So, random thought on Garrus's burning need to avenge his team...
Turian religion... the team/squad/ship has it's own spirit. You think maybe part of his reaction to losing his squad is tied in to the whole fact that now the spirit of what they were doing is dead? The thought is still barely formed in my brain, and I'll have to look over the codex entry again... but it'd be an interesting insight to why he's out for Sidonus. Especially since Sidonus is another turian and should understand even more what he's done. May even be why Sidonus feels like he's already dead back at the Wards.
Just a thought...
It could be but Garrus doesn't seem like the religious type. He never talks a lot about Turians in fact. He just talks about his life and about how he thinks the job should be done. Maybe this is tied to the idea of him believing that he is not a good Turian. Maybe talking about Turians reminds him of that and so he chooses not to talk about it. The only time he talks about something Turian is about "Reach and Flexiblity", Palaven being like Virmire and him not being a good Turian.
I don't think that he's terrible religious either. And I know he says for a turian, he's a pretty bad one.
But he still is a turian. It might be something that's just in the back ground. Might be one of the reasons why his first expecience with Shepard was so molding, because she was the leader of their first tema, one that made a difference, save the galaxy.
Eh, I could be trying to see something that's either not there, or not that a big deal. Either way, it was just something that struck me as possible. Thane got the quota for the "religious" guy, but sometimes I think it can be something subtle, not something that needs to be shoved in your face.
Oh and the thought totally struck me when I was pondering a scene between my Shep, Garrus and Papa Garrus: THE INTRODUCTION! XD
