Well who's going to bring back our thread ofawesomeGarrus? The person who made this one disappeared some time ago.
I blame the talimancers, they got to him/her and got forced to submit.

Shepard: That's what he was doing all this time? Posting on the forums? I knew the Normandy didn't need that much calibrating.
...The Tali thread has multiple pages already. o_o; (Two at the time I'm typing this, but it'll probably be three or four after I submit the post.) Edit: I was wrong. xD Seven pages. Edit 2: Actually, there's three of them...

Also, did anyone else just have a problem when trying to post? I thought they locked down the thread, but the whole ME2 forum wouldn't show up for a while.

I think the Tali thread is broken... Look at the first post on the last page and see if it has a weird gray "smudge" effect like it does every time I look at it. o_o; I don't see any other fan-threads being locked down yet, anyway. (And I think the official Tali thread has been chosen. xD) Anyway, I think the Garrus thread is probably smaller because we mostly stay on-topic.

I had that too. I got a red text saying I could not view this board or something. Near heart attack, I thought this thread got locked down too, but it applied to the whole board.
I don't mind this thread being smaller. It's much easier to catch up after leaving for a while. And we are indeed mostly on topic. The first 7 pages of the new Talithread is about deciding which one is the 'real' one, lol. I'm happy we'll probably never have that kind of trouble with the Garrus thread.

I think the Garrus thread has a good balance between the threads that move too fast and those that move too slow.
@Ray Joel Oh: It's probably a forum glitch, or something like that. For me at least, the first post on the last page of the Tali thread is half-unreadable. The strange thing is that it stays that way no matter how many times I go back to that page.

But one of those moments of distraction did lead me to some of the early footage of Garrus. Garrus without facepaint and his ocular piece.
I remember how much I hated that voice they had for Ashley.

Everyone on the forums knows what's up. (but, aznsoisauce, how could you know that if you only post in this thread?)
And...I know this was brought up a few pages ago...but I am mesmerized by koucha's recent [shirtless for science] Garrus fanart. I cannot stop staring at that implant...and the details on the scars...the little scratches and cracks on his skin...
And now for

Okay, I have just made it through 216 pages of Garrus in one sitting. I may or may not keep going, but I keep clicking links and then that leads to clicking more links and then I almost forget what my initial intention is.

Hot damn dude, another 100 or so pages to go then.

Hawt damn, Williams. Calm the f*ck down.
Hm. They should really include that armor Garrus is wearing. The colors may take some getting used to, but the other details (like the part in the front that pokes up) are interesting.

Garrus's awesomeness really kicked into overdrive for ME2. I think Joker puts it best... "it's great that he finally got that rod out of his butt, but now he's trying to beat people to death with it".
Garrus was already aweome in ME 1, but he rocked our world so hard that we dont remember

Ohhh silly, that's not a glitch, that's just a bunch of symbols somebody typed there. It's a "ZALGO" meme on 4chan.
Ehh, you're not missing much.

He can talk, but he's really mush-mouthed. His lips don't want to part very far so it looks like he's hiding his teeth. Shows you some of the extremes of the model's range of expression, though.

Nobody to smile at on Omega, so I went back to the Normandy. Something went very wrong.

But he slapped some facepaint on and nobody notices.

Getting drunk with Chakwas

Went to his cabin to try to fix things. Results not promising.

Will continue my efforts.

Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiis.
Wait.

Obligatory Jacob picture (I love you for real though, Jacob. You Hot Chocolate Mustang you.).
Sooooo, Garrus, right?
That discussion that we had a few pages back? You all remember the one. The one where we were talking about how people felt when we showed 'em turians?
Yeah.
Decided to try my hand at showing someone who wasn't my sister or my best friend a turian: my dear ol' mum. I showed her this picture of Garrus.

(I know it's already been posted, but well, HCM Jacob up there needs some competition in my post--also, on an unrelated note, for a second, I thought Garrus was holding some underwear. DERP).
Her reaction: What is that thing?! It's ugly!
I, being the dutiful devil's advocate, reminded her that she had said not but five seconds ago that personality is what mattered in her attraction to someone.
Her rebuttal: Yeah, but you know what? People said the Elephant Man had a heart of gold, too.
Sorry to break it to you, mum, but I decided that my character is in love with an Elephant Man. His name is Garrus, and he has a beautiful voice. I'm positive that if given more time he would have serenaded Shepard's clothes off before the SR2 hit the Omega 4 Relay. Let me show you the cutscene where they do the horizontal tango.
For the record, I made her listen to him before she decided what she thought. I think she would agree with the serenading Shepard's clothes off bit.
