You're welcome all.  I aims to please.

Wooo!  That's awesome.  I always find listening to these kinds of files and wondering what it's like, the life of a voice actor.

VDirector: "Ok, so we need you to sound like you're getting punched in the gut.  Repeatedly. GO!"
VA: "Ok." *many groans later*
Replay.
Uncomfortable silence afterward.

Must be one of the things VA's have to get over initially. XD  Cause man, the sounds of running for your life and having fun start to blurrrrrr...

Yeah... ow. ouch. awww. ooohw. auw. ooohw. ahh.

The screams from the mercs are very funny too. You know, the whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh when they're on fire.

EDIT: Forgot to mention Garrus at least once. So: Garrus.

Not Garrus related but fuggin hilarious:

Yes. That. But there are tons of different screams, male, female, Eclipse, Blue Suns, Blood Pack... when I put all of them in a playlist and listen continiuosly (or however it's spelled, I'm too lazy to look it up) to each and every one of them, I keep lolling. It must be loads of fun being a voice actor.

Joker gets off on women stuck in walls.  Porn in the future has many very-specific niches.

It's supposed to be full sensory.  Open it up and it screams at you continuously.  "WHOAAAAAAAAAA WHOAAAAAAAAA  WAAAAWHOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAA"

Haroom.....I'm on my "ideal" playthrough, and noticed that Garrus said he went back to C-Sec -after- the Normandy kersploded. But he wasn't on the Normandy so far as we know, so...eh. It would be no big deal if I weren't so friggin' type A and thinking "Oh noes! That throws one of my fanfics off a little tiny bit!"

He wasn't on the ship, he just organizes his life by all the important moments instead of regular dates.

Doesn't ME2 seem way dirtier than ME1. I mean ME1 had partial nudity and all but ME2 has double the LI options plus a lot of dirty talking but I've only romanced Garrus and Tali. Garrus has a lot of dirty talk, Tali is just too creepy so I didn't pay much attention to it. Then there's also things like Fornax and Afterlife. There's also that Quarian female on Illium and the bachelor party. I don't know if this is part of the whole "dark second act thing" but ME1 doesn't have much of that unless you get into a romance. I wonder why they took the nudity out in ME2 though, seems like a dirtier admosphere would seem perfect for that sort of thing.

lol. I once heard such a card with happy birthday music in it, but the batteries were almost empty. It made the song sound funny.

Anyway, to keep it kinda Garrus related: I missed one picture in the *ahem* folder. I'm not going to link it here, since it's very NSFW. Just image google 'garrus tali' and you'll probably find it.

I loved all the raunchy jokes. That bar in Illium is the best. Plus that sort of thing fleshes out the universe better, I think. Regular people aren't all ladies and gentlemen.

Ah, yes, but all the "dirty" stuff is better hidden to avoid the fallout.  "Popping the heatsink" is too clever for Faux news to pick up on.  Even if Garrus does draw attention to it with being startled he said it that way.

Well, Bioware swears they didn't censor themselves. I thought Miranda, Jack, and Jacob's (dialogue aside) scenes were pretty hot. Guess they just got a little squeamish when it came to the aliens, though with Tali there's obviously a good reason for her keeping her clothes on.

Well, I dunno about squeamish as possibly an inabilty to render them satisfactorily?

I just hope that it's an inabilty that they work on for ME3...

I want my shirtless Garrus

That bothers me a lot. We already know what humans look like. Why shouldn't they show us what aliens look like? Well maybe that can be fixed  if there's nudity on that romance pack they said they would think about.

I was actually kinda surprised Garrus had that dirty mouth on him. Rrrowrl!
With the Thane romance (I didn't finish it, so I can only speculate, but I'm talking about the first few convos, here, about halfway I guess?), it seemed more sweet/romantic kinda thing, like Carth calling you "Beautiful" in KOTOR. Garrus now, whenever I talked to him "up close and personal", I got a much more sexual vibe. Anyone else feel like that?
(btw, NOT complaining!)

Edit: I *loved* that bachelor party thing...there were like 8 responses before it started repeating.  Major lulz for me :o

Garrus knows how to get to da ladies, its because of his scars and because he is a nervous wreck xD.

I actually have a thought regarding no nekkid aliens. I think Bioware deliberately wants to leave it up to our imaginations. This especially applies to Tali since most of her allure comes from her mystique in not seeing her face. I actually kinda hope they don't ever decide to show it. But I totes support shirtless Garrus for SCIENCE! Image IPB

There were some "dirty talk" aspects of convos with different characters that left me feeling like I needed a shower (I'm lookin' at you, Jacob) but Garrus' risque talk totally made my ears blush. There's a lot of sexual tension there. And it is hawt. Image IPB

I can imagine the Earth-shaking fangirl squeal when ME3 is released and -poof-! out of nowhere: shirtless Garrus. Only if you romanced him, anyway, so as not to 'offend' the 'sensibilities' of those who would rather avoid xenophilic fanservice.

I do worry an -eensy- bit about EA putting the kibosh on certain things. BW says they didn't censor themselves, but maybe that's 'cause EA did it for them to avoid the ridonculous "fallout" from the first one. You know, the controversy based on an outright fabrication. I think maybe they fought back in any way they could (the PG-13 language, innuendo, etc.), but backed away from the 'McSteamy' stuff. Maybe they thought there would be an uproar over the cross-species romances and were just testing the waters. Maybe, -maybe- in ME3 they'll feel comfortable enough to elaborate on them. <:)

I love Garrus's convo choices. He def has the whole sly/sarcastic vibe in a lot of them. I love it. Thane's much more subtle, in everything he says.

And man, it sucks when you're trying to make a vid, think of the perfect scenario for this section of song... and realize you need to play through AGAIN just to get said tid bit of vid.

Ah well. XD Playthrough # (I've lost count) coming up!

This line makes me imagine the opening of ME3, there's Shepard, waking up to Joker talking about an attack of some sort, and you catch a quick glimpse of TURIAN as you're running for your shirt/jacket/bridge.

But that's just the fan girl talking.  Honest.

And did Star Trek or Star Wars really have this much censorship/problems with "interspecies" couples?  I mean geeze, this isn't a new phenomina.  BioWare, as much as I love it for making some epic games, didn't write the book on human-on-whatever action.

Blech. I know they were trying to make Jacob all sexy, but he comes off as so creepy. Which is ridiculous, because at first he's like, "Woah, back off, lady," then two tricky convos later he does a total 180 into skeezeville.

I like to think Garrus' appeal was achieved on purpose, rather than inadvertently. For the first convo or two I felt like they were trying to steer me away from him, which was weird. Subsequent playthroughs I felt more of the strange-but-do-want undertones, but that may well have been my very biased personal filter. I have to wonder about the attitude of the person writing the romance(s).

Garrus and Thane are a lot more alien-looking than Mr. Spock.

And despite appearances, the men got the alien strange, the human women never did.  Jadzia Dax was not human and married Worf.  Spock (until the most recent movie) never even kissed a human woman.

That's about exactly what I was thinking. Opening scene, you get a total fanservice glimpse of your LI. Shirtless guy, lingerie-d chica. Or Jack in her normal outfit. A brief flash would be kind of fun, too, because we can get screencaps fairly easily and BW could argue "You see it for 2 seconds, quit yer b!tchin'." Next scene, LI is dressed and all "Ready when you are" with a knowing grin. Or, mandible twitch. Whatever. Image IPB
