For ME3, Bioware needs to add just some more dialogue for each of the characters and have more interaction between them. This is why the Normandy Bar should happen! In between missions you can walk in and find different groups of the team talking in there. You highlight them and then a cut scene occurs. After one mission it could be tali and garrus catching up and talking about the old team or one of Thane, Legion and Garrus arguing which one is the best sniper on the ship.Hell even Grunt could actually have something to chat about with Miranda;

Grunt: I don't understand

Miranda: Excuse me?

Grunt: Why would squishy humans bother to make a "perfect" human when a normal Krogan, let alone a perfect one, will always be the superior? A pointless effort. You are still squishy and therefore pointless.

Miranda: (dripping with sarcasm) you’re SO right, they should have given me your good looks and sunny personality!

Grunt: Yes, exactly...but I  would still be the superior.

It would give us players a chance to see how they interact and would be priceless if done right (Drunk Mordin anyone!?) Also I felt a little starved for more Garrus convos as did the players who went the male shep route. I would have loved chats reminiscing about past missions;

Garrus:"Hey Sheperd, didn't Cerberus bother making a new Mako? Not saying I miss those "fun" hours of driving through barren wastelands for minerals...but I spent most of my time in the cargo bay with that thing. Even if we never use it, it might be nice to have a new one on board just for nostalgia’s sake..."

Hopefully ME3 will spoil us with more conversations. The fans want it Bioware, MORE CONVOS PLEASE!

I do have a very odd desire to see Garrus drunk off his ass. >:P Drinking jack under the table. Loud singing (which BioWare already proved they could to right to hilarious results!) So, count me in for "Normandy Bar." Just have Joker have one installed on the Crew Deck, next to the mess area. Win.

I dunno if I'd really want a 10 Forward on the Normandy...  After all, Guinan's not going to come with it...

Okay guys and gals, I know I've been a really ****ty OP but...

I'm going to be gone for Spring Break from the 13th to the 22nd. I need to update the OP as much as possible before I go and then get the BB Code to pass back to Eradyn should this thread close while I'm gone.

Any help would be graciously appreciated, so please PM me with things you think should be in the OP.

Thanks so much!

I am not screwing Garrus. Seriously.

It also has femShep talking about Tali, Jack and Miranda. They probably recorded it, just in case. Still, I was like... wtf? Did I hear that right? lol.

It's the same with Thane and Tali. Some dialog was recorded, small part of it. The whole romance was never recorded, like it was done  for ME 1 and probably will never be. Sorry to be party pooper.

I can't open the file =( what kind of program do I need?

Seriously, if Shepard can't trust Garrus who in the galaxy can he/she trust??  :(Garrus betrayal? DO NOT WANT

This.
Out of all the people under Shepard's command Garrus is probably the least likely to intentionally commit betrayal against his superior officer. It's not even a matter of romancing him or not. The bond of camaraderie and trust between those two is simply too concrete for something like that to happen without proper justification - especially if you helped him deal with the Sidonis incident during the latest installment.
Unintentional betrayal would make some sense, but frankly I can't even fanthom a good reason for Garrus to turn his back on Shepard - short of Shepard attempting to kill Garrus first and/or turning to the dark side and helping the Reapers.

Everyone has their buttons to push, even Garrus.  If he did it would probably be blackmail of somekind cause I do think Garrus would die before betraying Shepard, romance or not.  It would be a good storyline though.  Garrus somehow betrays Shepard and either Shepard kills him(renegade) or finds out why and forgives him(paragon).

I was thinking the other day.  I want the romance scene in ME3 to NOT be on the Normandy.  I want it to be on whatever planet you find your LI on.  Like with Garrus it could be on Palaven.

Seriously.  I love the Normandy and all, but both love scenes so far have been too similar.  On the Normandy, at the last minute before heading through a special Mass Relay to uncertain death. We've brought this up in here before but I also hope that for those who currently have an LI, it isn't just limited to one scene, and everything else plays out as if there is no relationship.  It doesn't have to be a lot, but if they could just stick in special dialogue here and there or little signs of affection throughout the game to show that they are together.  Although I get the feeling that if you have an LI, it is not going to be smooth sailing throughout all of ME3 -- they will probably try to throw some roadbumps into the relationship to keep it interesting.

As for Garrus betraying Shepard.  Honestly, of all the characters he is the one I can least see doing this.  I realized a few years ago that in my mind, betrayal is the worst of any sin a person can commit upon another.  There's a reason Dante wrote that traitors go to the very lowest circle of hell.  Even though "sudden but inevitable betrayal" is way overused, it's still powerful.

BUT at the same time....I don't think I would stop playing or anything if Garrus did.  When I really think about it, having him betray Shepard would probably ellicit some of the strongest emotion out of me that a game has ever been able to do.  Movies and books have made me cry before; a game has never made me cry.  I read on forums a lot about people getting teary eyed in games (including this one) and I'm always kind of jealous (unless they are just being hyperbolic?).  I'm still waiting for a game to do that for me.  I've felt emotions while playing, sure, but never enough to bring tears.   So some weird, masochistic part of me kind of wants Bioware to do something terrible (either betrayal, or loyalty but with tragic death) just...to see if it works.  I wouldn't like it, but I certainly would never forget it.

Might hurt replayability though.

More likely scenario, if any of this "Garrus is more than he appears" stuff is true, is not that he's spying on Shep but maybe more just...on secret orders to help her/protect her/keep track of what's going on with the Reapers. She might feel slightly betrayed when she finds out he wasn't telling her everything, but since it wasn't harmful I think she'll be able to get over it.

If the spying thing was true I wouldn't be mad about it though. In fact it would be better for everyone. The Council would finally start to see that Shepard is not making up things and just the fact that they would be keeping an eye on him means that they know something is going on.

Hm, mine opened in Audacity.  And then there was much loling and simultaneous WTFing to be had. That is an interesting delivery right there.

Re: Garrus and traitorness.  It would certainly evoke an emotional response...but the fact that almost his entire character progression in ME2 revolved around the idea of revenge against a traitor, hello makes the idea of him pulling a 180 in ME3 a little hard for me to swallow.

I could maybe see Garrus making a Faustian pact with someone not so savory in order to protect Shepard, but then it'd end up backfiring on him or something. I'm not sure how it could work, but it could be done.

That was a great picture. I hope they do depict the romance more like this in ME3. I wanted to see what a Turian chest looked like, sadly ME2 doesn't have that.

Honestly... no clue.  I was wondering even if turians bathed, but since they sweat, I would think that they do... which makes you wonder... how they get clean... because... well.. it's an important detail! :whistle:

I mean... we can all guess why Shepard takes a shower before hand... still... I was like HAPPY SHOWER TIME?!... /awwww drat :bandit:

Maybe they set up a gutter system around the collar bone.  Little fountains shooting out from their chest.

It would be very funny if it did fill up. I wonder how he'd get the water out.
