Yeah, I've been hoping that one would be updated.  I've been craving more plot-oriented fic (not retellings of ME1 or 2) with garrusmance as more of a subplot.  Modus Operandi was another one I really liked.  One of the factors I actually discriminate with now is how often and how thoroughly they quote the game.. because I've played the game three times, I don't really want an exact retelling again.

Though, I think part of the reason I keep browsing fics is because I  need a new ME fix. DLC can't come fast enough.

XD Despite what I said above, I still look through ever ME fic outlet religiously to find SOMETHING.  I need my fix!   If you haven't picked up the books (revelation and ascension) I'd recommend them, they certainly cheered me up while I read them.  I love learning about the back story and more minor characters in the series.

So, do you think bioware will notice all the "calibrations" gags and give Gar and other characters more dialouge for ME3? Just so that the BFF's won't be left out this time, if you don't romance Gar you get two conversations out of him on the ship , that's it. Why just Garrus? Who knows.

I've noticed a pattern though, Gar seems to get brushed to the side a lot despite the fact that he is INSANELY popular with both women AND men who play mass effect. I tried to look up a Keener interview for ME2 , they showed just about every VA except for him, even that C-sec officer..guy got to talk about his character. But then of course I realized that Gar was supposed to be a "surprise" so I understood why he wouldn't get interviewed.
 
So I look up ME1 interviews and yup, no Keener either. I'm sorry but the man deserves his due, not only is he a wonderful voice actor (hello, got women to fall in love with Garrus just by TALKING) he is also one of the most crucial characters in the mass effect universe. Hopefully we'll hear more about the guy in the ME3 interviews since it is likely the last one. So I guess its doubley (is that a word?) sucky that he was brushed to the side in terms of dialouge and romance scenes aswell (no post mission romance scene for anyone except Jacob bioware? THEY got to KISS AND TOUCH AND...AND..*chokes on fangirl rage*) ME3 needs more Garrus love, seriously.

Eh, it would be professionally unwise of him to turn down an opportunity for more face time.  I doubt it was his decision.  But they probably figured he wasn't a big enough name to merit press attention in the first game, and they didn't want to give away his role in the second one.

Spent a lot of time in the industry myself, and you'd be surprised at the number of people who prefer their privacy to fame. Nearly all of them know or have a horror story, though.

I think after a while they might have an interview with keener, and maybe release more garrus related material. Just hope. They actually made garrus's back story a lot more interesting then any other me2 squadmate.

I purchased one of Bioware's N7 hoodies and have not regretted it. They are superbly crafted, comfortable, and cost the same (if not less) than most name-brand hoodies I see in stores today. Definitely worth every penny.

Thats not to say you're hoody is any less of an accomplishment siltsonata; that is an amazing design.

Sadly, I am a lazy ass.  It is only a plain black Target hoodie with the designs added.  (A fact that is biting me in the ass now because I'm too afraid to rip open the arms in order to put stuff on there.  I might just leave it as is, since I'm afraid I'll ruin the whole thing if I even attempt it.)

That was...actually the reason I made it.  I didn't want to pay that much for the N7 hoodie, but I also would've felt bad making a cheap replica of something that Bioware was selling.  So I wondered what's more awesome than an N7 hoo-OMG GARRUS HOODIE.


But HELLZ YES I'mma wear this thing every goddamned day until it gets warmer. (So if you ever see some chick wearing this out in public....why hello there.)

Are you, by any chance, a girl?    I've been dying to get one of those N7 hoodies, but I'm petite and the sizes (as far as I can tell) are scaled to men.  Anyone have any idea if I'd be safe purchasing the smallest size??

On a similar merchandise note: anyone know when the Garrus doll is goign to be made available?  And can you just buy Garrus, or do you have to buy the 4-character set??

I just finished playing through a bunch of N7 missions... and one of them had some kind of glitch that made the game lose sound for a while. o_o; Taking the disk out and then playing the mission again fixed the problem though (there was no problem the second time around... the only thing I can think of is that I missed reading one of the datapads the first time around, but that would be a strange thing to cause it).

It's kind of sad that Shepard has to kill so many turians on her missions. I'm sure my main Shepard will just tell herself that they don't count if they're Blue Suns mercs, like Grunt doesn't count Garrus as a turian because he's part of Shepard's clan. xD Still, I think she finds it equally sad and amusing when using Slam.

I'm gay and gay for Garrus and any other sexy/attractive non-human, though I actually don't like other human men. I guess I could fall in love with a girl, if anybody's curious. Haven't looked in the folder yet, but I will relish it.

Is it just me, or does Rule the World by Take That make me think of femShepxGarrus?

I've not much time to look at fanfics, actually. I actually expressly search for smutty fanfics to make good use of my time, I may read the more developed ones if I have the time, but smutty ones filled with Garrus satisfy me more than enough.

Part Most of my attraction to Garrus is his sexy meat, though I do love his voice and friendship with Shepard. I guess it would be interesting to see a Brandon Keener interview on Mass Effect, though I'm not too fussed, to be honest.

Garrus hoodie is amazing, excellent work. I like it, keep up the good work. Doubt I'm going to see you around where I live in the hoodie, nor get the courage to approach you if I did.

I'm guessing some people aren't satisfied with Garrus's tender scene with Shepard right before the suicide mission. I'm wondering, if you could, what would you change about it? Just a few details, or a full fledged script.

I may do a script, but I'd rather not inflict/bore you all with that. Of course, you can still scroll past, but it'd still take space. I may just do it to satisfy my inner fangirl, but I may not post it here.

By the way, I've tried typing some parts of this with turian fingers. It's a lot slower and harder. Got to appreciate the turians, and also how Garrus takes so long to calibrate the machines, we take it for granted.

You buy the figures individually. 
...however, I have been considering buying the set of each series that is released. Except Sheploo. His figure looks weird. Like a...rejected Spehs Mareen.

Bioware really botched Jacob's romance. I mean seriously...does femshep have to talk like that? There were some good parts to his romance, namely him asking how Shepard was feeling and if she was okay. But all that is diminished by the rest of romance. And "priiiize"?

OMG that is amazing! I was thinking about doing the same thing too (though with standard armour since it looks easier to make, then use the pattern as a guide for the loyalty armour). I'm also in the middle of making a Stargate: Atlantis costume for a convention, so I don't have the money to try it at the moment [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/sad.png[/smilie] I was going to make a regular jacket though, since I'm not a big fan of hoodies. Where I live, hoodies are rarely worn by non-emos.

That said, I did purchase the N7 hoodie. I just couldn't resist.

@Tootles - I'm a medium womens/small mens in t-shirts, and the small hoodie is HUGE on me. It's really baggy and the sleeves cover my hands completely! there is a gap between the end of the stripe and the cuff, though, so it can be altered without messing with the design.
