Hi Everybody. My nick is Beo, and I'm anonymous Garrus fan.

Hello! Welcome to the mass of fanatic fans. :D

Once again, on the topic of betrayl, I don't know, it's not something I'd really like to think about. :crying:
Aside from that I basically agree with everything you said.

oh hai there :D

Loosing Garrus in Me3 in any kind of ways I think it will leads my Shepard to kill herself in the end because I can't see my Shepard to live without Garrus! So seems like no happy ending at all, and hell, it must be there one happy ending in Me3! Happy ending is not just making Shepard alive! I want happy ending for everyone in my squad (except Alenko xD I hate him, I hope he goes all emo and be just for once usefull and sacrifices himself instead of Shepard and Garrus so they can live happily together ^_^)
Otherwise this happens and I don't want such a life for my Shepard :crying: (yes its Vanderloo lololo) ( http://social.biowar...3/index/1658364 )
So yes if Bioware scr--- Garrus in Me3 for my Shepard I think he wouldn't last  with 1 more failure in a row in his life on his soul :bandit:and I think it would be really one big failure! It is Shepard!... "Must go right! Just once!"...mm okay...so no...no betraying from Garrus and seems like it is not a fling. He is srious man!:police: Only betrayer can be YOU!
options:
*joins Reapers*
*leave Garrus and back to Kaidan*
It is up to you /points like it was in Me2 :)

hey there! :) *greats another anonymous Garrus fan*
I think you'll be one of my favourite post writers as you can express my thoughts in words :)
lol, I have pretty serious problems with that Oo
and Garrus betrayal... that would be heartbreaking - so I hope this will stay only in our imagination as a bad nightmare ^^'

ps
I love nine inch nails music, lately I was listening to
'something
i can never have' - and I thought that it's sooo aboout Garrus. but. maybe its just me :>

ok. that said.. *lurks back into the shadows*

I posted that one too a few pages back, so I totes agree. It's just so sad! Posted Image Have you listened to Flyleaf's cover? 'Coz as much as I lurve Trent Reznor, the cover is really good, too. Also, "Hurt," on both accounts- Good Garrus-at-his-lowest song and excellent cover (Johnny Cash).
Back to Garrus! Um, yar. Going to be getting my ME fix again here real soon, so may disappear for a bit. =^_^= Also have another coupla fanfic ideas; not sure how I can make them work though. I'm so leery about doing anything that may turn out to be totally, horribly wrong from a plot perspective.

On a spammy, related note- I realized last night I can totally see BioWare pulling another Virmire for the very end and making you choose between your life and the life of someone important to you, maybe even (one of) your LI(s). You're inside a Reaper, being all BAMFish and wrecking its sh!te, then whatever happens and you can save yourself or said other person(s). O_O I would be so pissed. But I think something like that is not outside the realm of possibility.

It may be in the realm of possibility, but it's doubtful. ME seems to be more about heroics working out, not impossible choices, Virmire notwithstanding. I doubt they'll shaft us and give us a Whedonesque ending or a DA:O one.

That being said, if they give Garrus the Wash Treatment, his particular Shepard will imitate Zoe but successfully.

(Same with Kaiden and his Shepard.)

I keep coming up with Garrus conspiracy theories.... I'm sorry about that. I do have quite the oberactive imagination. Clearly the man and Shepard are destined to save the universe side by side (hand in hand), but I can't help but wonder....

TIM says Garrus dropped off the radar 'a couple of months' after Shepard was KIA, and Aria says that Archangel showed up 'a few months ago'. Now a couple + a few = maybe 6 or so months.... Shepard has been dead for 2 years. Where in the galaxy has Garrus been for the year and a half his whereabouts are unaccounted for? (clearly, somehow, accessing secret Turien weapons).

I've been replaying Garrus recruitment mission. How depressed does he seem when you first meet up? Shepard is super excited, and Garrus is just.... down. Awwww.

(It'll be OK , though. Cos Shepard knows how to take care of him. :) )

Yeah, add to the time disparity is that in Dr. Michel's letter, she hasn't been able to get ahold of Garrus for a long time.

Then again, the sliding timeline in this game is interesting indeed. Not quite as jarring as Dragon Age (which I've heard takes place over the course of a year, if you take into consideration NPC interaction, like Wynne at the Circle Tower) but still, interesting.

