To up the badassery of the Garrus fan thread (as if that were possible), can I just say that I'm posting on my break from my work as a pirate. Seriously. I'm dressed in my shirt, waistcoat and boots as I type. And we all know pirates are pretty badass.... right?
...I don't want/know how to dignify that with an answer. I shall innocently sit here and twiddle my thumbs. Unless you wish to kill me or use some sort of pirate term on me. Then I shall hide behind Garrus. Which is a negative step towards this thread not being too weird.
I'm not sure pathetic is the right word for this thread.
Hmm, it's not strictly related, though you can link it to Garrus, but in ME1 did anyone give the evidence directly to Lorik Qui'in, or make him testify?

Ah, now I know. And thanks for the whole "tea with lemon" explanation you kindly added for me a while ago. It made me feel very enlightened.

There are 72 virgin Garruses waiting for us in Garrus Heaven. All you have to do is believe in Him and calibrate five times a day.
As for Lorik: I let him testify. I'm doing a new singleShep ME1 PT and I'll give him the evidence this time. MUST HAVE E-MAIL.
What
it would take to get Garrus off his damn calibrations? Hire someone for
this job. I wonder what his next excuse will be for not having the time
to talk.

I really like Lorik, actually. He's really refined, and a handsome turian. Probably too old for me, but what can you do.

21, baby. That's gotta be at most 9 years younger or something.Although, I can see how it would be hard to tell since I go around doing stuff like silly hoodies, and playing pokemon, and watching disney movies every night. I am perpetually 6-years old at heart.

I don't do any of that, but still feel like a 6-years old. That's probably why I feel like pedobear is watching us when I flirt with Thane. "Get away... you... serious... old... man."
Garrus still feels young and joyful. I want him to push me when I'm sitting on a pink swing. Weeeee! Someone should draw this.

Actually, yeah, that's one of the things that turned me off of Thane, now that you mention it. Maturity is cool, but Garrus's hotheaded streak makes him feel quite...young. Which appeals to me because you know...young mahself.

This picture was/is from a story that I still have yet to write. Long story short (ha), Garrus has a heart-to-heart with EDI about things. It's an interesting concept, but I'm blocked pretty hard.
I dunno. This is not one of my better works and I'm not pleased with it at all. Everything I tried turned out crappy and whatnot. It's just a hideous looking piece and yeah. I just don't do well with color shading that isn't orange/red, heh heh. And before anyone says anything, I'm always negative about my own work so there. Ehehehehe
But then again, part of this was done to rail against the people who draw adult Garrus art and NOT draw the actual turian body. Those people are lazy and have no respect for the character IMO. If they wanna get off on an alien with a human body, there's always Thane or Liara. *shrug*

Don't worry Flammie, I ain't offended.I look younger than my age (and am still at the brief point in life where that's a bad thing).
And clearly, you're also working too har-BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT.Cerrydd wrote...
I also look younger than my age. People say it's a compliment, but it doesn't feel like that when they ask for your ID when you're buying cigarettes. Minimum age is 16 here, I'm 22. HELLO?! (yes, I smoke. In the Mass Effect Universe only evil people smoke, therefore I am now officially evil.)
Regarding Thane: nothing wrong with older men, but I want someone I can relate too. He's too serious about everything. The fact that he's dying might have to do something with that, but it doesn't give him a wildcard.
Of couse Garrus can be serious too, but he's still someone I can imagine having fun with off-duty.

No, nothing wrong with older men. Good example is Carth: He's in the same boat as Thane, has a son, older (probably) than Revan. But Carth knows how to joke, laugh and have fun. While Carth isn't my favorite bioware romance of all time, I'm still quite fond of him and I like him heaps of a lot better than Thane for a romance. (Gotta be clear about this, because it's so easy to sound like you're attacking a character when saying why you don't prefer their romance.)
