I was not bothered by Kaidan's tantrum on Horizon. I thought it was perfectly natural for him to act the way he did. In fact, after that scene, I looked at Kaidan's picture in Shep's cabin and thought, "You know, Kaidan's not so bad. Sorry Garrus, maybe some other playthrough." Then came the e-mail. It really rubbed me the wrong way. My main Shep deserves better...So, hey, Garrus. I'm feeling a bit tense. Wanna help me out with that? Unexpectedly, this became my most favorite romance of any Bioware game.Gerse1 wrote...It's not like the conversation ends with "we are just taking a break" and the email does not count. You want someone to wait for you while they're going through hell, you gotta do more than send them a text.

Doing my 3rd playthrough right now, and I highly recommend (as mean as it sounds) bringing Garrus with you to the quarantine zone to pick up Mordin. Not only does he make a couple cute comments, but Mordin has some unique things to say to him in regards to it being "unlikely" that a turian would work with a human due to (AHEM) "tensions".
