secret. Frankly, I hope that whatever you do keeps you far away from
Noveria this time, but if you must come back and what is it, upset the
fruit cart, let me know and I'll clear a path for you for old time's
sake.

A pleasure as always,

I love his attempts to use human sayings

Yay! there it is :D Thanks for posting it!

@mariosonic: Bat-Garrus... awesome B)
@lady_vaguely: Looks great! Can't wait to see it finished! ...And once again I find myself wishing I could draw *sigh*

Oh, and as for the loyalty missions... I'd also space Samara if she started playing clean-up... but that's because I'm trying to train my people into goody-two-shoes land. I make them turn everybody in to the law (as long as they don't keep shooting at me or try to brain-rape me :P). Even had Toombs back down in ME & let me get someone to come arrest the scientist.

Heh. I didn't even know there *were* infinite points LOL. I just figured helping her was also helping Lorik because it would clear his name and kick the corrupt guy out. It appears I was wrong :P Oh well... I'll just have to deal with my free beer and lack of email *sigh* (well that or go play Me1 again hehe)

Someone posted a video of the ME2 Garrus meeting if you hadn't recruited him in ME1.  Not a huge difference, except Shepard greets him with a "Garrus Vakarian?" instead of just "Garrus?", and no "Just like old times" (obviously).

I would never even try getting through an ME1 playthrough without recruiting Garrus, but I also heard that if you turn him down both times he says something really cute when he confronts you at the elevator at C-Sec.  Something like "I'll just go stare at the wall, then".  Can't find a video of it, unfortunately.

I KNOWS!  Some people need clinical help.

Apparently you can skip meeting him in Dr. Michel's clinic and just continue right to picking up Tali (thus bypassing the need for Garrus), but if you do he'll run up to you as you attempt to leave C-Sec for the Normandy.  You get to ditch him then, too, if you want..but Y WOULD U DO DIS?!  :crying:

Hi everyone, newbie here. :) I've been sick to death with the flu and have entertained myself by reading this thread and its predecessors and doodling our favorite Turian. I don't know how it's possible to cram so much hilarity into one thread--and the serious discussion is nothing to sniff at either.

Anyway, as an offering, here (if I manage to post it right) is a partially colored picture of Garrus's head. It's part of a much larger picture that I've been trying to finish, but I'm afraid I'm going to fall asleep on my keyboard. So...yeah. Decapitated Garrus.

Incredible work so far, keep it up!

Gotta agree with the previous poster, you gotta be some kind of messed up to pass up any squadmate, especially Garrus, in ME1.

Just finished this, thought you guys might get a kick out of it-

Inspired by a conversation with a friend about Garrus stalking Thane everywhere, taking notes on how to be suave with the ladies.

I love that Turian.

Cute! And it looks like you had fun!

But... one fatal flaw.

Garrus does not need notes on how to be suave with the ladies. He does, however, need to calibrate less.

This thread is dead. So I guess I'll ask something to hopefully get some conversation going.

1. If Garrus had his own spin off game, what kind of game would you like it to be?
2. Would you like it to be a prequel to Mass Effect 1 (Prior to C-Sec or while in C-Sec...or both!), a prequel to Mass Effect 2 (Garrus forming the Justice League on Omega), or - assuming he's still alive - adventures after the events of Mass Effect 3?
3. If the game had romance in it, would you have Garrus be the suave ladies man we all know he is? (lol...?)

I would want a spin off game that could still read your original mass effect save files just so it can pull your Shepard out for some cameos. You know, like s/he would show up in vids, interviews, or maybe even flash backs.

Some kind of game that involves calibrating.

Post-ME3 calibrating. Garrus can calibrate different guns on various ships!

3. If the game had romance in it, would you have Garrus be the suave ladies man we all know he is? (lol...?)

I'd give him more than one dodge.

"Can it wait, Shepard? My Galaxy of Fantasy guild is about to raid. "

1. Not sure, really.

2. Omega! It would be neat if we actually had the chance to get to know his team. Then you'd be able to sympathize with him even more when they die. C-Sec could be interesting, but eh. I think his life as a vigilante on Omega has so much more potential. ...And please, nothing that takes place after the events of ME3. I'm sure that would screw with everyone's personal canon.

3. Ugh, I wouldn't want romance at all. A romance sub-plot during Garrus' trials in Omega would feel so out of place and unnecessary. I just want to see Garrus and his team kick ass together. If BioWare ever makes spin-off games that revolve around our squadmembers, I'd want them to leave romance out of the equation, especially for the romanceable squadmembers. ...Except for maybe Thane, 'cause you know.

I don't take credit for the following, but it gave me a good chuckle. For the record, I like Kaidan, but fun can be made at his expense :P

Imagine Kaidan being in a public place, possibly in a bar surrounded by his army buddies, when a news report about Shepard comes on.

He proudly states how he has a thing with her, and that they're gonna be together soon some day.

"Shepard, hero of the citadel, has become the centre of another controversy..."

Kaidan will laugh and say about how she's always getting in to trouble.

"...After it was discovered that she has been having relations with a Turian outlaw."

Everyone laughs at Kaidan and rubs it in. The Turians laughing about how how they have stolen Shepard from him.

Kaidan leaves without even finishing his drink, and he can still hear the laughter after the door has shut and he's walking down the street.

But even this exit brings no respite.

For several turians have followed him out of the bar, and continue to point and laugh at him, all the while pelting him with dextro-amino bar nuts.

They follow him down half the length of the Ward, picking up other bystanders along the way. The crowd starts to get bigger and bigger, and the harsh, flanging laughter of the turians is soon joined by the melodic giggling of asari, the snorting and wheezing of volus, and deadpan statements of derision and merriment from elcor.

"Ha ha ha, now we know why you humans almost lost your 'First Contact War' to us, after 'First Contact' with a turian your women couldn't wait to jump ship!"

"She left him for a turian! Goddess, a turian! How pathetic, I'd rather mind-meld with a hanar!"

"What a loser!"

"Earth-clan, I wonder how this was even possible." Wheeze. "Your mate thought her chances of reproduction better with a turian than with one such as yourself." Deep breath. "I suppose that means even *I* could try my luck, given the competition. Heh heh."

"Mocking rebuke: Your mate has likely deserted you due to your inability to satisfactorily pleasure her in the manner expected of a male of your species."

"Sarcastic offer: May I interest you in this genital enlargement program?"

They hound him mercilessly all the way to the elevator. He collapses inside as the doors close on their mockery, finally alone in his misery.

"This is Kalisah bint Sinan Al-Jalani reporting for Westerlund News. Tonight we'll be bringing you an exclusive interview with Commander Shepard and Garrus Vakarian, the turian with whom she is reportedly..."

Or not.
