I think it's like 'He could have had her in ME 1, but didn't, which is why she ended up with Kaiden/Liara. Now he's back in ME2, he's seized the moment, so no one else has a chance.' Basically, if Garrus wanted her, he'd have had her. 'Cos he's Garrus. That is why I lol'd.

Hmm, they focus on the bottle. I wonder if that means he'll drink it on his own to forget that incident. Turning him down at that point is horrible. He seems so excited when Shepard comes out of the shower with the music and the wine and all that. Plus he sounds very disappointed when you Shepard says no.

I did it once 'for science' to get some screenshots for the OP... but geez, that made me feel bad for the rest of the week. If you ever want to feel down, watch his rejection scene. It's horrible.

Why they focus on the bottle, I don't know. Probably to rub it in. "He did all this for you and you reject him? Boooo!"

I mean, "I'm only happy when it rains", and all that, but I will never want to be THAT depressed.  I'm serious, no one can make me watch that.  When I turned all Dark Side in KOTOR, I felt genuinely like a piece of **** until I reloaded and fixed things, and when I romanced Thane only to dump him in my first playthrough of ME2 for about 8 secs. of nearly-unbearable silence, I literally LAID AWAKE FOR 2 HOURS in bed agonizing whether to reload and make everything right...I admit I am pathetic and whatnot, but for all the games I've played, BioWare has a diabolical gift/curse for making me care IRL what happens.  Damn you BW...DAMN YOUR EYES

Indeed. I can't see how some people will romance someone JUST to breakup with them and go after someone else.. Even if it's just a game, I would feel horrible. .. Which gets even worse when you get to thinking about the state of mind they could be in.
