As a quick toss off for music: I've been listening to this song a whole bunch recently (Ghost in the shell, Torukia)
The very beginning sounds the club music, ha. One of the best parts is when the male chorus joins in at a minute to the end. ((Hopefully you guys won't mind me posting this...))

Someone should make a Garrus fanmix.

As long as that "music" from Flux isn't in it. ;)

Are you knocking Garrus' taste in sexy muzac?

Yes.  He's a big boy, he can take it.

Not when it comes to romance, he isn't! He is insecure, and vunerable, and just wants to be accepted and loved!

I dare you to look him in the eye and say 'Garrus, all that romance you thought you were bringing? It sucked!' :crying:

Nah.  Shep does it right and turns it off.  Gotta rescue him from awkwardness. :innocent:

lol. Yeah. Bless his heart.

Still don't think a Garrus fanmix could exist without rockin' that stripper music, though!

Sometime, in the future of their relationship, that music will become a inside joke.

Flux music rulessss. I'm happy Garrus likes it too ;). I'm just hoping that's not what he understands as 'romantic lovemaking' music.

@Flammie: You and me are almost in the same timezone ;).

I just had this sudden thought of Shepard and Garrus spontaneously awkward dancing right there and then when the music turns on. Screw head-bumping, just dance.

And, awesomeness.

I don't think Garrus would have noticed if you picked up a speaker and threw it at the fishtank, tackled him and started smacking the hell out of him. Too busy being worried about everything going wrong and thinking about the right way to bump your head.

The scenarios where the music can become an inside joke are overwhelming me.

Anyone else think he was strutting a little after turning on the music? I felt bad when my Shep shook her head quickly side to side, and not slowly, cause slow to me would have indicated laughing, but quick side to side makes me think, "Crap, FemShep's not diggin' the music." /facepalm

And it's not just the paragon interrupt, you turn it off if you don't do the "Sexy coo." I can't do that interrupt. I love Garrus and all.. but that line sounded so r-tarded.

He's quite in the moment, pleased, happy, thinking it's going to go right until you start walking towards him and he tries to chat you up. Then it all goes wrong. I don't think he really notices her shaking her head, though of course it's not a nice thing to do, nevertheless.

And, I haven't used the interrupt. To be honest I haven't romanced him yet, either, but yeah, I don't like the Paragon interrupt. It sounds like she's kind of making fun, and the line itself is stupid, too.

And:

"Mini-bump? Rub? Slam? Oh, she's shaking her head, maybe we could touch together and shake our heads, is she thinking the same thing I am?"

I always do the interrupt. He really seduced me with his lines. It's the first time someone complimented me on my hair and my waist. Very original, Garrus. =]

Your, uh, hair looks... good, and your waist is... very supportive.

...What do you mean somebody already said that to you?

...I thought women liked patient's cards...

Edit: Playing through the video of the paragon interrupt, apart from the fact the "Whoa!" sounds a bit like she's stoned and drills into my head, Garrus also seems to do this "head lifted, looking down at you" thing. He also proceeds to drop his head, and does a little shake. He seems to be scrutinising you.

Also, out of curiosity, how often/long do you all call Garrus up for a cuddle/chat on the sofa after the suicide mission, if at all?

I admit, I called him up to my room out of curiosity and posed with him on the bed and couch. But after I realized there wasn't conversation I ended up deleting that saved game. I was finished everything and had nothing left to do.

I did it the first time out of curiosity (and excitement). Very disappointed with what was meant by `Press and hold F to continue.' Was I being pervy? Not necessarily. I was hoping for another goofy marionette like posing of Garrus and Shepard.

Anyway...now I just do it whenever I feel like having a good `lol.' The way he sits on couch is so...awkward...

I avoid the bed though because my Shep's eyes don't close all the way... :pinched:

I...uh...I really like the Paragon interrupt during the romance scene. It was playful to me. And that's how I roleplay my Shep...she's cheesy and she's gawt jokes, hyuk hyuk! Laugh or she'll kick your ass.

Patient's cards FTW. The stoned "Whoa!" suits me. I'm Dutch, I'm supposed to be stoned all the time. :alien:

I was excited when I found out I could invite Garrus up. And the "Press F to continue" deceived me too. Yeah, take your shirts off! ...damn Bioware. I invite him up everytime I finish the game.

Btw, my Shep's eyes won't completely close either. It looks stupid.

I only did it once with my female Shepard. I wish there was dialogue or something, it feels weird. I also thought something dirty was going to happen when it said press B to continue. If they had said "press B to stop" then I wouldn't have thought that. After that I just started a new playthrough with that female Shepard.

When I called Garrus up to the sofa for a 'chat', I loled at how awkwardly they are poised together. It's like Shep is waaaay into...whatever she's doing, and Garrus is all stiff, and clearly freaking out on the inside. Made me think he did his 'research' a bit more than Shep, because she was clearly way more into it than him.

Can you get him on the bed, btw? Have seen screenshots. Never done it.

Re: Garrus and sexy music - anyone notice how fast he moves to put the music on? He practically runs for it! It's like he's been rehearsing carefully for a while... the wine, the suit, the music, the awesome chat up lines... lol

"Damn. Knew I should have watched the vids."

LOL. Just like in Austin Powers when he got that golf cart stuck between the two walls.

The bed cuddling is fun for a couple of minutes, but it's pretty static so I've only done it the once. The sitting in the lap things is kind of weird, too- like Shepard just won't shut up. They couldn't have, I don't know, just had her touching his face some more? His stroking her arm? Would have been way more sweet.

*Pants*

Yeesh. I went back to look for the audio files/The Folder....50 and 70 pages, respectively! I think this thread has been picking up speed. :)

Haha, I remember that scene. I have no idea how I got the Mako in that position (it's an old screenshot), but I couldn't get it out. I had to load a previous save to start over again :pinched:.

Sitting on his lap in Shep's cabin is... awkward. He's just staring and she's rocking her head. Like... wiggle wiggle. I wish there was actual dialogue or more variation instead of the staring contest.

I also thought that after inviting Garrus up, he would stay in your room. But it still says "Team members: none" when you select your cabin in the elevator. I don't know why they even put it there if no one will stay in your room.

in Me1, Garrus went everywhere with me just like in ME2. Every time I got into the Mako, I could just hear Garrus saying, "Please, Shepard. Let me drive." Pleadingly.

I want a hanar as a romanceable character just so I can see Shepard try to sit on one's lap on that couch.

Ditto.  I blamed it on Vanguards being adrenaline junkies.

I'm not driving poorly, I'm RP'ing my Shepard!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I wondered the same thing. I mean, where else does Garrus sleep? One of the sleeper tubes? That would get old rather fast. Highly doubt he stays in the crew's quarters....those beds are made for discintly human shapes, with little room to spare even for them. Shep's bed is about the only one spacy enough for our resident turian. Image IPB

On the old board, they used to joke that he slept under the Mako.

Hey guys how do I break it off with Jacob? I romanced him for science to get the cuttlebone line and record it for you guys, but there's no option do dump him?? *panicks* Btw, that is my "make new game to explore other LIs, romance Garrus anyway" playthrough ;) As soon as I had recruited him my resolve shattered ... I mean ... Garrus
