Eh, they may end up just putting turians patrolling in their armour/turians in the sort of clothes you already see. Gloves on. Didn't one of the characters make a comment that you rarely see a turian with armour, or clothes off? It would actually be really nice to get just a little bit of skin...

Okay, that was bad. But anyway... Garrus!

"What the hell is that thing? It's so ugly!"
Anyone else get that response from someone who's seen a Turian for the first time?

I've never had anyone say anything about Turians but I hate when people look at what I'm playing. I like to play Mass Effect privately without anybody giving their opinions or looking at what I choose. I hate it when people start asking me questions about the game. If they want to know then they should play the game, I don't like to have to explain the whole story while I'm playing. Opinions are one of the reasons I don't like to play ME while someone I know is nearby. I liked Alistair a lot in Dragon Age, one day my brother heard him talk and said that he was probably gay or something. I get annoyed when people talk bad about the characters I like.

...And now there's a triple chain of the exact same Garrus avatar.

Relative, upon seeing me talk to Mordin (roughly what I understood from his Chinese and rough English)
"Seeing people that ugly, it makes me scared,"
I replied with a slightly sharp "So why are you watching it?"
So far, I think he's made the same comment about Husks and Scions. Nobody's reacted badly to turians, though. Perhaps because he hasn't seen them, yet.
Still, you gotta love the turians. I think they're awesome, no matter what anybody says. The only thing it really changes is how much I talk about them.
Oh, yes, dammit, I actually really dislike it when people just stare at the screen and watch when I play. The afforementioned relative constantly makes comments ("You're stuck, can't go anywhere"), and for some reason I find it a little uncomfortable when others watch, even moreso if they just don't say anything.
Kotori Ky, it's not that bad a joke. I suddenly imagined Shepard and Garrus falling into bed together, drunk, and waking up stark naked. Only to realise they're in a bed store.
I'm on an Xbox, so unless I got out a camera, I can't take screenies. You all are so lucky.

No. The only ones who have seen me play are my brother, my mom and my boyfriend. My brother plays too (he kind of forced me into playing ME1
I actually like it when people are around when I'm playing. It's kind of cosy and it makes me feel like I'm entertaining them
But I pushed him to reload, because otherwise he wouldn't get the paramour achievement

Can't say that I have! Then again, the only people who've watched me play Mass Effect are my sister and my best friend...and they both loved the turians. Their first reactions to Garrus were: Ooooooooh why does that alien have a special cutscene? Is he going to be a party member? ASKSDFHIK, I hope so! He looks cool! His voice ain't half-bad either, etc.
They were pretty excited to find out he was a party member. I don't know if my friend wanted to romance him, but my sister was mega disappointed he wasn't romanceable in the first game.

Near Solitude *Potentially NSFW* (it's no more revealing than the turian concept art that's out there, but better to be safe than sorry)
So glad that you decided to share this with us! I agree with Ray, your color sense makes me envious. I like Garrus' pose here, too. Very laid back and relaxed. And, can I just say THANK YOU for sticking to turian anatomy? I hate it when artists take Garrus' head and stick it on a human body. For some reason, it really grosses me out.

Well, obviously my good-taste-having daughter likes turians, my father is a giant sci-fi fan who appreciates the diverse aliens (he even said the asari remind him of the space babes on Star Trek. Misses nothing, this man.

...Yeah, I don't think I'm going to find a person in a mile who'd accept my strange Garrus fan-ness. Maybe someone who likes the turians. Nobody expects this kind of thing from me, nor will they be very supportive/pleasant about it, I feel. Eh, I'm fine not mentioning it. Bread from a trash can, it's not dirty or touching anything nasty, nobody has to know. Still tasty.
It's sometimes nice when someone watches me play, but when you know someone like my mum and my dad, it's kind of hard to play without feeling uncomfortable when they're watching. No, there are a few people I guess I wouldn't mind watching. My brother, for example. Don't ever want to let him see me romance Garrus/play as FemShep, though. He always asks why I play as females and it's not pleasant.

Okay, take this as a friendly suggestion: Grow a spine and brains, kid. You're gonna need them in life.

I think the best thing about this is that at a glance this looks like a ~dramatic~ picture of Shep dying. Nope just crunk.
Played ME1 in front of my family once, thought it would be great to show them this way cool video game I was enjoying! Then I got into a conversation about Quarian politics with Tali that lasted for about 15 minutes and realized this wasn't very entertaining to watch. Of Nihlus, dad said "He looks like a man wearing a mask."

You're taunting a teenager who has been upfront about how sensitive he is. It's not constructive.

There was nothing constructive or friendly about what you wrote, don't try to justify it by throwing words like "constructive" or "friendly" around. We have a great group of posters in here, let's keep it civil and fun.

Then you seeing my message wrong. Let me be more specific. I wasn't taunting him for his feelings, I was suggesting that he comes clean to himself. It doesn't matter to me if he sees best to either tell the truth, lie or otherwise. But there's not many worse fates than hiding from yourself. Learn to understand your feelings, control them before they make a mess of you.