Well, the game seems to ignore travel time between star systems. I imagine it's instantaneous through the Mass Relays, but what about within star clusters? Gotta take days or months for THAT.

Maybe 'Archangel' showed up on Aria's radar a few months ago, but Garrus had already been on Omega for a while under the radar scoping the place out and gathering intel. /shrug

I may be in heavy denial.  No betrayal please :crying:.  I think most Shepards have had enough trauma without their most loyal companion pulling that out on her/him the last game.

Give some time for a temporary lack of direction and whatever event caused him to decide vigilantism was the best way to honor her memory and a little bit of travel time, I honestly don't think there's all that much missing time to account for.

Hello, I need to be in this thread - as someone who was desperately trying to flirt with Garrus way back in the first game.

I think that Archangel had to be operating for quite a while before he got big and important enough to be worth Aria's notice.....given that Omega is a scum pit, "minor incidents" happen on a daily basis.

So, a while to decide that vigilanteism is going to be more rewarding than C-Sec/Spectres - some time scouting the area, assembling a team, training that team, and working their way up into a big enough issue for Aria to notice....that'll easily occupy two years.

Yeah... Garrus is a badass, but he's new at it.  Aria's been a badass long enough for her and Wrex to have tried to kill each other.   It would have taken awhile for her to notice the barracuda growing in her pond when she's paying attention to the catfish.  (Yes, I know that metaphor is all kinds of screwed up, but you get the point.)

What I wouldn't give to reunite those two.  :D

IT'S JAZZ, BABY. IT'S JAZZ.

By the by, calling Garrus "Officer Vakarian" is ridiculously hot.

Actually, I don't remember anyone with blue markings, or their shape like that at all except him.

There's one. But it's more of the Blue Sun markings.
Look for the Turian sitting outside of the room where Tarak is in Omega during the ArchAngel recruitment mission.

Also, in-game screenshot-ish, here's the one of Shepard sitting next to Garrus in the shuttle (not sure if this been mentioned before or not besides the waterfall shot):

Christina Norman says...
Now that Kasumi has been announced, I can clarify that this is the DLC mission that I think will make FemShep fans very happy!

I dunno 'bout you guys, but the only thing that would make me happy is MOAR cowbell GARRUS.
Ms. Norman, I call bollocks.

@epoch - That's a devilishly stylish looking firefox you have there...

Yes it is.  But for a while here I hated it when people did that, because he's not with C-Sec.  He's not Officer Vakarian anymore. INACCURACY.

BUUUUUT Accordin' to the wiki he's now Gunnery Officer Vakarian. Not only does it still fit...I find that even hotter.:police:

With all the hullabaloo over Garrus going on from Mass
effect 2 I wonder what the guys at Bioware think?

Did they expect Garrus to explode (even further) on the fan girl radar than
they had planned?

Of course Garrus was a big part of mass effect 1 (He was on the darn box cover
and brought into 2) But as far as romance wise did they really expect this? If
you read the official strategy guide it claims Garrus is not a romance option
in the game.

 I always wonder if
any of the writers keep up with internet fads, fan art and message boards like
this and see what gets the fans wanting more.  Did they change their minds at the last second
and quickly added him in?

From what I am aware of they did not expect Tali to be a hit,
but once they saw how many fans she had they maneuvered around the plot just a
little to get her into a romance. (I guess her immune system and what not.)

Reuniting Wrex and Aria would be probably end of Omega...

At least previous space station didn't make it.

But lets return to Garrus and probability of betrayal:

Even when this idea appeals to me, I don't think it would be even slightly possible. I'm sure that Garrus may have some dirty secrets, yet as far I'm concerned, he would never allow anyone to harm Shepard. Not after saving his life on Omega, and helping him find new purpose.

Hell even if this would be way to infiltrate her second ship, then Garrus should already take some action against Normandy SR2, yet he didn't. We all know that he prefers to act than think.

Also, I think that during Shepard absence Garrus not only became definition of badass, but he also grown up. While in ME 1 he was almost asking for guidance in ME 2 he makes his own decision. Which we may only accept or try to prevent. He does not expect that we will guide him once more.

That's why I like Garrus character, it is not only badass. It is extremely well written.

HA it's funny and it's true.  Flinghood does not exist within the realm of possibility.
