Now that's romance.

I wouldn't mind a personal sniping lesson myself.

I would like the date to begin like a normal date. Shep and G would go somewhere nice and romantic, maybe even the theatre like in the comic above, but then bad guys show up and they have to fight in their fancy clothing!! I think a classy theatre would be quite fun to fight through Red velvet seats, scenery and theatre boxes! And in the end they make out on the stage surrounded by the dead bodies of bad guys and ruined scenery.

*cough* That's my idea of an ideal date^_^

Hah yeah I see them doing this for Garrus.

During the date he is stumbling over his words making himself look foolish (in a good way!) and embarrassing  himself... but once the bad guys come in he goes into "Garrus" mode and begins kicking ass the way only he can. shepard then can proceed to melt in his hands.

Also: Typonese is the only truly universal language. I have become fluent in it.

Married, USA, husband prefers super heroic games (and Tomb Raider) but just started ME1 and DA:O, liking both. He's doing his KotOR and KotOR II playthroughs so we'll be prepared for SW:TOR when it comes out (like, I am so there I am furniture).

He knows I think Wrex is a sexy beast but I haven't said much about Garrus, besides, "God I hated him in ME1, but in ME2 he turned into Batman!" because I don't want to spoil anything for him. He tolerates my video game crushes as I tolerate his. I know he fancies Lara Croft (and yeah, I admit I'd be gar for her) so he can put up with my love of the Krogan Battlemaster God.

I really can't imagine Garrus and Shepard going on any sort of romantic date. Hm. Actually, I could see them going on "dates" just to spend time with each other, but not overly romantic "candlelit dinner" types of things.

Well, it'd be interesting to see a fight during the date. What'd also be good, I realise, that unless for some crazy reason you decided to take somebody with you on your date with Garrus, then it'd just be the two of you in battle.

Wallpapers are screenshots, Garrus Firefox theme is made by epoch and can be found some pages back (he posted it a couple of times) and the ringtone is from the ME2 soundfiles. Someone shared a download link for it, it can be found in this thread. Sorry, I'm too lazy right now to look for it .

A date with officer Vakarian? I'd let him decide where we go and what we're going to do. I would love to see what he considers 'dateworthy' .

This, but there is fun to be had in the speculation. My own speculation is a walk somewhere pretty - Virmire or the Presidium maybe - with hand-holding, stopping somewhere that doesn't say "SCENIC VIEW" to catch the hidden scenic view and munch on a light pre-packed meal (his and hers lunchboxes optional). Probably something inexpensive, too, like the MEverse version of Subway (sandwiches on a torpedo roll), cuz even though they have money for and from missions, Garrus seems the type to spend out of his own pocket. No pressure to be 'on' or 'all prettified' for anyone but themselves and each other.

If my FemShep were the one planning the date, it's be a waterslide park somewhere warm, cuz there'd be food there they could both eat and it would be WAY WAY fun. Also, Garrus, under a warm sun, all swimtrunks and covered in glistening water. Take THAT, Emo Edward Cullen, turians can 'sparkle' better than you.

If my Shep would take him on a date, it would'nt be romantic. Take him to a pub with a karaokemachine, have too much to drink and end up dancing and singing the night away.

Well, Garrus did buy wine on his own salary.



I could see Shepard and Garrus, only them together without an interfering third member, kicking ass and bonding at the same time. Obviously that wouldn't have been the main focus of the date, that'd be pretty dry. But they could laugh and joke about it being a good way to be closer with on another.

Eh, I don't care as long as I can spend time with Garrus and not have it be some sort of rip-off.



I'm sure restaurants cater for all races' meals, even if they don't expect two different types to be ordered in the same sitting. Worst comes to worst, as Ms Cherissa said, they can bring a packed lunch.


Talking of Ms Cherissa, you managed to talk to Grunt about that, and survive?

How about being locked into an extra-reinforced straitjacket, locked in a room forced to face forwards, and watch as Sialeter makes out and makes love with Garrus, whilst Garrus doesn't seem to object?
