1) Love to see the Garrus supporters checking in to give props--thanks to all! :)

2) Haven't gotten to Harkin yet...hope I can give him one hell of a headache ;)

3) Garrus rejection scene: I am a very curious person, and can watch many perverse things, and can't bring myself to watch that scene. It makes my heart hurt thinking about it. :(

4) Garrus hoodie = WIN :D

This is probably one of the few places where that doesn't sound weird.
I agree, this is one of my favorite fanarts to-date.  Wouldn't mind if that's what Bioware made turians look like.

This NSFW one is extremely well done, though the proportions of him related to her are way off. Still, very talented artist. Great gallery, too.

I've never watched the Garrus death scenes either. I'm used to my favorite characters getting killed off in movies/books/video games, but if the option exists to keep them alive, they will live! ...Poor Saren.

Unless it is proven otherwise, that fanart (the one two pages ago) will be my "canon" mental image of what turians look like under the armor. Even my evil Shepard wonders about these things, for scientific reasons only. That giant collarbone really confuses him.

I have to stop staring at that picture before I stop finding human men attractive.

First time I played the suicide mission I made the mistake of having Miranda be the biotic specialist. Thus my luck was I had to watch Garrus get taken and killed by the seeker swarms screaming in a pain... Needless to say I started screaming obscenities at my Shepard for not even trying to save him and proceeded to throw my 360 controller on the ground and shut of my xbox XD

Then I restarted the mission and did fine... But that was not ok watching him die... I think Bioware enjoys tormenting their players.

My cats have begun to get jealous of Garrus and his fanart. XD I swear, they keep giving me dirty looks as I stay up overly late to go through fanart and screenies. XD

Also, that fanart of him removing his burn-bandage is... that is EXACTLY what my mind will now consider Garrus to look like sans-shirt. I mean, the biotic is in a logical place, the burns and scarring all look logical and perfectly rendered.... the only thing that makes me go o0 are his hands, but they're also logical to how all of the game footage have them. I guess. Just so different from human hands that my brain works overtime to figure out just how they... work.

.................................

....okay, brain went way down the sewers there. Great, just what I needed before going to bed. /facepalm

I read all of the spoilers ahead of time, so no one dies in the suicide mission unless my Shepard plans it. :D (Next in line is the Shepard who will get Miranda and the crew killed off on purpose.) I still worried that Garrus or one of the other squadmates might die during my first playthrough, even though I knew all of my Shepard's decisions were the right ones.

I think Garrus would have had no problem staying alive even if I didn't read the spoilers, but a few others might have had problems. If I hadn't known about Mordin's random death holding the line, I probably wouldn't have sent him to escort the crew.

I don't know which is worse the death scenes or the rejection scene. I don't care though, I'm never going to allow him to die and I'm never going to reject him. Just watching those videos once makes me want to vomit or get angry at the person who allowed him to die.

About the second fanart: Considering I am a very tiny person(smallest in my family and it is bloody annoying at work when I have to stand on things to reach shelves) I find myself giggling at it. (Had it Fav'ed on DevArt awhile ago) Even if the size difference is a bit much for that being Shepard... it lets ME giggle.

I love the coloring she used for it. Incredibly tasteful.

Make an account only to see the NSFWs? Why would I, when I have you? But, that artwork is beautiful.

@Pacifien: Good luck. I hope you don't have anything to do the next 24 hours ^_^

I did my first suicide mission unspoiled, and I was raging when Grunt was taken away by seeker swarms. I thought, "I don't care if Jacob dies so I'll choose him for the biotic bubble" but damn, it didn't work that way. Same thing for Jack. I thought, "I don't care if she dies so I'll send her back to escort the crew", and surprise, Mordin died at the door.

My renegadeShep PT is going to kill the crew, Miranda, Jacob and Jack on purpose. I want to have at least one PT with people dying, and since I love all my aliens, it's the humans who are out of luck. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/devil.png[/smilie] It's not a logical thing to do with a renegadeShep, but oh well.

Poor Grunt. D: I haven't decided which squadmates will get killed off in all of my playthroughs yet, except for that one Sole Survivor Shepard who gets more and more paranoid about the Cerberus crew as time goes on, and the Cerberus loyalist who will give Legion to them (not sure if that counts as a squadmate "death", but close enough). I've been really analyzing my Shepards to try and figure this out. xD Garrus is always safe though.

Depends on the Renegade, I guess... My Shepards never go full Paragon or Renegade, but I have a Renegon who hates most humans. Ironically, he doesn't mind working with Cerberus. (He totally doesn't care about politics and their effect on the galaxy. He just wants to kill the Reapers.)

I like this, since I run to see him in the battery just to hear his voice, even though I know that is what he is going to say.

Missed being on here, "real" life has been weird outside of this little cocoon of warmth and Garrus goodness. <3

People sure do like to kill off squadmates. I never let anyone die as much as I hate them. I just hope Miranda, Jacob (the priiize), Kelly and Jack don't come back in ME3. The one I want less to come back is Kelly. Ugh she's so annoying. Why did they have to kill off Pressly? He was so much better than that woman. It's always this and that about this alien or that other alien and how much she likes aliens. Aliens are great but she just wants to go to bed with all of them.

Some of my Shepards were secretly happy when they got the chance to leave Ashley on Virmire. xD I agree about Pressly though - I liked his character by the end, and I would much rather have him on the Normandy instead of Kelly. The poor Shepards who want to get rid of Kelly, but not the rest of the crew. (They like their poker buddies.)

...Did the Tali thread just get lockdown? o_o; Is it "prepare for character fan-thread lockdown time" again?

Well who's going to bring back our thread of awesome Garrus? The person who made this one disappeared some time ago.
