like the swords?
Honestly, I think the reason we have so much trouble keeping Garrus from running out of cover in front of us is the same programming.

Have you read "Always Be There" by Kulkum? I really like it, although a beta reader would definitely have helped a lot, as there are some somewhat distracting sentence structure/typo issues. Still, it's one of my favorites. And there's a new chapter today, yay!

It might be nice when Garrus (and the whole squad) protect Shep, but it's better when we play "Snipe that one!". He always pisses me when he kills the target first (but he's a good turian and lets Shep shoot first. -wow, my phone's dictionary just corrected "turian"-), espeially when I've got it targeted and I'm about to shoot, but... Garrus is amazing anyway.
