That's it! with all the Kasumi comments on LI talk lately, i can't resist the temptation anymore, gonna buy the Kasumi dlc tomorrow just for the bloody 2 lines about Garrus <_<' Ugh! i'm desperate as hell, ain't i? hope its worth the 560 MS points.

So I understand Kasumi says something about each level of relationship you are with for each LI?

So when I play ME2 again, can I go back every level of the relationship and she'll say new things, or does she only say thing per playthrough and that's it? Then again she's only been out for 2 days, maybe no one knows.
P.S. Don't tell me what she actually says for each LI, rather not know.

She says one comment when you're romancing them and one comment after you've slept with them.

I prefer calling it the romance scene. There's ambiguity with the Garrus/Thane/Tali/Jack (paragon) romances at least.

Thanks for the info all. Just one more question though.

Let's say I do this.
1. Enter the relationship with someone.
2. Talk to Kasumi, she comments.
3. Do a mission.
4. Enter the second stage of the relationship.

Does Kasumi comment again, or did I already use up the reference from her? If anyone knows.

I think she only says one thing about the relationship, probably when you had the last relationship talk before it starts looping. I listened to the audio files and I couldn't find more.

I wonder, do they treat you differently if you break up with them in the final scene? Since apparently that qualifies as breaking up with them "badly"? I can never commit to it long enough to go through the Collector mission before I reload.

Does rejecting them really end the romance? I have to agree with comitting though. I would feel like such a jerkass to Tali if I rejected her after all of the effort she went through. Garrus too went through all that effort.

It really is a great DLC.  I was very happy with it.  Kasumi is cool and Bekenstein is beautiful.  I don't think you'll regret it.

It appears to, in the case of Tali/Garrus/Jack. But I've never actually rejected them and then gone through the relay to tell if anything changes.

I'm pretty sure that Garrus doesn't have any different dialogue if you "break up with him poorly", anyway. Otherwise someone would have found the sound file for it by now.

I don't know, I haven't tried it. But I didn't know you could break up 'badly' until I heard the Kasumi lines. Rejecting Garrus in the romance scene is not 'good', but turning Jacob down in the romance scene isn't really breaking up. At least it doesn't look/feel like that. It's more like, "not today".

I agree with Ray. Even without the LI reference (which I didn't even expect in the first place) the DLC is enjoyable and fun. Kasumi has pretty cool ninja moves.

I don't think they treat you any differently afterwards in the game, though they probably would be quite distracted/tense around you, normally. As far as I know, saying no to some of the romances just qualifies as a "I'm not in the mood, maybe another time,". I think Miranda and Jacob are definitely that.

I hate sweeties too. Especially Smarties. Ugh.

I'm not sure if Kasumi uses up her comments, or she says the exact same thing as if she forgot she said it to you, but I don't think she makes another comment unless you break up with the romancee or finish up the romance scene.

Dammit, I can't wait to catch up on everything I missed when I move back to ME2. ME1's actually growing on me, now I've actually got shields and health, so I don't drop dead like a fly in the first few seconds of a firefight ¬.¬

ME1's combat sucks compared to ME2's combat. It feels so clunky and awkward. Plus there are plenty of unfair ways to die, often instantly, in ME1 that makes the game often frustrating.

Yeah, one thing that doesn't happen in ME2 that happens in ME1, quite annoyingly especially with rockets, is damage that depletes your shield overlaps into your health. OHKOs a plenty when I did my first few missions. (Mako magically disappeared, so I had to battle through all sorts of rocket-wielding geth on foot). Oh, and I don't like how medi-gels and healing are handled in ME1.

It's handling a lot better, now I've got better armour, Electronics boosting my max shields up and such. Now it takes two rockets to kill me. And Garrus and Wrex don't just stand there and die, anymore. I've actually finally got into some intense firefights where nobody in the party died.

I'm starting to fail more at Mako driving. And the cannons and machine guns feel so inaccurate.

...Need more Garrus.

That's why I just say "to hell with combat" and play on casual with the HMWSG X.  I walk and just shoot in the general direction of enemies.  They pretty much just give up and fall over when they see me coming.  Makes for a nice quick playthrough, too.

I want to share something I made (the idea came from a few of my girlfriends in my same clan) for the guys I play TF2 with. We were doing our best to describe the differences between the romances and the crazy fan girls behind all three.

Yeah, i agreed with the combat system in ME1 is sucks compared to ME2. Insanity in ME1 is truly insane and nerve breaking in the battle with Benezia on Noveria, after died like 30++ times and almost put my fist through my LCD, i gave up,switched to casual mode and blasted the rest of my way through the damn game...

You forgot the anaphylactic shock. Leave that for last though, you might not live to experience the rest. ;)

Anaphylactic shock doesn't leave an external mark.

...I don't know whether to be amused or worried.

Really? I thought insanity in ME2 is truly insane. I managed to finish insanity ME1 without too many problems (except the regular, dying a lot), but when I started ME2 insanity it was really frustrating.

But I have to say, beginning a ME1 PT after you've finished ME2 is pretty ridiculous. They improved ME2 on so many points. When I played last week, Garrus and Wrex were shooting a box, because there was an enemy behind it. So stupid. Combat in ME2 is way better.

I think he's referring to riddling oneself with turian injuries, silentstephi. It was a joke I made to kglaser talking about Garrus leaving a turian foot bruise on Harkin.

This. THIS. THIS. THIS!!!!!!!

I've yet to play insanity, but I have a feeling I'd throw a fair few fits. Lucky I'm not a biotic, or something.

You can do worse than to die with a grin on your face.  (provided the anaphylaxis kills you quickly enough, heh)
