This, and also i heard about turain blades and swords.
I wonder if garrus knows how to use a sword or a dagger, and i say that bioware gives him those weapons to increase his badassness.

This is Garrus related right? We're discussing how to capture his likeness for posterity--or something. To answer your question, no watermarks on the screencaps for the free version but the output is limited to BMP format. I use photoshop to covert to JPGs. No idea on video.
Exactly. Posterity. And thanks for the info^_^

Now
somebody notices, lol. First happy face in ME, now a sad face in ME2
To me it looks like a mildly interested or uninterested depending on the situation kind of face >

The "humans are all racist" turian mentioned a ceremonial blade (15 centimeters- not terribly threatening :/ ), but was there anything else mentioned somewhere? I am interest.
Anyway....must to bed. Would have something more interesting to add if I weren't so tired, I am sure.

Now that someone mentioned it, I remember one enemy that almost seemed to blow up when Shepard beat it. Maybe it was one of the husks? But I remember laughing at it. My Shepard got swarmed by husks all the time, even using Throw every half-second. For any of the bigger enemies (Praetorian, mechs, human Reaper), I was really glad to have that Collector Particle Beam.
Shepard: I love this weapon.
I thought Garrus' comment about Miranda before the suicide mission had nothing to do with Cerberus. Didn't he just say half of the team didn't trust her, or something like that? I don't think I'll ever see that scene in-game though... I can think of reasons why my Shepards would lead certain characters to their death during the mission, but not upgrading the Normandy puts themselves at risk too.

1. Garrus is very popular with fans so it makes no sense on their part to only restrict his dialouge
2. There was a structure with all the other crew members ( typically went 2 convos , mission convo, post-mission convo, last convo) yet garrus didn't have this structure, why?
3. Bioware couldn't have NOT known he didn't have as much to say
So what is their reasoning for it?? Do they even have a reason? Its just so freakin odd isn't it?

Flammie--no knock on you, but it never ceases to amuse me that you can consistently ballpark a person's age depending on what they call this person.
I have no idea what ballpark that puts me into, but I hadn't played FFVII for ages, and I kind of forgot her name, so I tried "Aeris", and then all these searches come up with "Aerith," so I ended up getting confused. I guess I'm really behind the times in terms of FFVII. Though I guess I am freakily young.
Maybe they didn't have many conversations for Garrus because they didn't know what they could get him to say that wasn't said in ME1, or maybe they were just being lazy.
I think turians are able to express their emotions on their face well enough, actually. I do like how you can always see their teeth, bared.
That reminds me of another picture.

In the UK (probably US as well, but I can't assert this for sure) English language origaional release of the game, Aeris was called Aeris. Apparently in the origional Japanese game, she was Aerith and this was a mistake (or somthing). Then, new games/movies set in the FF7 universe started referring to her as Aerith, which I think is now recognised as the 'official' character name. However, old English version players like myself came to know and love her as Aeris, so some of us will continiue to refer to her as that, because that's her name, dammit! (as far as we are concerned) Pedantic anime fans and players who are newer to the universe, and all the current official stuff, use the name Aerith. Most people get who you are referring to, either way. Some people get quite passionate about the 'correct' name to call her.
Correct me if I'm explaining this wrong, people.
And Garrus with bladed weapons would be EPIC! We gon't really get to see him fight up close very often, but it would be amazing if when closed by a charging Krogan, he could put his gun away, pull out a huge dagger, and have at it!

...Dammit, I've got to edit that post.
I wonder if Garrus needs a knife to do some damage. All I think he needs is his head and elbows.

Anyhoo, I just wanted to say that them screenshots rule. I just now figured out how to get Hi-Res shots in ME1 via console commands without those annoying black bands but unfortunately I discovered the trick right at the end of the game. Guess this means another PT of 1 while I put off insanity on 2. I'm not putting it off or anything.

Oh lawd, I've missed out on a lot! When did Aeris come into the conversation? LOL! And yes, she is Aeris to me. And Squall is Squall not Leon. Damn Kingdom Hearts kids.
(No offense intended to anyone of course!)
Lol - Squall/Leon. I loved Kingdom Hearts, but remember the nerdrage there.
And I think it is perfectly clear now what needs to happen and why these 2 RPG heavyweights have come together in this thread....
Garrus needs a gunblade!

Seriously, that would be epic.
Edit: And then, I suddenly thought about that massive scar over Garrus's face.

You know, this is where it would be cool if the devs ever did some sort of live-chat Q&A to talk directly to the fans. I mean, the broader requests- Garrus & Tali being in ME2, getting rid of the Mako (which kind of backfired), etc.- are good and all. But if they're really going to "go crazy" like they've said they will, they might as well find out most of the details of what we want. Unless they really read these threads, or just the titles/number of pages....in which case Tali would be the main plot of ME3. >
Anyway, need moar Garrus. Struggling to wait for Kasumi DLC.....

Gunblades, serrated knives, katanas, whatever, I am totally in love with the idea of a....turian sword culture. It just fits them so well. And Garrus with some kind of blade would bring him to the zenith of badassery. Not that he needs one (ahem..talons...which incidentally I would also love to see him bust out on an enemy).
Edit: SAY Aeris, not saw...lol. Millions of fanboys everywhere are massing at my front door this very minute..

I fail to see how/why they managed to change Squall's name.
Garrus could probably scratch out his enemies' eyes without pulling off his gloves. Combine that with his headbutt and elbow slam, and, well, I don't think I need to say anymore. He was a top ranked hand-to-hand specialist.
