Hey Flammie, hope you didn't think I was singling you out in my post when I mentioned "15 year olds OH NOES."  It was really supposed to be more calling out people who aren't even underage themselves using potential teens on the thread as an excuse to call for censorship, which I strongly disagreed with. I think 15 year olds are plenty old enough to make their own decisions around here...

No, it's fine. I just felt a little offended by people calling out the teens here, having people say "the 15 year old" and how their innocent minds will be completely obliterated by the talk here. But yeah, I agree with that, we're capable of making our own decisions, I appreciate that people have a right to be concerned, but we're fine. Or if not, I'm okay with everything going on here. But I'd rather not continue this discussion, so back to Garrus.

I always have an urge to spoil everything for myself everywhere. I barely started ME2 when I started finding out about how the loyalty missions played out and the ending. It'd be nice if I could somehow resist spoiling ME3, but I doubt I will.

Well, I've finally done with the suicide mission in ME2, and I've conveniently went and got ME1 today, so I guess I'm going to go for a full femShep playthrough with plenty of Garrus action. Excellent.

Oh my... were you okay? I don't know what it's like, but it couldn't have been good...

I agree that it's only a small possibility of the allergic reaction happening, and it's not as if it's a guaranteed death, anyway, though it doesn't mean it's a matter not to be concerned about, even though I disregard it. I'd rather risk a shock, and if I don't have one, wonderful, I can do it more. If I do... well, in a quarian's words, it was totally worth it.

I do wonder what to do if you have an allergic reaction during intercourse. What are you supposed to do afterwards?

"Mordin... Dr. Chakwas... Little problem here. Um... Shepard's having a bit of shock,"

"Bring her down, quickly!"

"Um... can it wait for a bit? We were in the middle of some calibrations,"

"...What?"

It's not an experience I ever want to repeat and it wasn't fun, but apparently I'm screwed if a plague hits and the only thing that can cure it is sulphur based antibiotics.

One of the first things that happened during my anaphalaxis is I threw up, fortunately, BEFORE my throat swelled shut (it can be the reverse, which is only one of the reasons why anaphalaxis is BAD).  So... I'm pretty sure the mood would be done.    But the thing is, if third base would do that, so would the home run, so to speak.

i think you people might like this, it is a small part from my fanfiction:

Hanot found a position five hundred meters away from Shepard’s crash site. Perfect. He smiled at his position which was an ideal sniper spot. There were two rocks next to each other which had a meter wide gap in between. He laid down on his belly about three meters away from the gap and snapped his bi-pod’s legs into position. The only way they are going to get a shot off at me is if they expose themselves right into my line of sight. My field of view spans several hundred meters, but I am only exposed by one meter. His training at the turian sniper school began to pay off. I won’t let Skave down. His beady eye looked through his scope and the digital text read 521 meters. He made some slight adjustments to dope his scope. Just then a krogan ran from cover. I have you! His rifle kicked back into his shoulder sending a mass accelerated particle slamming into the krogan’s side, but as fast as he came up he was behind cover. I got you Wrex. His crosshairs were trained on the rock that he was hiding behind. Pop out, come on… He caught a glimpse of a helmet poking out from behind the Mako. He quickly locked on to his target keeping his heart rate low, fighting his excitement. His rifle recoiled into his shoulder and he witnessed his round arc ever so slightly landing on target. The helmet went behind cover quickly, a kill, Hanot didn’t know. He began doing some breathing exercises to calm down his heart rate while he cautiously scanned the wreckage. They know I am around and they must have made me their primary target. Hanot shouldered his rifle more confidently looking for the turian of the group. Garrus…where is he? Skave said he would be the one with the sniper…wait what was that? Hanot noticed something move from inside the Mako. There you are, wait. There was a flash from inside the Mako.
“Rahgua!”
A mass accelerated slug entered his shoulder and continued to travel through his back, bouncing off his spine, and exploded out his side. It felt like hot coals were buried inside of his torso. He tried to breath, but began coughing up blood and pieces of lung. A supersonic crack snapped by his head as Garrus tried to finish him off, but missed. The pain Hanot was dealing with was unbearable and he began to slip into shock. Suddenly, Hanot took a depleted Uranium slug to the top of his head disintegrating it.

Awww man, ok, on my umpteeth playthrough here... looks like Garrus definitely was not on the ship when the SR1 was Collector boomed. Jacob says "... including the non-Alliance crew -- the asari, Liara, and the quarian -- they all made it out alive."

Which means Wrex AND Garrus left before you go trapsing back through the galaxy to fight geth. Baaaah /crumples up that fic idea

(And if this has been stated before, sorry, I thought it was all speculation until I read this.)

I read all of the spoilers ahead of time, so the only things that I didn't know about were a few conversation options, nothing about Garrus though. I always read the spoilers for every game/book/movie I buy. There are no surprises, but that krogan headbutt was just as funny even though I knew it was coming. xD

The only spoiler I saw was that Garrus was in the game. That was all the information I had. However, I knew he was Archangel the minute I talked to that Blood Pack leader.

