Why has Garrus not roared yet?
I demand this in mass effect 3.
I don't care if he is roaring at me... I will stand there and swoon for days.

I was always harrassing him in the middle of battle in ME1.  "NOT NOW, SHEPARD."  Oh you!!

I have to admit I did that too.

We've seen headbutts and kneeing people in the groin, but I want to see a turian claw at someone when they get physical (no, I don't mean that  kind of "getting physical"). Surely they know how to do some damage with those talons. I've always wondered if a turian is more likely to slash at someone with his/her claws than to punch them like a human would.

I don't understand the fascination with trying to figure out who is the dominant/submissive one in the relationship, even as a means to get an idea of how to write the relationship or physical prowess. I don't analyze the relationships of people I know in real life in such a manner. I don't even watch two people fighting and declare the loser a submissive.

This. Ultimately it's a lot more complicated than just "Oh well (s)he has a strong/passive personality so clearly (s)he is dominant/submissive in bed!!" Nooo. Sex and relationships do not work that way.

BioWare is not going to describe their sex life to us (nor do they need
to, they really don't need to) so you can basically just imagine it to be however you want. Read the fanfics that fit your image and avoid the ones that don't. Or write your own, whatever floats your boat.

And me. Of course, I harassed everyone in battle because I liked hearing them snip at me, but Garrus especially.

The problem is that you can't base Turians strength on their size because palavens gravity is lower than earths, a creature their size and shape on earth would be heavier and stronger than them. Unfortunately we don't know how different the gravity is so we can't measure out their strength.

True, ultimately it's all conjecture and preference on my part ^_^.

I don't know who's the submissive one in the relationship but it seemed to me like Shepard was controlling the romance. Honestly if I was Garrus I'd want to be the submissive one. The same thing happened to be when romancing Morrigan in Dragon Age. I like to think my character is the submissive one. However now I don't know whether I should accept her offer the next time I romance her.

Request for ME3 - the chance to be more of an annoying dick to squadmates in the heat of battle.

I always did it on accident.  Usually because we were in a dire situation and I needed to get back into the Mako.

Shepard: Jesus Christ it's a Colossus, get in the car!!!  *mash A-button*
Garrus: Not Now, Shepard!
Shepard:  YES ****ING NOW, VAKARIAN!  GET IN THE GODDAMN CAR!

Funny you should mention it, I don't think I recall a single turian in either game that wasn't wearing gloves.
Gloveless/shirtless turian sparring for ME3.  You know, for science...

First that, then calibrations.

He never has time for you. ...Even when his life is at stake, apparently.

You want wild sex, you sex Jacob. Look at the forehead touch - with Gar it's going to be tender.

That's what you think.  His reproductive organs are in his forehead.

So...does this mean Garrus was sexually aroused after he headbutted Harkin? Full forehead contact right there.

And since I mentioned Garrus in his loyalty mission (awesome save, I know), I got a question for y'all: Why do you think Garrus was so unwilling to let Sidonis go even after Sidonis explained his situation?

I, personally, didn't think much about it until recently. I noticed that Sidonis never once seems to say that what he did was wrong. He mentions how he can't sleep at night, and how the faces of his former comrades haunt him, but he doesn't outright say it was wrong to betray them. It isn't until Sidonis admits that nothing he can say will ever make what he did right that Garrus finally relents.

Just another point to add that Shepard doesn't patronize Garrus during his LM, he comes to the decision completely on his own.

So Garrus was lying when he said he'd never even considered cross-species intercourse! When in reality he was nearly getting it on with Harkin during his loyalty mission. Tsk.

I'm guessing A) they didn't want to hassle with properly texturing turian hands, B) turians wear them around other species to avoid unfortunate accidents, or C) both.

Every single time I play through that scene, I just can't help but laugh at the subtitles. Saren: Argh! Rarh! Argh!

Okay, that was OT, sorry. Garrus!

I always felt like he was just stubbornly holding on to it after Sidonis explained his situation.  I think that by the time Sidonis finishes his spiel Garrus is already battling himself about it.  One half of him sees that there's still good in him (like he mentions later) and the other half is still stubbornly holding on to the idea of revenge, something he's thought about for so long that it's probably very difficult to just let it go.

He wants to take the easy way out and just give in to that desire for revenge.  Like Mordin's mission.  ("Wanted to kill him.  Easier than listening." ) Hearing that Sidonis had reasons (however pitiful, IMO) casts a shadow of doubt on a conviction that Garrus has nursed for a long time.  So I think he's just clutching onto it desperately, but already starting to waver at that point.

It's only when Sidonis clearly reaches the end of making his case (He admits there's nothing he can say), that Garrus is forced to make his choice.

Hypothetically speaking if someone betrayed me in the way Sidonis did, I wouldn't really care what his reasons were (incidentally, also why I let Garrus take the shot.)

It's entirely possible he thinks he did the right thing/the necessary thing but still feels incredible guilt over it.  Rock and a hard place.

I guess that makes me feel a little better.

But still, Garrus, how could you?

Advice: Whether or not you bring Garrus to Mordin's recruitment mission, bring Grunt. The dialogue at the beginning is great!

Would they both still talk or will it be one or the other? I gotta use them both.

Unrelated, but one of my favorite lines in ME1 was Wrex listening to Lorek talking about all the officers drooling over Benezia. "I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW A CLOTHED FEMALE IS MORE ATTRACTIVE THAN A NAKED ONE." He sounded so outraged, it was awesome.

I think Garrus always knew it was wrong at least if you paragonized him in ME1. He probably didn't see another solution. It could also be possible that everything that happened brought him down back to his old renegade ideas. In the majority of the game I didn't see Garrus very happy at all, his face always had an angry look on his face. In the first conversation with him Shepard face at the end looks worried. I guess it's because Garrus went through a lot. I noticed that most of his conversations, even the first one after he gets his faced scarred end up with him talking in a sad tone IMO. Plus they don't really end well, he just says "Thanks for coming by Shepard I've got work to do".

If you think about it, the reason for "Can it wait for a bit, I'm in the middle of some calibrations" could probably that he just wants to be alone. That's my theory but yeah let's face it BioWare should have given us more Garrus dialogue whether you romanced him or not. Another thing I also wonder is why he didn't tell Harkin that he was looking fot the Turian who caused that his face got blown up. I would've liked to have heard him mention the scars. For example I would have wanted to hear him say that Sidonis had to die because of his teamates and because of both his physical and emotional scars. Something else I noticed is that we didn't need any paragon or renegade choices to stop him from shooting Sidonis meaning that he knew it was wrong and that if he really wanted it he would've done it regardless of what Shepard says. I think even at the end Shepard moves out of the way and if it didn't happen I would've liked if Shepard had done that.

Right. What Sidonis did was right by Sidonis, but Garrus doesn't seem to think so. I think he personally needed to hear it from Sidonis' own mouth that he felt what he did was wrong (and he kind of gets this when Sidonis finally says: "Tell Garrus...I guess there's nothing I can say that can make it right."). Since Sidonis shows no indication of thinking he was in the wrong (and, you know from Sidonis' perspective, why should he?), Garrus' resolve to kill him seems pretty unshakeable.

OH EEEEE OH I hope I'm making some sort of mad sense.

What MarginalBeast said. And...well, now I'll have to be sure to ask Garrus how he felt about it next time.

Fem!Shep: So, whose flexibility was better? That female turian scout's or Harkin's?
Garrus: I...what?
