Did anyone else get lines from Garrus after getting poisoned by the batarian bartender? He told me he was sorry for not warning me sooner about the bartender.

I did.  I was a little confused by that.  Did he know the bartender poisons humans and was just distracted or didn't realize Shepard had ordered a drink from him?

Yeaaaah, I was wondering what he exactly hoped would happen by not telling me <<. Thane almost looks like he's trying to do a spin of some sorts. Garrus just.. looks half shocked. I'M ONTO YOU.

If he knew the bartender was murdering people, why didn't he try and stop him?

Well, Garrus is pretty familiar with Omega. I figure he either didn't notice Shep getting a drink or didn't connect the dots until it was too late ("Shepard's continuing her quest to christen every filthy toilet in the Terminus systems, I see...waitaminute that's--FFFUUUUUUU").

I was a little surprised Mordin doesn't have a comment for that guy (or if he does, I haven't run into it).

Possibly not to high on his list, since the bartender was only killing humans.

There's also the fact that it's a bartender working for Aria.  She mentions that Archangel was smart enough to not interfer with anything she's got going on.  A bartender working at her business might fall under that.

Moar awesome unique Garrus dialogue- played through Thane's loyalty mission again, and besides chatting w/ Thane about C-Sec security (redundant?) or lack thereof, he also has the little banter moment with Shep about the VI Mouse made of her-

Garrus: "That's pretty....extreme, commander."

Shepard: "Laugh it up, Garrus."

I'm not sure if any other character got any unique lines during that. Tali's the only other squadmate who knows her well and could joke with her like that. Maaaaaybe they stiffed him a little on ship dialogue because they gave him more mission dialogue....? *stretch*

Yeah, Tali also says the "That's pretty extreme" line. Nobody else.

So only Tali and Garrus say that? Hehe. Nice.

A lot of the characters have unique lines in different situations.

What if he knew it would not kill her... only knock her out. What if he fig no one else would see her pass out but him.

I thought I was creepy for staring at Garrus' butt in the elevator loading screens in ME1 but you guys aren't too shabby either. Great minds ... B)

...Funnily enough, Lazarus in Shining Tears comes back from the dead, too. I guess it really is an overused metaphor.

Well, I'm going to paragon Garrus, anyway. I just wasn't fond of how both Paragon options with Garrus I've encountered with him so far involve telling him off.

And, the DST threw me off, actually. I thought I woke up at a perfectly reasonable time, before afternoon, at least. Turns out I woke up in the afternoon. Blargh.

...Heh, Thane's going to hit the dance floor, Garrus looks like he's posing for the photo with a sort of "rawr" stance (it looks similar to the squad selection screen) and Shepard looks like she's just seen a credit on the floor. What a shot.

I wouldn't mind having just Garrus watch me pass out. It's not rape if you want it.

And another +1 for adorable turian hats, here. Damn that comic makes them look even cuter.

Why does something so sweet as loving
Garrus give me such a headache when I think about it? Damn... It's not
that. Because you all love Garrus too, and I'm sure none of you have
the same worries about it as I do.

In any case, I don't care.
Actually, when I think back, my love for the not-quite-human has been
there within me for years. Even before I realized. It's just that now
the CGI is much more impressive. And my faith in humanity much lower.

*Sigh*

I'm honestly not sure if I can explain it any better than you, but I actually do sometimes think and feel the same way.

Hmm... somebody should do the "Should've gone to Specsavers Effect" Jacob/"Priiize" effect in response to that Axe Garrus effect picture made a while ago. If anybody's curious about what I mean, I don't think Specsavers exist in the USA or in certain other places.

I always used to stare at his fringe the whole time.  I was completely fascinated by it.

You aren't creepy for staring. During the archangel reveal the camara follows garrus's butt for a magical 4 seconds , its uh interesting. Image IPB

You also get to see his butt as he crawls to cover when the gunship attacks him during the recruitment mission. I believe I've got a couple of images somewhere. I've also noticed that that part of the armour seems to be made of cloth. Probably for flexibility.

I wasn't fascinated by the fringe, but I did find it quite interesting.

Btw you ask Garrus how he got holed up in his sniping tower, he says his emotions got in the way of his better judgment. So did he ever explain how he ended up there in partcular?

I figured it was Garrus speak for saying "I was planning on getting myself killed, taking as many mercs with me as possible" :crying:

I assumed that after mourning the death of his comrades, he had let what Sidonis done affect him too much, which made it easy for the mercs to go after him, and he went on the run from all three merc groups. He sheltered out in the base, which would provide him with the best cover, provided he set out with the bridge as the only way in and sealed everywhere else. I haven't played his recruitment mission for a while, though, so I can't remember.

Thanks for the uploads!  Lol at the ones of Garrus Shepard with Garrus in his squad.  Garrus, meet Garrus

It was a very sneaky way to get lots more Garrus in ways we wouldn't see him otherwise.  It's really cool to be able to see facial expressions - from brow-furrowing to smiling to surprise - that isn't normally shown often.
