I couldn't even handle accidentally killing Legion before reloading. I cannot watch Garrus die even for research purposes.

A good point. You are indeed wise. On my main playthrough, there is much love and life and laughter, and Garrus. But like the proverbial cat, my curiosity takes me to some unfortunate places. I have 'unlucky Shepard' for whome everything goes wrong! Even though it was intended, I was welling up when Officer Vakarian bid me farewell. (unlike Miranada who REFUSES TO DIE!) I think had this happened to me on a playthrough when I wasn't expecting it, I'd have had to turn the console off and go lie down for a bit. (feels so sorry for anyone who got that result on a 1st playthrough)

I'm actually planning a run where Garrus and Mordin are my only surviving crew. Garrus and Shepard can then float about in space for a while, with Mordin on hand to give them.... advice.

Slightly off topic: can anyone remember the link ot that 'Bad Romance' vid posted a few days ago, please? Been trawling through this thread and I think I've skipped past it....

Also, the firefox Garrus skin thing: kudos and good luck! Makes me wish I understaood firefox skins. :happy:

It's possible to do limited modding of the coalesced.ini file of the game (which besides letting you add casual wear also has some other rather disturbing functionalities.  You can get Garrus cuddling Grunt in bed for example *ahem* implications unsettling.)

Or there are already altered files for download on this page.  Just replace and go.

I know u have to edit the coalesced.ini file but which part exactly? I already edited it to give more guns to sentinels, adepts, and engineers, i dont want to re do it

That is sad. I did have him die on the suicide mission but he got carried off by a swarm screaming .

I watched the deaths on YouTube but I've never seen this particular variation .  I would have cried.

The only one who died on my first run was Mordin in the shaft.  He's not that kind of tech expert!  I was kicking myself.

I've done a few playthroughs now where no one died, but I always flip out when Garrus gets "hit" with a bullet but doesn't die. It's like they want you to worry yourself into a tizzy.

Mostly I think we use FRAPS, which has both a free and a for-pay or 'unlocked' version for about $37 (US). fraps.com is the website. Good luck with your machinima! (The term for making movies or videos out of video games.)

Does anyone know if there's a way to capture video from the XBox version of the game? I checked out that FRAPS site, but it looks like it only works with PC games. I have a couple of fanvid ideas I would really love to work on, but my having the XBox versions of both ME1 and 2 throws a bit of a wrench into the process.

Actually I love that little scene!  As far as I know the G-man is the only character who can get shot and live like that.  And speaking of Garrus-Shep physical contact, she runs over to him and actually looks worried and touches his arm and if you use your fangirl powers hard enough you can see a meaningful look exchanged between them

Same exact issue here.  That's why I was asking if there was a database to download from.  Though that maybe since masseffectsaves.com exists, some other amazing generous site existed with videos.  I am seriously considering, for pretty much the first time ever, just buying it for PC and having two copies of the same game, lol. And is it weird that, even assuming I *can* recreate my Shep's face perfectly on PC, I still don't think it will ever feel truly like "her"?  Like her little binary code soul lives on that 360 hard drive...

Speaking of which, @silentstephi -- thanks, I won't ask you to bother sending me anything for now because that's a lot of trouble and right now I'd be more needing to browse through different vids to see what I need.  BUT perhaps someday if there is a specific scene I know I want and can't find/don't feel like going back to record, I'll holla atcha?

Miranda gets the same thing.  I can only assume Jacob does, too.  No Meaningful Look, though, at least not that I can tell, even imagining the maleShep.
