LMFAO. I think this is exactly WHY Turians lost it. It will be the new Turian saying: Once you go human...:bandit:

lol, I think the reverse is probably true as well.  You know, once you find out whether or not the sex will require you to have an epipen on you or not.  Then you know, you're off to the find the nearest turian bar and- :o

Yeah. Epipen and a galon of lube. Lol. You know. Chafing.

This thread is fun. Others characters threads are somehow more boring. Maybe except Tali-ban video. Jokes, funny vids, comic stripes. Keep it up.

Er...epipen? Someone bring me up to speed here...

And for those curious about the sound byte at the end of this clip, it's from The Prodigy. Pretty good electronica group.

Don't mind the inflammatory title. Good stuff to listen to while you're doing something else, and my preferred choice of music while dominating as soldier in TF2.

Err, are there really people out there who don't know The Prodigy? :P

Hahaha! I laughed myself into a coughing fit, so thanks a lot.

Thanks for the nice comments on my picture! I pretty much finished it this morning. Here's a partial preview of "G-Spot" Vakarian and "Muffin Top" Shepard getting their crouch-and-stare on:

And here's the full thing on deviantART:

Oh yeah...I was too lazy to find a screenshot that was more than 3 inches high or showed his legs so...I just made crap up. Image IPB

Ah, it's a medical device for those with bad allergies, where they need treatment immediately or risk serious complications.  It's basically a shot in this small device, which resembles a pen.

Oh, and I never noticed until now how Garrus is like, already in the room when Shep comes out of the bathroom.  You don't hear the door woosh open....how long has he been in there?  Was he spying on Shep in the shower?!?!

You know what I really look forward to? People finding out about my Turian loves off of here.  Ms Cherissa and I are actually fiddling with the idea of making Turian suits we can go to conventions like Dragon Con in.. Now going around as actual Turians is bound to be awesome, but there are other awkward aspects

For instance I forsee family and friends finding out about this. It's rather difficult for me to hide my love/desire for Turians like Garrus. Eventually people are going to put 2 and 2 together, ya know? I'm sure at least some of you (especially artists) are going to have to deal with that too.

It's bad enough that this is xenophilia, and most people are freaked out by that. But add to that the fact I'd have a rather overt gay love for him and then.. well heads would randomly begin to implode around me.

It's all fine and good to obsess on here with fellow g-fans, but damnit all if I don't feel nervous about people finding out off of here.

Well, he is a cool character, but try to control the obsession levels around family and stuff. Here, it's aok, and it'd be cool at a convention, but don't  take it too seriously around family. Real life isn't like the internet.

Err, are there really people out there who don't know The Prodigy? :P

There's always someone, and I've been interested in music from Youtube videos before and have been frustrated to all hell when the author doesn't post the source.

Also, thank you to everyone who posted about the epinephrine injection. Informative.

Psshhhhh, xenophilia is awesome! It's about love man, LOVE! Can't believe anyone would hate on love, *sigh*. People are so easily freaked out it's a wonder they survive getting out of bed every morning. ;)

I would totally wear a turian suit if I had one or knew how to make one. That would be the coolest thing ever and I'd wear it with all the cheeky pride in the world. More power to ya for going after it - it's not worth it to worry about what other people think though. Being unique often means standing apart from the collective norm, and there's nothing wrong with that at all.

Luckily for me, my friends and family already think I'm insane, so it won't be too much of a problem! When they figure out my little, ah... crush on Tali... I'd think my friends would freak out more. My love for Garrus they could handle... I think. >.>

Gonna have to quote this pretty damn hard. I agree with everything, but still, it's only really the coolest thing ever if those around you can appreciate it. Otherwise, you're just that kid who's trying way too hard and kind of being an attention ****.

That said, do what feels right to you, just I'd think it'd be way more badass at a con : P

If there's ever a Garrus spin-off game, Omega would be awesome. :) I also agree that romance would seem out of place in that setting, and it's not just because my Shepard would be jealous.

Also, that thing about Kaidan being teased by turians and everyone else is hilarious. xD My favorite parts were the "First Contact" joke and the elcor.

My FepShep just did not talk to Kaidan at all in the first Mass Effect. He was kind of boring and I held out for Garrus in ME2. I was pleasantly surprised.

Now, Bioware has stated that they wanted it to be "very difficult" to stay faithful to your ME1 love interest, and I think they followed through on this. They've got the creative power to pull at your heartstrings through cutscenes and dialogue and such.

