I can't draw, but I love turians of all shapes and sizes, so I'll gladly have those pictures.

By the way, just a little off topic, but has anybody tried Youtube's captioning? Tali and Garrus's conversation in Citadel has been subject to such torture, for example.

I guess these are fair arguments. Well, considering there are 10 original characters, 4 already argue, so I was thinking about pairing up the remaining 6.

We were just talking about Grunt's conversation about hating turians, which can prompt Shepard to tell him to back off Garrus, so I thought about if those two got into a character argument. It's probably not likely (well, obviously not, the game's out), but out of the five originals that aren't arguing, it seemed like Grunt would be the most likely, even if unlikely, person to conflict with.

Well, the question hasn't got much coverage, but who would you pair up as arguments between the 6 non-disputers?

What about if it was Grunt that burst into the main battery and started ruining Garrus's calibrations?

I'd give Grunt a high-five.

The closest thing to a "arguement" with garrus and grunt would have been something like this fanfic

a friendly chat

I'd think Garrus vs. Thane and Garrus vs. Zaeed would be interesting, especially the former. Jacob vs. Thane would be interesting as well. Grunt vs. Mordin too. Grunt vs. Garrus sounds boring.

Grunt respects power, and Garrus isn't weak. I don't see them as fighting. I think like someone else said that if anyone, the fight would be between Zaeed and Garrus, but even then I don't see that as happening. Also "possible" would be Thane, I guess.

...If Zaeed and Garrus want to sort out their differences some day, I'll gladly offer them Shepard's cabin for it... So they don't accidentally harm the rest of the crew, of course. Thane can join, too. Ahem.

Sorry.

I felt Zaeed and Garrus worked well together, truth be told.

New armor = win.

Ooooh Officer Vakarian, your armor is so...so...fixed. It's beautiful. *shed tear* I'm still trying to figure out what those things are on the side of his head, though.

And if Grunt ran into the battery to mess up Garrus' calibrations, I might just have to treat that baby krogan to a totally appropriate lap dance on Omega.

It'd be a microphone-like device, similar to what Shep has with the visor. I think.

I believe the wires are a headset, but I'm not sure why he'd need two.

...Yeah, I guess I'd like something to mess up his calibrations. Just hearing his voice in my head saying that line makes me want to do something to him. Not violence, mind.

And, I guess I can't see much interest in Grunt v. Garrus, actually. I guess there wouldn't be much substance to the event, unlike Tali/Legion and Miranda/Jack. Oh well.

Which is why I think that Garrus vs. Thane or Garrus vs. Zaeed would be more interesting. Grunt vs. Garrus would be like rawr let's fight and that's pretty much it.

Garrus and thane doesn't make much sense. I don't see those two have anything against each other. In fact, i don't see anyone having anything against garrus on the crew. The only other person who would want to fight thane would be jacob.

Jacob does also have his line about disliking mercenaries, and assassins, too. It was suggested that Jacob would argue with Thane earlier, too.

Garrus vs. Mordin might bring up some interesting ethics. Though I don't think they'd have an argument for Shepard to intercept. Strange, despite what we know about Mordin's ability to kill, he seems so passive and unable to get into an argument. Perhaps Grunt would be a better placement, there.

Samara... I honestly have no idea.

I'm not sure I see Garrus having a tussle with Thane happening, either. Thane and Garrus respect each other immensely. Garrus compliments Thane's precision multiple times on his recruitment mission, and Thane (if the PC game is modded and Thane, Samara and Tali are made recruitable early on) comments on Garrus being a "crack shot" (or something similar).

I'm also disappointed the tube/wire things aren't actually part of a beer helmet. :C

If garrus ever got into an arguement with anyone on the ship it would most likely lack violence, tension maybe but not violence.

Not that I necessarily see Garrus vs. Thane as likely, just more interesting than Grunt vs. Garrus which like I said would (seemingly) amount to Grunt going rawr let's fight.

Yeah, I'd think a Garrus argument would be more like Tali/Legion than Jack/Miranda

I think Garrus is awesome enough that he can get a swig of beer in the middle of battle without a beer helmet. Maybe Shepard might need it. Can't even drink it normally.

I like the way you think.

Circumstances behind Garrus and Thane having a confrontational scene would definitely be more interesting than Grunt and Garrus having one, given their respect for each other--at least it'd make you wonder what was going on. With Grunt, yeah, all I see happening is: RAWR. Garrus, gonna test your strength to see if you're worthy to be a part of Shepard's clan! Fight with me!

*good old fashioned wrestling ensues*

...actually, that would be awesome.

Ugh, tell me about it. On my third playthrough and I'm starting to notice sloppy things like that a lot more. Shep goes bug-eyed, the pouring of drinks and so forth.

@Umanix; That giggle was a bit odd for me. But I like the way I think too.

She's just trying to follow Garrus' advice by staying hydrated! You know by...pouring it in her eye.

Maybe Garrus has a better undestanding on Drell culture and all it implies for an assassin. I don't think Garrus holds murders for money in high steem, but Thane's situation is quite complicated (the writers made sure we got that). So, Garrus probably respects Thane, because he knows or at least has heard of the Hanar using the Drell. Also, I don't think he disapproves of Thane killing the ones that murdered his wife, for obvious reasons.

It's likely that Thane admires Garrus for his job on Omega, and his wish to do good. I wish they interacted more, because right now, I feel their relation is very... Cold. Almost unexistant. I notice that whenever I try to pair two characters and it doesn't work very well... I'm just saying that somebody should try it...
