BioWare shouldn't have to sacrifice character integrity in order to create drama. I can't imagine Garrus being disloyal, in any sense of the word. Frankly, I'm not even sure I want relationship drama. It just sounds corny. And especially considering that the romance subplot is usually limited to just a few conversations, I'd much rather have them be
enjoyable ones in the final installment of the series.
If they want to give us an opportunity to have something horrible happen to our LI (or our relationship with them), then fine, but it should be avoidable depending on the player's actions.
If ME3 makes me cry, they better be tears of happiness. I find that those moments leave a bigger impression on me in the long run anyway.
