The internet is a double blade sword. It's where all your dreams come true and all your dreams die. I'm exagerrating of course. But seeing the Wrex and Shepard picture made me go wtf.

Yeah, I don't really see Shepard and Garrus as having kids, it's just a nice relationship. At a full push though, it probably would have to be adoption, though.

Edit: Saw the picture. It really isn't that bad. Definitely wrong/scary and such when you think about it, but at a glance it's not too bad. I think the Wrex's imagination picture was worse.

Obviously I'm aware of that, I mean just having kids, adopted or somehow manufactured.
I dunno... I think Garrus has father issues (like so many ME characters) and might want a chance to 'be the man his father wasn't'. And Earthborn Shep may have a softspot for li'l orphans, given that she was one.
But who are we kidding? They have Grunt.

Yeah, Flammie, I didn't understand it at first either. I was like

Who knows, I guess it depends on what Shepard plans to do when all the hell gets dealt with and there's nothing to do. Maybe the two go out hunting baddies together, or they settle. Depends on how we see our Shepard and how ME3 ends.
...Y'know, it'd be really insulting if this thread got locked at page 299 and 25 posts (25 posts and the next one goes to the next page. Yeah, it's sad I know that)

No. I wonder if we'll get a glimpse in ME3. Who knows.kglaser wrote...
Does a picture of Garrus's father exist, anywhere? I'd like to make a pic with this caption, but his face:

I just remembered that in another thread somebody mentioned that it seems most of the squad members seem to have parental issues of some sort.

It's interesting, but American fiction in particular seems to deal with father issues and issues of paternal abandonment more than some other schools of fiction do (I was actually set up to write part of my thesis on this, once upon a time, but I changed majors and ended up doing sexuality and the body in performance. To be honest, neither are particularly useful. lol.)
Parental disappointment/abandonment comes into play in ME in a huge way. There are a good...10 or 11 MAJOR characters whose arcs involve these themes, and countless minor ones. And whole subplots which play out these themes (The Quarians and the Geth. The Rachnai Queen and her children. Hell, even the Keepers and the Reapers can be read in this way)
But back on topic.
Garrus and Shepard will travel accross the galaxy, righting wrongs, killing mercs, poking through crates for credits.... one of them will be killed in action at some point, and the other will go on a mad quest for vengence, unleashing a lifetime of pent up emotion they never fully put into words for the other. But they knew. They always knew.... (in my Shep's case, anyway. lol)

The game? Nah. This is my post credits scenario. I can't imagine either of them settling down and growing old. When they die, there will be a weapon in their hand and they will be taking someone with them!

I think that maybe Garrus might want to be the man his dad wasn't, or maybe he feels like he wouldn't be a very good dad himself. Either way, I just can't see him interacting less than severely awkwardly with babies. Older kids, 2-3 and up maybe. Seems like he'd be a good teacher, at the very least.

And I hate that I gave into temptation and clicked on it. *is kinda creeped out, and very aware that she needs to go to bed, possibly to have her dreams haunted.* Shudder.
Edited for mistype fail. And a sign I really should turn in. Up in 4 hours.

Ok yea. The fingers thing is irking me now too.
And, AND... while I can't see a preggers Shep with Garrus baby... I can see some illegal set up out there somewhere, where someone is trying to creat the perfect hybrid

Creating the perfect hybrid... *looks at Mordin*
Eh, I don't see my Shepard and Garrus staying in one place, I see them exploring, and whilst they don't actively seek out baddies, they're not afraid to pull out a gun and fire if the need arises. Maybe adopt a kid or not, that I don't know.
I'm really tired... janeym27's down, I'm in the same timezone as her, and I'm without a doubt younger than her. This is doing me in. *collapses*
I love Garrus. Good night here, all.
