I wish we'd gotten to choose whether we want the dress or tux. My Shep doesn't do dresses, and when she does it always ends like this. Imagine how awkward that's for Garrus, he'll be in no place to optimise firing algorithms after that conversation.

But anyway, the thing Kasumi says about how everyone wants Shep and Garrus to get togetger reminded of Kelly gushing about it after you recruit Garrus. Should we assume there's a whole bunch of people sitting outside the captain's quarters with popcorn, listening in on the romance scene?
Although, now that I think about it, making bets about who Shep's gonna sleep with is probably a great way to pass time on a starship.

My best friend's parents immigrated from Hong Kong.  Her first language = Cantonese (Hoisin).

Her accent = none whatsoever.

...The resemblence to my sister is slightly uncanny. Also, Hoisin, as far as I know, is pretty much seafood. Unless you were emphasising that it was Cantonese, because it's pronounced differently in other dialects.

I actually hate getting hurt, funnily enough. About the same level as getting dirty.

I had to go back in and put the NPC outfits in by hand, I couldn't use the linked file that was out. Still a bit glitchy, repeats a few outfits for some reason that will have to be looked at. But that's what a day off is for. (Saturday... wheee)



You know, I understand the Ash/Kaidan fans are all pissed off... but they DID get more than the Liara fans in a way. Yes, you can go talk to Liara whenever, but the RELATIONSHIP part is the brief kiss farewell thing. With Ash/Kaidan you have the interaction on Horizon(including hug and Garrus having your back if he's there), then Kelly comments... then Joker comments.... and then the email. With Liara you get.... a hug and kiss farewell and that's it. A little perspective is needed there, I think. They're not getting THAT shafted. And it is their decision to stay faithful and they get to look forward to seeing what kind of payoff they will get. So... I have little pity. :\\



That pic of her sitting like that in that dress just... Dude. I'm a major tomboy, even in my slightly kinda advanced years, but even I know there's a limit to when you sit like that and when you don't. omfg. XD

Well, I can understand they're pissed off when every LI gets commented on except for Kai/Ash. I would probably react the same way if they were my favourites. However, at least they have 90% certainty that Kai/Ash will return with a big role in ME3, while we can only speculate whether Garrus (or any other squad mate) will return. BW kept Kai/Ash/Liara's roles small to make sure they couldn't be killed off and they can return in ME3, or so I read somewhere. It's their own choice to stay faithful. Well, then they just have to be patient. Heh heh.

Errr... I think Tali has the biggest and most fanatical fanbase, so (almost) no Tali in ME3 would cause a ****storm, and not political. I don't know about Kai/Ash though. When you put those two together, they're pretty big too.

Garrusfans are laidback.

Or that relaxed state of mind would magically disappear when ME3 lacks Garrus.

With ME3 being the end of the trilogy, BW has to work hard to satisfy all their fans. I feel sorry for them.

Actually, I think the Tali and Garrus fans would ally in that case--there's a lot of overlap in fanbases, and if Bioware wasn't including arguably the most popular romance in the third game Garrus's odds don't look too good either.

So the alien romance fans would combine to create a huge explosion that would crush the outrage of the Alliance romance fans.

Lack of Tali will probably cause the biggest storm. I think, even for a pretty in-depth fanbase, we're quite laid back. Of course, we definitely wouldn't be happy if there isn't Garrus, but I remember Ray joked that if Garrus wasn't in ME3 she'd... frown as hard as she could. Of course, Garrus has loads of fans outside of this thread, so I can't really judge his reaction. I'm pretty sure Tali lackage won't be taken kindly.

That's also a thing about Garrus. A lot of people like him, while there are not a lot of people who hate him. One of the surveys showed that very well. Mordin and Garrus got rated high. Tali also got high grades, but with a higher standard deviation, which means that there's a bigger range between her grades. Talifans give her a 10 (obviously), but there are a lot of Talihaters who will give her an 1. Garrus doesn't really have that problem; you either like him a lot, or 'just' like him. There aren't many Garrushaters.

Anyhow, leaving out the two squadmates who have been there from the beginning would be a very bad move by BW.

@Garrus dreams - Usually, when I have one, it'll be some sort of plot bunny that wants attention, but usually just gets discarded when I wake up.  So far, only two of the many have actually made it to type. o.O

Yeah, there's no reason to stop now and alienate a lot of fans. It's obvious they acknowledge the Garrus and Tali love by their return in ME2 and their romanceable-ness, so it wouldn't make sense for them to suddenly do a U-turn and cut the two out, making them non-existant or very minor.

Hmm... is it just me or is the Mako's aim terrible? Tried standing right up next to the post and shooting at the tiny geth sniper in it, but even the cannon didn't hurt it. Running over geth is pretty fun, and can actually be helpful, though.

I don't see them removing them, honestly. The distancing of Shepard from the Alliance was a reason for Kaidan/Ash to be on the side for this 'chapter' and Liara's position is understandable given her situation as well. But all three have some strong hints that they will be back. (The emails, Liara's quest, etc)



Aside from that, the Kasumi lines make me think that BW knows full well the number of fans the two alien LI have here. (Esp the Garrus one. XD Lots of people want to see Shep and Garrus get together? Hells yes! Haha.)

Plus there's some things she says that made me snarfle out loud. You can go to her after every mission for at least three little tidbits of conversation. She's apparently got the hots for Jacob... which is HILARIOUS considering how few people -mance him.

I still haven't spoiled myself on her Garrus lines... /nods

I shall keep my eyes clear of them!

Oh and the thing she says about Joker and EDI: PRICELESS.

Yeah, I guess Kasumi hasn't realised or forseen the horror that is the "priiiize". I mean, she hasn't initiated yet. Hopefully she's not going to talk like a perv, as apparently Shepard talks to him like.

I wonder who romanced him and liked it? I think a lot more would have preferred to mace him than -mance him.
