It just would have made the most sense since Bioware would just have to change the textures rather than to model different heads for different Turian ages. Longer/shorter fringes or mandibles and all that...

Awesome. Now I know I'm gonna make my next Shep an Earthborn. She's gonna be miss super-Paragon! Yays!
Going to bum-rush an ME1 playthrough and see how good I can be, since I found being Renegade a little more difficult (I can be 'bad-ish', I just take issue with having to be a jerk to my crew to fill the bar).
Which reminds me- getting our new XBox Elite this week! *Happydances* Looks like our original Box went belly-up 'just in time'.

And I don't think the Lazarus project tampered with Shepard's aging process at all. TIM did demand that she was to be put together EXACTLY the same. However, she could maintain a youthful appearance even while growing older if she wanted to (to an extent, of course, she wouldn't still look 30 when she hits 80). According to the books, that kind of technology exists and apparently isn't an uncommon practice.

Garrus: Commander, I'd like to introduce you to my father.
Papa Vakarian: You!!! D:<
Shepard #7: ...I thought Garrus looked familiar. >_>;
Garrus: You two know each other? o_o;
Papa Vakarian: Never have I seen such disreguard for the law!
Shepard #7: Ah yes, "the law"...
Garrus: I can't believe it, I just... can't... believe it. *facepalm* You arrested Shepard?
Papa Vakarian: *mutters* Yeah, several times, and he got away. >_>;
Shepard #7: Ah yes, "biotics"...
I have no idea how he is supposed to know about the turian councillor's finger-quotes, since he didn't save the Council. xD

It's a fine piece of work. And I'd forgotten Garrus's loyalty mission shows him throwing Harkin around like a ragdoll. I guess we have a definitive answer to 'are turians stronger than humans'.

Eh, I was just thinking of it being a result of the project, not necessarily a deliberate implementation. Alternatively, what if the result was that s/he aged faster? SNAAAAAAAAAAKE! (sorry.)MarginalBeast wrote...
I imagine that Garrus is in the 27-31 range. Even though I doubt he is significantly much older or younger than Shepard, a confirmation would be nice.

@silentstephi - I will admit to hating that song, but I liked how the tempo of it worked with your video.
...and...I definitely lol'd when I realized you threw in the bathroom scene with the pissing Turian. I'm sorry if that wasn't intended...I just...it's the pissing Turian. XD

These forums exist to ask questions & discuss amongst the fans. Nothing you said or insinuated was crass, lewd, vulgar, etc. Some people are just overly sensitive, which I don't quite understand because this is TEH INTERNETS and you might as well quit while you're ahead if you're approaching social forums with that kind of "Ews! My eyes!" attitude.aynxalot wrote...
Brass_Buckles- I apologize for the TMI. I know I get a little over-excited at times, and don't worry, I fully realize these are fictionalized characters, it's just a game. For what it's worth, I don't think it's that ME has cause some of the people here to develop a weird turian fetish. I have confidence that Garrus' character would be just as popular were he a more humanoid looking alien, maybe even if he was human. It's his voice + his personality + his badassery. The appearance is just something that, while I don't find -un-attractive, comes along for the ride. I'll try to simmer down now.
We good? <

"Certain party members from the first game can be recruited in Mass Effect 2. Does that mean we'll see characters from this game make a return in ME 3?
You will definitely be able to see characters from Mass Effect 2 in Mass Effect 3, as long as they're alive in the end of your story. It's a challenge for sure, but it's also going to be a huge payoff for players of the Mass Effect trilogy to see what happens with all these characters and storylines started by the first two games."
After reading that I say no cameo for Garrus, we're definately getting our favorite Turian back.

Haha it was meant. Honestly, I like the song because of it's sound, and not really for it's lyrics. Seems really hippy to me. But for some reason, I couldn't get it out of my head for Shepard and Garrus, so I did my best to fit it.
So yea... peeing turian! XD

Long time lurker, first time poster here. I had to finally comment because silentstephi, I REALLY liked that video. I've always played Paragon, so I've never seen the scenes in which Sidonis is shot, so when it happened in your vid, with the music cue, I literally said out loud "Oh god, holy ****!"
I don't often like game music vids, so well done.
Woot! I got someone to delurk! /rocks out
Thanks ^.^ Yea, it's the option I usually choose for my playthroughs. I'm a dirty Renegade. >.>

(Sorry for the spam, but can't reply with all quotes without FF DERPing on me atm...)
Thanks and yea, I figure that scene was a nice way to show how much turians can put the hurt on a human. Still makes me wish there was a sparring match between Garrus and Shep for those who wanted to see that.... like me.

I also think it's worth noting that there are several Garrus-related music videos, but I can't seem to find any for Thane or Jacob. That's a bit telling, methinks (and a little surprising, honestly)!
Edit: p.s. Your FemShep is so cute!

Yeah, um, I think much much "worse" (if you even want to call it that) has been said in this very thread than whatever innuendo-laden thing you said. I mean isn't that the point of innuendo, anyway? To avoid saying something potentially lewd outright? Because then you might feel "dirty and clinical"
Also Silentstephi I thought you did great on your video! The part with Sidonis worked really, really well. Nice job.
EDIT: because "clincial" is not a word.

Future armor is all power armor, to some extent. Remember how the armor mods in the first game increased your melee damage? Shepard moves pieces of heavy machinery/debris like it's nothing at several points in the game (Zaeed's LM, end of the game when going to talk to TIM).Ms Cherissa wrote...

Believe me, I've spent a lot of time thinking about where turians fall on the physical attributes scale.
...for homebrew rulesets and racial bonuses. Stop looking at me like that.
There's a lot of info that can be seen either way regarding turian strength, toughness, stamina (ahem), and so forth. You can make a decent argument for damn near anything when it comes to them. We have less solid info on the turians than any other main species.
