If that ever becomes a reality I will buy it without second thought.
Though if they haven't even considered it until now, it'll probably be a long time before we get anything like that, if we do at all. Still, I'm shocked (and pleased) that they're even considering it!
I think that ME2 needs one more than DA:O. The romances in the ME series are far less substantial.
I would buy it, if only to see what is the closures for Garrus' romance. Was it an akward interspecies thing? Or was there antything at all to begin with? Or was it mind-blowing?!

Cat with a toilet seat on the neck... oh dear.
And the romance pack... Damn, I would immensely love that. It'd be nice to have a bit more substance to Garrus's romance.
And, I guess we'll have to wait and see how Bioware will tackle these romance packs, if they are going to be done.

Am I the only one here whose spouse is ridiculously jealous of Garrus and all his heat-sink popping glory? I mean don't get me wrong, it's a totally valid feeling. It's Garrus after all. But it stings a bit when the hubs tells me I ruined bromance with Garrus forever.Ugh, you husbands are all racist!
He also hates Alistair. I can't imagine why.
We're not married yet, but we are engaged. I'm 25, he's 27. And no, he's not jealous at all. He doesn't understand my love for Garrus, and he's stated many times he really doesn't understand how I find Thane gorgeous, but he doesn't care. He has his own cartoon/digital girls (including Tali, though he's not obsessed with her) on his desktop, etc.
Except for the whining, Alistair reminds me a lot of my guy, with the little terms of endearment, his willingness to help at all times.. I've told my guy that's one reason I adore Alistair, so that may have curbed any potential jealousy there
Seriously, though.. neither he nor I see any reason to feel envious toward someone who doesn't actually exist.

I don't recall anyone here saying they wanted to marry him.
(For future reference, you might also want to avoid the whole "crazy fangirl" thing too, even if you were joking. People sometimes tend to get touchy about being labeled as crazy.)
uh actually about a couple pages back........
Not that I saw. Unless you're referring to my tongue-in-cheek comment about being jealous of his wife for getting to listen to him talk all the time. Which is decidedly not the same as the stereotypical "crazy fangirl" ZOMG HE'S SOOO HOT I WANNA MARRY HIIIIM!!!1!
Anyway.

I would explode from utter glee if they ever actually made that. And I would pay epic amounts of money for it. Driving a space car around or shooting yet more bad guys is all well and good, but developing your relationships and getting to interact with characters further is where it's really at, in my book!

yeah... sounds like something I don't feel like blowing cash on (blue ftw)
Garrus is cool, but I'm not gar for him...

Since it's about ME 2 romances sooo my guess would be "no" or "another email". But I won't hold my breath for ME2 either...Maybe this interview was testing waters on how many people would be interested.

I might sound a little cold here, but eh.. oh well if they do ignore them. Can't help it. I wanted Garrus in ME1 and I want more of him now in ME2. And I would gladly pay for it.
I'm still bitter about having only one male option in ME1. I don't hate Kaidan, but I could go through the rest of the ME universe without seeing him again and be perfectly content. And don't get me started on Liara's omghawtlesbiansexforteenagemales role.

Did I already tell my age? I can't remember :S. Anyway, I'm 22, female and I live in the wonderful Holland.
Romance pack: YES PLEASE.
Cat with a toilet seat around his neck: lol!
Brandon Keener: maybe the sexiest voice I've ever heard.
Uhh... yeah, that's it for now. Gotta do the dishes.

Being Crazy: Comes with being a geek.
Though to cont the thoughts on the romance pack, I wouldn't mind if it had some things to expound upon either the ME1 or ME2 romances. Sure, I'm in the camp of 'Waaaaaaaah why isn't Garrus smoochable in ME1?! oh all right Kaiden, commere....' but the more dramaz I can foster between the ME1 and ME2 romances, the better.
What... it'll be fun!

