Yes, but there's no reason to call Garrus a fish. At...all. At least with Thane you've got those nearly entirely black eyes, and the whole water planet and hanar thing.janeym27 wrote...
But isn't water problematic to the drell? (despite the whole Hanar thing)

The official ME novels describe Turians as avian or birdlike, though the lack of feathers, wings and...well, they do have slender waists but they don't seem fragile like birds' bones. But they do remind me of raptor dinosaurs, and dinos and birds are theoretically related, so....

Still, a pale imitation. Have Mike Mignola draw Thane and I might be intrigued.

BTW Garrus
I'm 20 mins into my first MShep PT... this should be interesting. Took me like 3 restarts to get a non Sheploo I liked. Looking forward to a bromance with Garrus and Tali

Is it just me, or does it look slightly orange in the daylight? (the actual armour itsself, that is. not the blue light on it)
Also, Garrus

Kaidan nor Jacob are the most vibrant and unique characters. Kaidan and Jacob are normal joes whereas Garrus and Thane are new and exciting. I suppose that's why the maliens are more popular.
Plus, like one of the developers pointed out, they have the disadvantage of the uncanny valley. We know what humans are supposed to look like, how they are supposed to move, so every way the characters come up short is a lot more glaring.

So I fic'd a bit. Just a drabble. Not really worth much, but I think of the funniest things when I'm in the shower.
Warning, the other post in my scribbles is MA, so don't click if that's not your sort of thing. This one is also a bit MA, but nothing explict. But if nekkid squicks you out... well, don't click.
Memories
Really late but I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought of Shep having tattoos.

It's too bad Thane is so angsty. Thane's lizardy-ness reminds me of my homeland of the American southwest. But when you've got someone like Garrus monopolizing all the bad assery, I guess terminal ilness and emotional baggage is the only way to be noticeable. I could have sworn there was a third male LI for FemShep but I can't be sure...
nope

Btw, to any Thane fans...not attacking Thane here, he's a great LI I think.

I'm only just getting the appeal of Thane as LI on this playthrough. Before, the emotional baggage stuff put me off (yes, I am that shallow). But he is quite sexy. lol
It's interesting how little support for Jacob there seems to be on this forum (and on the internets in general). Poor fella.
Yes... I have several saves to import as it is. Still, always room for one more.

I don't really think that's shallow. It's a legitimate concern.janeym27 wrote...

a) Jacob's uninteresting compared to everyone elseIt's interesting how little support for Jacob there seems to be on this forum (and on the internets in general). Poor fella.
c) There's less emotion in his romance in general. The romance scene basically boils down to Jacob being creepy and Femshep trying to sound sexy.
It's a shame there are so many blaring weaknesses in his romance because he seems to the be only romance that actually asks how Shepard is feeling. Which is a step in the right direction, I think.

Ehnnn, I don't think it's shallow to know that falling for somebody on their death bed isn't going to lead to happy times. Sometimes you feel like watching The English Patient, sometimes you feel like watching Die Hard. Yippee Ki Yay mutherfugger.

Sooo...quick question for you Garrus lovers who can sew and/or have small children...How probable do you think it would be for one of those adorable turian hats to stay put atop the head of a toddler? I mean not that I'm thinking of dragging my son into my turian-obsessed shenanigans or anything. I'm just curious...
*dusts off sewing kit, measures head of sleeping child*
Squee! That's adorable. Ahem, then I don't feel bad about mentioning how I'm stealing an idea for a certain loyalty-armor based hoodie for a certain toddler boy in my household....and for good measure (and sibling balance), I'm figuring out how to do a Tali hoodie for my turian-admiring preschool girl. There's nothing like taking squadmate direction from a child. "No! Take Grunt! He's Garrus' friend!" or "Take the blue lady!" (Don't worry all your heads, I don't play ME all day, or let my kids watch the really violent/sexy bits, etc.)
I think the turian hat would work as long as you used some cardboard or maybe a plastic 'mold' (like from a milk jug). My SIL knits and uses stuff like that for hat brims; the idea should carry over.
Also, Jacob: Man has NO ass. (Or, as we say about my daughter, a 'non-butt'). I cannot make myself be attracted to a human man with a flat space where an ass should be. Turians...well they;re supposed to be like that.
A little late to the party, but: Eeee! Tiny Tali/Garrus hoodies and turian hats, oh my! Soooo cute. I want tiny people to sew for : (
I guess I wasn't the only one inspired by siltsonata to dust off the old sewing machine. I'm working on a Tali inspired hoodie with removable gold fleece neckwarmer
Her suit design lends itself quite well to a jacket I think. Currently a work in progress. Considering sharing with the Tali thread, but I'm a little scared to venture in.
So, Garrus.
@ enormousmoonboots--I added screens of the post Saleon mission dialogue to the Garrus album. I'm not sure if that was what you wanted since the dialogue varies paragon to renegade. For what it's worth, they're in there.
*snerk*

Screwing around with photoshop

Also: Garrus. And...I'm done.
Carry on with previously scheduled Thane discussion /skulks back into the shadows.

Let's be honest: always you feel like watching Die Hard. Come on, it's freaking Die Hard.
Actually can I call back to several thread pages ago and have that be the first movie Shep and Garrus watch together, please? Just so Garrus (impressed by Bruce Willis' awesomeness) will spend the bulk of the subsequent battles shouting "Yippee Ki Yay mutherfugger" as he blasts those mercs away!
Brandon Keener needs to record that line.
Edit: @ Ray Joel Oh. Die Hard as a metephor for Garrus? You sir, are my hero.
