I'm not disagreeing with Jack's belt bra (apart from the slight promiscuity implications), but I think there's more protective things she can wear in battle. Though I think the bullet-deflecting powers go to Miranda. Or perhaps Miranda is more death-defying.
Quite strangely, I seem to love Garrus for the same reason as the fangirls, so I may as well have voted as "Female, Garrus". Well, I guess those are interesting thoughts on why he's popular with normal men.
Hmm, thinking about it, perhaps the reason Garrus is second most popular could also be due to elimination.
FemShepxLiara: It is pretty much female on something that's near female, something you see enjoyed by most stereotypical men and such. It is the most popular, so I don't know why I'm talking about it.
FemShepxKaidan: I don't think most males like Kaidan in terms of look or as a romance. Pretty simple. I don't like him myself.
FemShepxThane: Same as Kaidan, I guess. I don't like him myself, either.
FemShepxJacob: Same elimination process as the above two? I also don't really like him
FemShepxKelly: I guess the stereotypical men prefer Liara, or the fact that you get her earlier. It's not really a romance, and so on. I can see why it wouldn't be popular.
There's also the choice for a male who doesn't like any of the femShep romances, which is perfectly plausible. Some don't like playing femShep, or some don't like playing femShep and controlling her having relationships with males.
Therefore, by eliminating those all, Garrus is the coolest, most attractive, as you stated, "biggest bro", he's pretty manly (*pants*), which may be why males prefer his relationship with femShep the most, and might support and empathise with him more. I'm not sure, I'm no good at psychology, and I'm trying to use my own opinion, which to be honest is more as if I was female than actually male. It's interesting to look at polls, realise how people think, and then theorise on why those choices are made.
Cinematography is quite broad, there's so many interesting reasons and thoughts on why one decided to do this or such. It's an interesting theory. I myself can't think of anything too particularly reasonable thought as to why Garrus's armour is always damaged, there's too many ideas.
I think interrupting Garrus was a Paragon choice, and to use that Renegade option would basically be hypocrisy. I'd love to see Garrus call you out on that, actually. I think I interrupted him, if you could do that, but I did like seeing his... foot... pounding... down... and... pressing...
My curiosity in the magic folder is large, but I'm slightly ashamed to admit it. But could somebody screen out everything except the Garrus content... nothing else interests me, or may potentially cause me to lose my appetite forever, yet Garrus doesn't seem to do that to me.
Nevermind, I'll do it myself. Once I find somewhere to hide it, too.
