I got too excited the first time he bent down to the Mako tire. I ran up to take a screenshot and somehow ended up talking to him instead...so...had to wait around until he cycled through to the Mako-tire-animation again. Good lord...really made Shepard into a creeper doing this. Just...standing behind him...watching him calibrate...all the while thinking, "get down already, you damn Turian!"

Why I reaaaaaaaally hated the Mako:



At least the Firewalker is more... flexible. Still bumped into walls and lava, but that's just me getting used to it. Anyone else kept hitting spacebar to jump?

I started a new ME1 playthrough to create my single femShep, but damn, ME2 is soo much better. Garrus looks great in ME2. And yes, I also saw him working on the Mako for the first time yesterday. He looks cute. I wanted to hug him.

Holy crap, I'm playing ME1 right now as I type. I just got a critical mission failure because the Mako contracted a poltergeist. I dunno WTF happened but the damn thing started flying around in mid-air AND TAKING DAMAGE. Apparently, Garrus' calibrations don't include holy water. I WISH I had been able to capture that horrifyingly annoying moment. I can't imagine Garrus was pleased. Has this ever happened to anyone?

When fighting thresher maws with a vanguard, take Liara for status, but do most of the damage using the mako. Keep your main gun trained on it, stay outside the 'headsmash' attack range, and use the Mako thrusters to 'jump' over all the acid attacks. You'll proably still get some acid kickback, but should be able to do substantial damage without taking too much yourself. When it is on low health, get out of the Mako, hit it with Liara's status, then you nuke that mofo to death.
(spent a lot of time Threshermaw Hunting when trying to hit 60 on playthrough 2. I failed by 1000exp!!)

Our stupid router is in my stupid roomates room so I can't connect it to my stupid xbox and download that stupid new content. Sigh. Shiney new Garrus will have to wait.

I had no real problems with the Mako. As far as fighting Thresher Maws, I just shot, ran for it, shot again. Made sure I was up on one of those mounds where it couldn't pop up underneath you when it ducked down underground again.

Yes. Yes, bloody yes. What an amazing find.

He looks so damn adorable when he does that. For one with reach, he's also quite flexible. And sexy, as always.

I'm going to have to stand around and look him up when he does that once I get around to it.

And, I can't venture any opinions on the DLC, because I'm going through ME1, now, and I'm not going to go back to ME2 until I've finished ME1 and get an imported Shepard to romance Garrus. I think I preferred how the shields and Medi-Gel worked in ME2, but otherwise I quite like ME1.
