For such a short-lived character, he seemed pretty awesome. Incredible color scheme on him...and just look at his snazzy armor! But as soon as he said "I work better alone" you just knew it couldn't end well.

Was I the only person who, when Nihlus walked onscreen in ME1 and said, "1500 is good...your captain will be pleased.", said, "Oh, good grief...what the !@#$%^ is that?!?" yes I learned about turians and their face paint after that, and I do get it, but first impressions = WTF for Nihlus, at least for me

edit for azn:  I appreciate the help.   What I was trying to say (and apparently failing) is:  how do I post a link to that MP3, yet title it something else so the clickable link says something like, "Grunt's alternate loyalty mission" or something?

Try this: [*url=*insert url here*]Grunt's alternate loyalty mission[/url*] Except minus the astericks, of course. I think that should work.

I, too, thought Nihilus was...well, beautiful...when I first saw him. Then I thought about whether I should be concerned that that was my initial though upon seeing a Turian for the first time. But I am sooo past that now.

Anyway!

The easiest way is to have the URL copied (or as the text books say, in your clip board). Write out some text while using the full reply form. Highlight the desired text then click the insert/edit link button. It's the 7th button from the right. It looks like a lil Earth with two chain links linked together underneath it.

It should pop up a box that says "Link." Paste the url into the "URL" field.

If you want, I can take screen shots. (oh, but I said I'd do that long ago to make a tutorial on how to make hidden text on the Bioware forums...lol?)

My main Shepard uses Garrus in her squad all the time. In ME1, it was usually Garrus and Wrex, and in ME2... it switches up some more, but it's mostly Garrus and Grunt. It'll be hard not taking Garrus along all the time in other playthroughs because I'm trying to make the Shepards stay in character, bringing their romance interests with them and all that. Too bad three squadmates can't come along, Dragon Age style.



Nihlus was awesome. My main Shepard would have been pretty mad at Saren for killing him, but then she ended up liking Saren... and there's a 50-50 chance she would save the Council again just because there's a turian. She really likes turians.

Shepard #2: Zombie Saren for ME3!

Shepard #7: Yeah, about that. The other Shepards all voted on it, and I'm the one who has to break the news to you. You see... I don't think there's enough left of Saren to pull a Lazarus Project scenario. But hey, Garrus!

All the time. I use him with every character in every recruitment and loyalty mission except on his recruitment mission and the first 2 parts of the suicide mission. I always put him as leader, he just looks so happy when you choose him as the leader. He doesn't say anything but his face says it all. Like Jack, Garrus also disapproves of Miranda as the leader, he shakes his head plus if Jack dies Garrus is the one that questions Miranda's leadership I believe. I also like to ****** Miranda off. Why is she the 2nd in command of the Normandy? If anyone should have that position it should be Garrus. If there was an ending in which Shepard would die but his squadmates wouldn't, I'd imagine Garrus continuing his/her work.
