Time for a catch-up post. I didn't even miss too many pages...

I'm not sure if turians would get tattoos anywhere besides their faces. We need more turian culture information (the Cerberus news is doing a good job though). I remember reading an idea somewhere in this thread or the last one that turian criminals could get face paint instead of tattoos, then keep changing the design whenever they change their alliance. I thought it was interesting.

Speaking of turian tattoos, I've noticed that there are certain colors I don't remember seeing in their tattoos - like red, orange, purple, and black - or maybe I just missed them.

Hopefully someone will figure that out for sure. The best guess seems to be that Shepard catches the squadmate in the second slot unless dying/reloading switches up the slots, but not much for who catches Shepard. I even checked the suicide mission guide, and unless they came up with something since I last looked... there's nothing definite.

But for some reason, when I was playing DAO yesterday, everyone was hiding behind my mage. xD

He's mostly a long-range spellcaster. It was amusing to see him and the enemy archer shooting at each other from across the battlefield and everyone else (even Sten) hiding behind him though.

I've been wondering, do you guys think I should make a thread for Dragon Age discussion in Clan V? We've been talking about DA a lot lately.

The Garrus plushie is adorable. And I can see both of his eyes. I agree, it looks professionally made. Great job.

Personality traits I like about Garrus... Collider already said them all, so I don't have to. xD

Greenish Black:



Orange: (Though admittedly, the first one could be the lighting.)







Black is the only color I def don't think they have. The greenish black from the Noveria turians is the closest and darkest we get.

Awesome screenshots. I've probably seen that light purple tattoo and just forgot about it. I always thought the Noveria guards had brown tattoos. I haven't seen the others though, and that red one is now one of my favorites.

What I'd love is if I could find someone with the art skills to like... transcribe (might be the wrong word) the tattoos for me. For one, it'd be great to show up to a con with the Garrus tat... for two... well... it'd just be cool.

Like I would love to see what the tat's look stylized, like the Nihlus/Councilor V one.
It's the same symbol that you see in ME1.

Dragon Age thread has been created! ...It doesn't need a fancy first post. xD

The tattoo for Nihlus and the turian councillor is one of my favorites too. I also like the color of their faceplates and their eyes. It works very well together.

I think Nihlus is just really handsome anyway. That's just my opinion.

Nihlus's coloring is pretty spot on. The red plating with the white face tat is a stark contrast. The Councilor looks like he could be one of those two toned plate turians, and his face also looks pretty weathered. It's nifty.

Plus, he's got a super sexyawesome neck.

I found out on my current playthrough that, with good camera manipulation, you can see through the turian's collar to the neck. In case anyone was wondering, the turian model has a head/neck, but nothing else. It's a floating head with clothes or armor, and I think the other species are the same way.

It's part of the reason why I think of their like... skin as hide instead. Is odd. Like little plates er scales almost. XD



Does it bug anyone else that turians don't have obvious ears? Or that really NONE of the other races have obvious ears, except for batarians?
