Who else has seen the comments some **** left under the Reach and Flexibility vid on Youtube calling the Garrus romance 'beastiality'? Damn, I about blew a gasket. Luckily, plenty of other people had already ripped him up one side and down the other about it but it still has me steamed.

You read the youtube comments?  Rule No. 1 of the internets, NEVER READ THE YOUTUBE COMMENTS.  They show the darkest, vilest, most hopeless face of humanity and should be avoided at all costs.<_<

You should post all your finished crafts on deviantArt ;)

When they're finished, indeed I will.  Until then my friends keep interrupting me and trying to get me to have this thing called a "social life".  What is this I don't even.

If you'd put a tutorial up on the hoodie, I may decide to try and get off my arse and try my crafting hand at it. And fail miserably. Biggest memory I have of my sewing fail was when I had this sewing tutorial set, and one of the designs was a dolphin. I ended up making some blue goldfish-thing. I guess it wouldn't be so bad this time, but I'm slightly unsure.

Some youtube are quite humorous, actually. Though sometimes there's those really scummy ones, though. I guess your point is 75% right.

Don't worry, you don't need a social life, you have us. Join us, or some other really cult-y cliched saying. Whatever, I don't really have a social life, but I guess I'm still talking to you all, which is a social life of sorts.

I'm probably the youngest here. So I'll never be able to hit it off with any of you girls. Shame, it'd be nice to be in a relationship where we'd have one... deep similarity.

Garrus merchandise, home-made or not is all awesome.

aynxalot's fanfic made me interested in writing how I'd like the interlude to be for me, but I'm worried about stealing her thunder.

YESSSS.  I don't use firefox much but when I do...GARRUS.  Awesome.  Thanks!

(...Plus when other people use my computer, they usually go directly to firefox.  I look forward to my friend's EPIC FACEPALM when she sees it.  She's slightly bewildered by the whole GarrusObsession thing.)

So cool. I'd try it, but I use google chrome, and for some reason I can't really use Garrus themed stuff. I tried having one of his pictures as wallpapers for a while, but I don't know... It's kinda... "overwhelming" for me.

And good work on that Garrus themed sweater! I wish I had inherited my mom and grandmother's talent for clothe-making...

In any case, just like with the wallpapers, I've always had trouble "customizing" my stuff with things I like. At first I tried buying t-shirts of my favorite bands, but I couldn't find them anywhere. Now I just don't care. I've been wanting to paint the Black Mesa logo in my favorite art folder for ages, but I just don't care that much anymore.

I did, however, manage to make a stencil of a turian to paint it in one of my sketchbooks:

Almost forgot about that... I don't think I posted this here anyway, I did it last summer and I wasn't around this forums back then (well, technically I was registered, I just left for a looong time)

You may want to move the search bar over. Just right click to the right of it and press customize. Then drag and drop spaces from the pop up box to the right of the search bar and the bar will slowly work its way over.

Oh, the turian stencil is amazing. Any way you can make it available? I'd love to have if, even if I can't think of anywhere to use it without getting a funny look. Just for keepies. Anything about a hoodie template, siltsonata? I may be slightly embarassed to wear it, but I'd love to have it, or maybe wear it once.

I've been using the Garrus persona for a while, and I love it. I've used spaces to move the bars around a bit, though I don't understand how the flexible space works. It would have been a lot easier.

Um, anybody interested in me writing my rendition of the interlude?

As far as I'm concerned there is no such thing as too much Garrus.  If it's something you're interested in writing I say go for it.  I'd read it.

Posted Image Pfffft- don't be! There have been lots of fanfics posted on here, and several I think are quite excellent- better than mine. And there are also plenty of "after the fade-out" fics that are awesome and all do it their own way. There is no such thing as enough Garrus.

Write, boy! Write!

I've been using this as wallpaper for now.  He looks like such an epic badass with his helmet on.

I'm in full support of never being enough Garrus. I think I've pushed that quite a bit, already. I was just worried about aynxalot's thunder being stolen, but if she's alright with it... then I guess I'll try. I particularly don't like offending people or making them feel bad or annoyed.