Absolutely, I totally agree. The idea that I once got in my head and still can't get rid of about DA:O being zoned in on female gamers and ME not quite as much pops up... Would love to see where Garrus and my Shepard end up with each other, preferrably yesterday

. Oh well. He took Garrus on his squad in his ME's playthroughs. He said he did it for me. (Why? I wasn't watching him play
). He romanced Ashley in ME1. I was like... wut? Maybe because she and I kind of look alike (sure, maybe after 10 beers). He romanced Miranda in ME2. Guess he's not into interspecies relations like me ^^.

Oh dear lord. I want every single Garrus object you have. Give it to me. Now.
Maybe because when he had Garrus on his team, he thought of you?
Eh, I live in England if anybody's curious. I think the Garrus love population here is empty. *sigh*
I tried looking at it out of curiosity, but does anyone here think turians can cry? A rough search wouldn't give it to me.

It seems feasible that if you romanced Liara, you could visit her on Illium and have a nice long heart-to-heart talk (which should have been in the game in the first place, but oh well). Something for Ashley and Kaiden might be much harder to implement smoothly, especially considering the fact that they need to keep in mind continuity with ME3.
It would probably be simpler to keep any relationship DLC restricted to ME2 characters, as unfair as that sounds. Hopefully Shepard will get an epic reunion with them in ME3.

I'm 26 and my husband is 28 (our taste in games does not overlap at all BTW.) The last in-game romance he was aware of was Kaidan because back then we were in a 1 bed apartment and I was playing it on xbox 24/7. I think his words were something along the lines of "God what a ****." Poor Kaidan gets no love--I liked you! Since then, however, I got a new rig and switched over to PC. Now Garrus in all his heat-sink popping glory is my own dirty little secret. Bwahahah.

Shep by callingmeher his priiize?
Poor Jacob. I actually like him alright it just took me two playthroughs to finally get up the motivation to finish all his conversations and without my Shep getting all sleazy on me (that was a conversational minefield.) Advice, use a lot of neutral and some renegade options, never compliment him on anything. Brohug FTW.

Sweet fancy Moses, why do you have to give me hope? I'm all ready to resign myself to the idea that the DLC will be entertaining but not particularly desirable and call the 'Romance Pack DLC' people unrealistic and you throw that at me. Damn.Xalena wrote...

Bioware better not be exercising their Master Troll status.
I don't have a boyfriend, but I did convince one of my male DND buddies to play Femshep to romance Garrus. I'm pretty restrained in real life, but my other ME-mainlining friend once told me that I was awfully obsessed with turians (I'd called Lilihierax my favorite NPC turian). I asked him if he'd gotten around to romancing anyone but Tali yet. "...no."

That might be best for the inevitable expansion or even ME3.

The best comment on that article is definitely "What's the point of giving Shepherd a vehicle if he's NOT going to be picking up more chicks?" Or maybe the "Krogasm" one.Xalena wrote...

I'd love more Garrus content but It feels wrong to shaft the Ash/Kaidan romance (somehow, I am not worried about Liara...her romance content could be implemented seamlessly into ME2, imo).
So...if they made a "take Officer Vakarian on a date" mission, what would you want it to be like?

We're starting to get used to it.
No, but really, it might be better to save patching up the ash/kaidan romance for the expansion or even near the beginning of ME3.
Would personally like it to be in the expansion.

I'd have a tough time passing up Elcor Hamlet....but I think I'd love an awkward approach from Garrus toward some kind of dinner and a vid deal leading to more awkward "throw me a line here Shepard" banter only to be interrupted by some such dire situation inevitably leading to blowing shyt up. Now that's romance.

I am 23, My husband (28) says he is not mad at Bioware or Garrus for warping his wife's mind because I 'picked' Dr T'Soni last time.
Oh man romance pack... I am not going to hope for it too much because it seems too good to be true

Interesting question. My first instinct would be to say no, but quarians and asari can cry, which I really wasn't expecting. Turians can sweat, which I also wasn't expecting. But, Bioware may just be tossing human qualities out there to make them seem more human/relatable. Are humans the only animals that can cry? I think some monkeys can, and let's not forget the phrase 'crocodile tears'...Flammie wrote...

So there's evidence either way.
Date? I feel like it would go...something like this. (1:53-3:49)