However, after Kaidan's outburst (not applicable to me, sorry Kaidan, but you ate fallout) on Horizon, how the HELL are they going to make him attractive again?  A yell-fest to me one e-mail will not undo >:C

I kind of worry that Garrus might have something written in that would be out of character (well, in my eyes) for him. Would hate to see him give the Horizon treatment or worse to my FemShep.

I was talking about how much I adore Garrus to my boyfriend of two years the other day, and how much I enjoyed the romance scene, and my boyfriend says something along the lines of, "If there were really turians you'd date one?" It made me LOL long and hard and reassure him that if there were indeed turians, he wouldn't have to worry because he already has my heart, but it was quite funny all the same.

I kind of hate that skippity-hop. The rest of the scene is cute and adorable and perfect, but every time I see him going over to the music controls, I just think, "WHY ARE YOU RUNNING? YOU DORK!"

After all, Garrus Vakarian only has two speeds: walk and kill. This jogging business is unnatural.

It's because, right then, he is a dork, but he's FemShep's dork.

I feel like the only person in the entire world that liked Kaidan slightly more as a result of the Horizon encounter. Nice to see he grew a personality in the interim between ME1 and ME2.  Same goes for Ash:  seeing both of them say "Teaming up with a sick terrorist organization? Um, no, you know what?  Not OK."  made me like them more, because they're standing up for what they believe in and not just caving in because Shepard is TEH LUV OF DER LIFE!!!11.  I thought it was especially in-character for Ashley, since she's so emotionally-driven.  Kaidan was a bit more jarring, but in a good way.  Maybe it's different because I watched those scenes without the emotional attachment of romancing them, but I was very satisfied.  I dunno. You spend a lot of the first game watching everybody kiss Shepard's ass and it's nice to see a change, and we saw it in the "dark second act".  Seems fitting.

That being said, such an encounter with Garrus would not make sense to me in the third game.  This is about conclusions, and conflict was more appropriate for the middle of the relationship. Garrus and all of the LI's need to focus on a conclusion in ME3.

I can appreciate this opinion. I'll have to rethink how I feel about Ashley/Kaidan. Still, it seems a bit strange to blame me for not contacting them while I was, well, dead.

My main Shepard waited for Garrus as well. :) She did think of Kaidan as a friend/comrade though, but she would have been more angry rather than hurt after Horizon in that "How dare you question me?" sort of way.

The two Shepards that did romance Kaidan and Ashley are the only two that will actually "cheat" in ME2, and that's because of the way they reacted on Horizon. If it was an option, I think one of them would have thanked the Illusive Man for setting up that confrontation to show her what Kaidan was really like. o_o; She has no tolerance for people who don't trust her. The other one would have been more shocked like, "I went against my better judgement to save you on Virmire, leaving the nuke open to attack... and this is how you repay me?" I only have one Shepard who was happy with his ME1 romance interest in ME2. At least Liara looked for him, and he likes the slight personality change. The only thing he didn't like about her in the first game was that innocence (he's kind of Renegade), and he probably thinks the mind-meld is what changed it. xD He wishes he had that kind of power.

I trust BioWare to not make Garrus do something horrible. D: I can't imagine Garrus acting like that with how much he trusted Shepard... Hopefully that doesn't mean Shepard will be the one to do something out of character to make him act like that. (What could she possibly do, destroy the turian homeworld? My Shepard would save Palaven over Earth and the Citadel combined.)

I agree with the Palaven part, but only if I could somehow save the Turian Council Member too. Dammit, I want some friendly recognition from him so bad : (

Plus, Garrus has already had enough near death experiences. Let's let Jacob or Tali get the figurative rocket to the face this time around, huh? *snerk*

I wanted that recognition from the Council. D: Some of my Shepards who saved them ended up wishing they hadn't, and my main Shepard was among them. If it wasn't a choice between saving the Council or something/someone she liked better, and just a choice of saving them or not like in ME1, I'm not sure if she would save them again... I guess it depends on how they act in ME3. I did see one thread that says Shepard should have an "Ah yes, 'Reapers'" dialogue option though, and that would be exactly the kind of thing my main Shepard would do - give them a taste of their own medicine, save them anyway, and then say "I told you so." Although, if she had a choice between the Council and the Illusive Man... he was the one who brought her back to life and acknowledged the Reaper threat, so unless he goes completely crazy with that base she gave him, the Council has no chance.

Yeah, Garrus and Shepard both had enough near-death (or death, in Shepard's case) experiences. xD I hope they survive the finale after all they've been through.