I'd love to get those templates, both the 2d turian, and maybe even something about the hoodie. I'd worship them both. And try using them. I'll try to promise I won't fail with them.

I love that wallpaper. The helmet really does look sexy on him.

Curse you Flammie, you have reawakened an old obsession of mine. You mentioned that you think you're the youngest here, I've always liked comparing ages in chats and stuff so now I'm curious. What is the age of an average Garrus fan? I'm 18.

If you're not comfortable releasing your age on the internet then I'm sorry if this question seems intrusive, I'm fine with giving out my age but I will never give out my first name.

Allright, I found it, and scanned it. I've also been checking the dates, and I think I actually made this way before summer. So it's been sitting around for a while!

http://img.photobuck...rianstencil.jpg

It was a one-time thing, as you can see it's made on a solid paper because I had no plastic at the time. It was kinda improvised. I'm sorry for the quality, I would make a better template if I had time.

Also, how do you guys post a small picture that links to the bigger size? I don't want to accidentally margin-rape the forum.

[ url= insert image address here] [ img] image address [ /img] [ /url]    minues the spaces
EDIT: yeah, what siltsonata said.  posted images resize.  just add the direct url to make it a link

@bushes - I'm 26.  I think I'm pretty much right in the middle of the ME age spread, from what I've seen at least.

I think the forum might automatically resize the image. Then just make the image a link to the original? (not sure, but I think this would probably work.)

EDIT: ages- As I mentioned before, I'm 21. I keep getting the impression that I'm on the a bit on the young side of the majority of this thread.

My Shepards all have their own version of a happy ending in the far-off future, so however ME3 ends, I'll just fit my own version in there somehow. xD Somehow, I doubt Shepard #14 will be able to conquer the galaxy in-game, or Shepard #7 will be able to have a lifetime paid vacation (but after defeating the Reapers, he really should).

aynxalot wrote...

My very first playthrough, back in the day, I was very not fond of Nihlus. I don't know, maybe I felt easily pushed in that direction by Joker's comments, but anyways....latest playthrough, was super-nice to him, he was super-nice back, and it actually made me sad that the "many missions together" would never come to fruition.
The Turian Councilor, on the other hand, is still too much fun to mess with. The whole Council, but him in particular, because you can do -no right- by the guy. If I had no heart I would have killed the Rachni Queen just so I could call him out on his "genocide" dig at me. "Depends on the species....turian."

What is this about "many missions together" with Nihlus? D: My Shepard must have been too distracted by how awesome he looks to hear this, or she would have been jumping for joy.

I don't think I'll ever be able to hear Shepard's genocide comment either. Even my most evil Shepard wants a rachni army in ME3. Krogan, rachni, geth, killing off the Council (and hopefully Udina), Reaper study, world domination plans... he's the one who's turning into Saren/Sovereign.

Cerrydd: Adorable. I expect action was taken against the shiny family bonding?

@bushes289 Of course, I'd expect to be asked if I talked about it, I guess. Well, I'm younger than you, definitely. I'm 15.

To be honest, it's not as if you're going to be able to track me because I gave a number, so I'm not that uncomfortable with giving out age, most of the time.

Nissun, I love you. Now to somehow get that picture printed off so I can use it.

There should be a thumbnail-link available for your picture if you're using photobucket. Otherwise, perhaps a URL link on a thumbnail image (that should at least be available) linking to the whole image.

Hmm... Perhaps I could use the template in a D&T lesson or something.

Okay, I'll try and see if the forum resizes the image. If not, expect a big "whoops."
(apparently, it worked)

Also, do any of you think Shepard (male or female) has tattoos? Being an alliance soldier, and all that, I though it may be possible after all. Then I thought it would be cute to write a fanfic of Shepard considering getting Garrus' name tattooed in turian characters, or something like that.

It's silly, I wasn't really going to write it. Just, you know, kinda cool. Also got me thinking for a while about what kind of body modifications, besides facepaint, turians could have. THAT is interesting to think of.
