Yeah, that aggravates me too.  I have no idea why BioWare chose to do that with Jacob and not the others. Maybe, maybe we'll get some kind of patch to fix that but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm not counting on it. I haven't found any post-romance soundfiles, so they'd have to record them if they want to fix it.

I hope they'll make up for this in ME3...

*looks at new GarrusArmor* ....I...this is so weird, but I think I hate that armor.  I'm probably going to keep with his busted one.   Shows how much I know, I was always certain that I would rather have anything than armor that is impractical like the broken sets.  And now I've proved myself wrong, and realize that I am indeed only in it for the pretty. Oh silt, you shallow fool.

I'm just hoping that if they ever decide to release a large DLC pack that features all of the squadmates in some way, then they'll record new post-suicide mission romantic dialogue for the characters that still need it since the voice actors will be there anyway.



Probably won't ever happen, but I can dream.

Yes. But.  I remember saying this exact phrase when I was talking to my friend about the idea of a Garrus romance in the Mass Effect games way back after ME1 came out.

I mean, me1 was equal in terms of the romance (everyone got the same amount of scenes) so why did bioware suddenly decide;

"Lets give one character more scenes, dialouge and closure than the other two LI's! That makes sense!"

 it was like they were saying that we chose the WRONG LI or something or that one particular relationship was more meaningful than the rest. I hope they do acknowledge this and fix it, but I won't hold my breath. Maybe it could be an addition with a DLC or maybe they give gar and thane an extra scene in ME3.

My mother instincts awaken immediately when Grunt is around. I want to hold him close and cradle him to sleep. "Don't be afraid honey... Battlemaster and Archangel are watching over you."

Grunt is the "little brother" for my main Shepard. xD It would have been amusing if they had taken him to a bar and bought him a dance like Garrus suggested, but my Shepard had a lot more fun with the krogan tradition (and much less awkward - Shepard would have been jealous if Garrus was watching a female dancer, she would only enjoy watching a male turian dancing, and then she would feel guilty for staring when Garrus is right there).

I think most of my Shepards could give their squadmates "labels" like little brother, etc. For my main Shepard, Garrus = boyfriend, Tali = best friend, Grunt = little brother, Thane = friend who has a crush on her even though she'll never notice, Mordin = the guy she goes to for advice... xD

are u sure this is a DLC? it looks like a texmod, I prefer garrus' normal and loyalty armor anyways

are u sure this is a DLC? it looks like a texmod, I prefer garrus' normal and loyalty armor anyways

Pop over to the DLC thread for full debate about its veracity, but the short version is
1) Can't be texmod, he's playing on Xbox
2) It's impossible for modders to create new meshes right now; Jack's outfit (and some details of Garrus's) is an entirely new mesh.
3) The guy also has the Hammerhead and has posted unique footage of it
It's much more likely that it's real.
