THANK YOU. I mean, the universe is just so fleshed out and interesting the way it is. It couldn't be too much of a stretch  to make a mod for a system that's already in existence, could it?

Good point.  Personal experience: I can attest to this. Ended up married to said friend, very happy, but yes. Much with the "you know I wasn't drunk that last time I said I was totally into you - or the time before" conversations.

Also, I will see y'all's "Garrus" and raise you a "Garrus".

You need to make a character on DAO, go to the character file nd the avatar for the DAO avatar will be under it. Replace it with an avatar of your choice (has to be 146x146 pixels and have the same name), then have your DAO character info update so the new avatar replaces the old one.

Thanks, I'm working on it...does it take a while to show up after you've switched them out? (because DA takes a while to send the info or so I gather?) Also what happens to my DAO portrait, is it gone forever or will the game generate another one

Yeah, it seems to take a while. (DAO stuff always takes forever to update) And it's gone forever, unless you change your DAO character's outfit in any way, then it regenerates and your custom icon is goooooone.

I agree. The game's been out for less than two months; there's no way they're releasing actual story DLC this soon.

...Which is just as well in my book, since my XBox Live is hopelessly broken, and I have no clue how to fix it, and if shiny exciting DLC came out and everyone else was squeeing about it, I would probably have to commit ritual suicide.

@stephi I remember someone in this very thread, a while back, saying they saw Garrus "cat-napping" against a wall in their game. LIke if you stand next to a wall long enough, he'll lean on it. I tried it, could never get it to work. Maybe all characters lean on wall sbut only certain ones...can't figure out where this is? Korlus maybe?

Hey, question! Did you all like how the Garrus romance subplot was initiated, or would you have preferred a different way to suggest a relationship with him? I seem to remember some people saying they were put off by how forward Shepard is about the whole thing. Admittedly, I think there are better ways to start a relationship other than "I WOULD LIKE TO TEST YOUR REACH WITH MY SALARIAN FLEXIBILITY PLS." Still, in some ways, I don't think he'd go for a relationship if Fem!Shep approached him differently. 

Sounds weird, I know, but...well, he was talking about how said "Reach and Flexibility" encounter with that turian scout helped relieve stress which in turn helped them both focus on their mission. Maybe he was thinking along the same lines in the initial stages of his relationship with Shepard, but started to realize that he wanted more from it as it progressed?

I honestly think if Fem!Shep suggested starting a relationship another way with him, he'd be pretty level headed about it and say, "That would make things more complicated than they already are, probably not a smart idea." This way, it appeals to his sense of helping keep himself and Shepard focused on the mission. He brings it up in at least one of the conversations that, no matter how it plays out, it'll help them focus on the mission by either: 1.) Successfully easing tension, or 2.) Being so horrible that fighting the Collectors would be a welcome distraction from just how AWFUL it was. 

But, again, as he digests the thought of being with Shepard, he says things like: "Special moments for us." "This is about us." US. HMM.

I don't know, what do y'all think?

You know, I'd been thinking recently, maybe some of Garrus's "tension" was of the sexual/relationship sort toward Shepard (I do believe her dialogue begins, "You seem tense.").  He does kind of seem to start flirting from the moment you recruit him as Femshep.  Femshep might have just been saying, in her very forward flirt, "Oh hey, Garrus, I noticed you suddenly seem to be attracted to me.  Wanna do something about that?"  Meanwhile, Garrus himself probably didn't even realize he was becoming a little more attracted to Shepard than just as a friend... maybe he told himself that a little flirting was harmless?

Your theory makes more sense than mine, though, because it's a very turian view on things.  Don't want to interrupt the crew, don't want to mess with the mission, gotta be relaxed enough to focus on the mission... Yep.  Very turian.

The offer is appreciated but I've never gotten the hang of forum (or even, back in the day, CompuServe or BBS) RP. I always feel like I'm writing a novella, or worse, when all my character would say or do is something like, "Nope." without explanation, I feel like I've let down the other players who did just put a lot of effort into their posts. I was sort of hoping for realchat or an MMO environment where there is great character customization.

I do, however, enjoy hanging out on RP forums to read! It looks like everyone is having a lovely time.

I could believe that. Why talk about his sexual encounter with that other Turian in front of Shepard? It sounds to me like he could have been hinting at something to Shepard. However he doesn't say it all. Like I said before maybe he thought that Shepard would think it would be a horrible idea or his Turian instinct told him that doing that could mess up the mission. Another hint maybe the thing about women liking scars. Maybe he just said Krogan women so nobody would suspect anything.

Well i agree with the above post, but since my main shep is a male and hes there talking about his sex life, i just hope hes just doing that because of the bromance i have with him and not because he wants to hit on me.
