I have returned from the depths of the lurking corner once more to announce that I had been working on a GarrusxShepard music video over the past week or so. And I finally finished it tonight so I thought I'd share it with you all!

Well done. Liked the various juxtapositions. And the emphasis in the middle on the "It's not you, either" line. And, of course, I'm a sucker for the catching-sliding-Garrus action in the end of the game, so...

YAY! I'm glad you like it! :DD

And yeah, sliding Garrus = instant love... Well, except when you play through the game for the first time and he's picked and you freak out because you finally get to romance him only to have that happen. Guh, I had more heartattacks playing ME2 than anything else.

I think Sidonis (if you went paragon) would be a likely character in ME3, since he does say he'll find someway to repay Garrus. Could be that he'll be a squadmate or he'll help you out in the final battle, or something along those lines.

I'd wager that Garrus is the next favorite character amongst men, behind Tali.  I hear he's a popular bromance option. 

As far as Sidonis is concerned, I'd like for him to have some sort of mention/role in ME3 but since Garrus's loyalty mission is completely optional I don't know how likely that will be.  I think the most we can expect is a follow-up e-mail.  However, he was part of Garrus's elite little group so he's obviously skilled at some form of combat...so Sidonis as a possible squadmate is not entirely out of the realm of possibility.

I find that very interesting as i am new to this fandom thing, although i find tali a bit boring but garrus is the man, wish i could make him second in command instead of miranda. but im worried about garrus' future in the mass effect trilogy because u know he could get shot in the head, swarmed by bugs, or fall into a bottomless abyss

I didn't understand the Tali thing either, but Kal'Reegar and the introduction of male quarians in general in ME2 enlightened me to the appeal.  If you check out any of the character polls on the forum you'd see that Tali is by far the fan fave in regards to the Mass Effect women.  With the male characters Garrus always seems to take the #1 spot.

It was the fans constant yammering way back in the Mass Effect 1 forums that got both Tali AND Garrus included as LI's in ME2, after all.    I hope Bioware is also taking note to the current yammering on the ME2 forums and brings back all of the squadmates for ME3.

Edit: Here's a link to the most voted on "Favorite ME1/ME2 Character" poll.  Tali is #1 with Garrus at #2.

wow, people really love the dextro amino acid based life forms, i wouldve taught that liara would be close with tali but shes way behind, and wuts wrong with jacob, hes pretty cool...i think, sorry for getting off topic. wonder what would happen if bioware cameod or cut garrus and tali for ME 3

Haha, yea, go figure since they canned the idea of Tali as a LI in Mass Effect 1 because they thought no one would like her "chicken feet".  I'm sure Garrus as a female fan favorite came as an even bigger surprise.  I heard it mentioned that they even altered little details in the turian codex from ME1 to ME2 to make the species a little more human-friendly for LI purposes.  Originally they were compared to as avian, but that reference has been removed (I think). The thought of FemShep laying eggs might have inspired the devs to switch it up, heh.

Jacob gets a lot of heat from the females because FemShep sounds like a tramp when she talks to him - it's not Jacob's fault, but we like to blame him.

I'm in the minority too. I'm a male. I don't understand why so many people like Tali so much though. I like her but not as much as all those people in that other thread, besides I always liked Liara better in ME1.

As for Sidonis, I think he should reappear in ME3 and not in a email. He should have dialogue. I don't want him as a squadmate though. It's not what Garrus would want if he was dead, 0% chance of happening though and if he was alive I still doubt he would want him fighting alongside him either. I wouldn't trust him either.

I'm just going to leave this here ... A WIP obviously. When it's finished the scouter will have glow, I'll have painted over the lineart and it will hopefully look good. Just wish I knew what I was doing when painting

I do love Tali. She is my fem-fave character (after my shep, that is. lol. Though Kelly is making a good imperssion....)

I think a romance with Tali shoudl be possible regardless of gender. After all, she does say Shepard is the only one she'd link suits with.

If anyone from Bioware with any clout is interested in what the fans think, then Garrus and Tali HAVE  to be in ME3! (that, or will be used as an emotional lynchpin to stir up our Repaer rage in preparation for the final fight. But seriosuly - if it came down to choosing the universe or Garrus, I'd totally have to choose Garrus. Not having him in my squad makes me sad.)
