Garrus as a gay romance? Honestly I disagree to that. He seems too manly to do that. Even if he does give the same lines I bet a male would interpret it differently. For a male it would be just being friends as for a female it would probably mean flirting IMO. I have nothing against a gay relationship in the game or anything but I don't want Garrus to have a gay romance.

I'm ok with you not wanting a gay romance, but that "manly" statement is so stereotypical...and actually kind of offensive.

I'm sorry, but it sounds like you are assuming all gay romance is about manly men getting it on with girly men? Or that manly men don't consider other manly men at all attractive?  I refer you to the Ancient Romans, whose society has the most in common with the Turians, and who never had a problem with m/m romance or just straight up m/m sex.

The main problem that I have with Garrus and m/m sex is that if cross-species bodily fluids really do cause  allergic reactions and/or irritation, than it would be incredibly dangerous.

But the priiiiize....:wizard:

Well, I lol'd.
XD

Also, I am glad that no one seemed to have caught on to my hidden text two pages ago because it was sickeningly cheesy/campy. Since it was quite some time ago now, I have no problem pointing it out.
I should also say that it is not worth looking for.

No... one that makes him go back to being unable to concentrate.

It would be my first second third paragon interrupt ever!

They are planning on keeping the same teams in me3 in what i heard. There is almost no reason for garrus to be sent away from the normandy, he has no where else to go or at least where he wants to go in the least. Shepard is pretty much his only friend in the galaxy (that is....if he hasn't been mingling with the other crew)

I really hope this is true.  It would be such a huge waste of potential to scrap all the current squadmates for a new crew.  Kaidan/Ash/Liara demand some sort of satisfying closure and I feel like I barely got to know the ME2 squad members even though I liked them all (even Jacob.)

Also...
ME1: Tali and Garrus by my side in final battle taking down Saren
ME2: Tali and Garrus by my side in final battle taking down ridiculous terminator abomination
ME3: Tali and Garrus by my side taking down the Reapers???  Make it happen Bioware.  That would be so EPIC to have it come full circle.

I think people are misunderstanding the whole Siha thing. It wasn't exactly a nickname for his dead wife, it's more of a religious thing. It's actual meaning isn't romantic, it essientially means protector.

The only reason I don't like it is because I despise nicknames, even shortened names, whenever I read a fic and a chatacter calls someone babe, that fic is forever ruined. I can accept couples calling each other "dear" or calling a child "sweetie" but that's pretty much it.

Flammie: You have to be pretty darn Paragon. As in, I wasn't Paragon enough last time, even though my bar was 1/2 full. I'd say at least 3/4. I'd recommend saving that, the Morinth thing, and the Tali/Legion confrontation all for near the end for best results/max Paragon points. Also, Garrus.

Exactly. This is exactly why I'm doing my 'ideal' playthrough. Epic cutscene in ME1 with Garrus and Tali looking all devastated 'cause they think I'm dead, then- TA DA! I'm alive and have a big, goofy grin on my face to boot. All that was missing was me being able to hook and arm around either of then as we did our victory walk outta there.

Next will be a replay of having them with me during the final ME2 battle. That whole thing was just epic beyond words.
ME3: I think we can trust BW enough by now that the end will be suitably epic. They left us with no friggin' clue how Shep's gonna get us out of this one. If/when we do, though, the best culmination would be some LI huggles over a Reaper corpse. Or, like staring meaningfully at each other if the devs want a way to incorproate it into the final cutscene (can cut from one to the other so you don't have to render a scene for every LI pairing).

ETA: Because I get a little ahead of myself. And maybe I like being taken back to the front page to be hypnotized by Garrus' "oh crap the gunship" thing.

Hmm, I'm nearly at 3/4, anyway. I guess I need to really start mooching up the paragon points. I guess Zaeed's loyalty mission will get me a little more...

This post-suicide-mission dialogue talk reminded me of a picture... *searches*

Eh, just for the sake of it.

Garrus: "Can it wait a minute? I'm in the middle of some-"

Paragon Interrupt: Shep closes the door behind her, all we see is the camera zooming out from the outside, like the game is giving us a knowing wink.

In other news:

DH: "Okay. My turn for Mass Effect."

Me: "Hang on. I'm going to trigger some loyalty missions. Don't worry, I'm not gonna do 'em yet.

DH:........

Me:.......

DH: "Da-dum-TISH!"

Me: O_O

I'm just glad he has a good sense of humor about my Garrus preoccupation....

The bra: does anyone ever wear a bra like that when you're not wearing a halter top?

I would -never- wear a bra like that, least of all if my bazongas were that big. Those 'straps' would cut into your skin something fierce. She's probably just wearing it because she knows she's about to get nekkid for Sheploo.
Okay, look, I don't hate Miranda. Not really- it's just large doses of jealousy. I'm sure most of you can relate.

I'm pretty sure Miranda was wearing that bra so that she could take off her top and look enticing for manShep. That thing isn't nearly supportive enough to be what she's wearing all the time. It is cute, though.

It's really strange that I didn't snort when I read it, but I did when Daewan quoted it. Now I can't look at it in the actual paragraph without laughing a little.

I'm not sure if I should feel jealousy for Miranda, but I can see where you're coming from, and I guess I could relate to you in a different mindset.

I'd say Miri's bra is a step up from Dragon Age's useless strapless bras and man thong cod pieces.

But...a girl like me only associates bras with the word "padding."

Anyway...Garrus.

I'm not really jealous of Miranda. Her boobs and butt are a bit too big to my taste, and her face doesn't look pretty in game to me. Yvonne Strahovski is beautiful and Miranda looks good on the cover, but it looks different ingame.

I wonder if Shep also put on some nice looking lingerie for Garrus ^^

EDIT: @aznsoisauce: PADDING FTW! Us and our DFC... :o

/highfive

Shep in lingerie? Hm...so long as it is isn't the Asari stripper outfit.

I'm sure Shepard can pull of sexy, but I think she'd wear something simple but not necessarily plain. Many of my male friends (boyfriend included) are fond of a girl in boyshort-style panties and are particularly turned on when the color of the bra and panties happen to be either black or red. That being said, Shepard in a lacy black bra and black boyshorts (or hiphuggers) is totally hot.

Edit: Oh! The accents on the underwear should definitely be blue! I think Garrus would like that. Yep, now this post is Garrus-related.

Maybe they should have his little Archangel symbol from his armor on the front.  She's his biggest fan.