As far as the asari, Neria Rose, go listen in on the bachelor party in the Eternity Bar on Ilium. I think it's a red herring, but it might not be. If asari really mind controlled the other races, they'd look WAY different when you killed them and their control ended.

I also think It's a gag and I bet devs have a good laugh from people who took it seriously. Asari are plain space babes fanservice. So are Garrus and Tali romances:whistle: I don't mind fanservices, even when scientific part suffers.

Well, all three comment on her navel, and what each guy comments on were the things the asari have in common with their species, especially if you tilt your head and squint your eyes.

It's kinda true, if you think about it...those things on their heads *could* look a bit like salarian horns, turian head scales, or human dreads, if you took your glasses off and you'd had a few...

The turian fringe resemblance I could see, but I have no idea how the asari look anything like salarians. Maybe it really is just the skin color that attracts them.

I don't think they're doing any sort of mind-control business, though. Otherwise we'd know about it. ..Unless they can affect the way others see them on television and in artwork, which I highly doubt.

I was thinking salarians find them more atractive when they do that "embrace eternity" think and go all black just like salarians have them. This doesn't make any sense but it's the only ressemblance to them. :D

I don't actually remember what the salarian says is the same as the females for his race.  The turian does mention the head tentacles as being like their fringe, though.

And, I just thought, I spoiled that Archangel was Garrus for myself, and I haven't even got ME1, but how did everybody else react when Archangel took off his helmet and revealed he was Garrus?

I spoiled it for myself too. I really wanted to find out where, when and how I was seeing Wrex again in ME2, and then I happened to read something about Archangel being Garrus... oops. Damn curiosity.

I'm hoping to keep ME3 a total surprise for me, but it's going to be haaaaard. I love the forum... and this thread in particular. =]

So... nothing to dispell the fact that they just look generically feminine.

Well, reading about it was one thing, but experiencing it was another. That was why I liked the suicide mission, and even though I watched the romance scene already, why I'll probably like the romance scenes iwth Garrus.

I think the salarian just said the asari looked like a salarian, but not why, which caused the other two in the party to argue about what the asari look like. I don't think the asari brainwash, I think it's just the three people looking for traits they can associate with, and convincing themselves the asari is like them.

Yeah, still a fun thing to wonder about, though.

And as for spoilers, silly me, I thought "I've just finished Dragon Age, I think I need to take a break from RPGs for a couple of months." Then it came out, I resisted, saw that commercial with the badass music, went to a video game forum and had a bunch of stuff spoiled for me. I thought "Oh noooo I've ruined everything!" but playing through it myself was still a really fun and fresh experience, even though I'd picked up a handful of plot points.

I wonder how a hen night with an asari dancer would go.

Ugh, could have edited that into my previous post, but it was a spur of the moment thought.

It's weird. I played Dragon Age because I was in need of sometihng to help me get over WoW. I was starting to get tired of the MMO, so I started branching out, and Dragon Age seemed a good start.

Then I saw a commercial reminding me that HEY, ME2 was coming out. I hadn't read a damn thing about it. Had no idea what to expect. So nothing got spoiled for me. I was pretty sad when I went through the crew list with TIM and he was all like THEY ARE GONE GET NEW PEEPS, but when I heard about the Archangel thing, I had that sneaky suspicion, especially after having just seen Tali.

Then Garm said something about a turian and I was like, OMG if this ISN'T Garrus, I'll eat my controller.

After the recruit part, I got all excited and decided to spoil just one part of the game for myself: I looked up whether or not Garrus was going to be a LI... and I think I finished the game 3 days after it released. (I was ... recovering from something, and was out of work for a week. Probably the one sad thing about my ME2 experience is when I started it : /)

Suffice to say, not sure what the hell I'm gonna do about ME3. I really don't think I can go back to the blissful ignorance I had with the span between ME1 and ME2, but I'm going to try my best not to look for spoilers.

I spoiled pretty much everything for myself... It was exciting at the time, but i wish i'd had the self-control to prevent myself from doing it. The moment Garrus took off his helmet was still absolutely amazing, but had it been a total surprise it would have been perfection. Haha my goal for ME3 is to NOT spoil everything for myself.... wish me luck...

Yeah, me too.  This time I'm preordering, dropping whatever I'm doing to play it, and banishing myself from the internet for about a month beforehand.

I knew that Garrus was Archangel, but I didn't spoil anything else about his recruitment or loyalty missions for myself.

I don't know what I'm going to do about ME3. I won't watch any streams of games that were pirated/sold too early, but I'll probably devour every video and interview that BioWare throws at me.

The only things I spoiled were Wrex and Garrus. I wish I didn't spoil the Archangel part, because I can imagine my jaw dropping to the floor when he took his helmet off and finding out Archangel = Garrus.

My big jawdropping moment was when he started talking about reach and flexibility. HE'S A LI? REALLY? AAAAAAAaaaaaaaaa! XD
